On entering the building, being a gentleman, I let my wife go first,,, so she obscured the sign on the door etc from my view. Then, when I made our group's food order, no-one at the bar asked me what my registration number was!!!! Suffice to say that I will never again be going there and I will be advising all my friends in the area to avoid it too. I am utterly disgusted that visiting a pub means a fine for parking. What an appalling way to treat customers!!

It's light and airy, and the restaurant area has had a makeover in white and pastels. As well as the beer garden, there are some outside tables at the front. We ordered from the sandwich menu: pulled chicken, mozzarella & pesto in ciabatta (£7) and tomato, mozzarella & pesto, served in focaccia (£6.50). Both came with fries, and were perfectly ok but not outstanding. With drinks it came to £18.40. Ordering on their computer seemed a bit agonised, but the young manager was extraordinarily welcoming and polite. The pub lays on music and other events over the summer.
