Been to PABCO many, many times over the years and have had a good experience the majority of visits. A server currently employed there named Renee is probably one of the best waitresses that I've ever seen. The rest are hit and miss, in my opinion. They also serve great food. Under new ownership and the quality has really slipped in recent years. It used to be worth spending money at, but lately the food is bad and the beer is sour. It is not uncommon to suffer GI issues after consuming their poor quality home brew. I'm not sure if this is due to a failure to properly clean their lines or perhaps some sort of failure in the brewing process. Either way, take your business elsewhere. Came in for the food. It was a massive bourbon BBQ bacon burger about 6 inches high with a loaded plate full of waffle fries all cooked to perfection for a reasonable price for the amount. Couldn't even finish it all. Will taste great later! Service was amazing and the food came to the table in a quick fashion. Would eat here again on the reg! read more

A decent lounge for pa. Good food and beer. Downfall is the waitresses are often horrible, rude and condescending. But it is one of the better and cleaner places in pa to have a beer. read more

the whole concept was a perfect idea in theory and in reality it get's 80% there. the interior is half way to a great pub style atmosphere but the middle is filled with regular tables and doubles as a sort of club by night, missing out on the potential full pub feel. beer quality is passable (especially the red, skip the IPA it tastes nothing like any IPA i have had since and I've had too many), but nothing to go out of your way for... i have had times where the beer tasted a little funky like the lines weren't properly cleaned/sanitized or introduction of other yeast strains. in the end it's an option in PA but it could have been the number one option with a few tweaks. read more

Come for the beer. The P.A. Brewing Co. is a microbrewery/restaurant. They have 3 house beers on top in addition to the standards. The food is ok, but the beer is good, and it has a cool old english/castle style interior. Try the onion rings. read more

the brew pub is awesome they recently got a new cook and changed their menu the food is now amazing the beer that they brew is also really good and their prices are really good and they have always done this you can not find a cheeper drink anywhere i would reccoment them to anyone if you have not gone you must go and check them out read more
