I have to say as someone from the States, this is the place to go if you want a taste of home (in…read moremy case, an "American" breakfast). The menu has a huge variety of breakfast items that will remind you of HUGE breakfast portions that one might find in the States. For my breakfast enjoyment, I went with the "Green Eggs & Ham". Overall, I thought might dish was very delicious and quite filling. The dish was served with at least three eggs and three huge slices of ham. However, I wonder if it would have been better for dish to be prepared with egg whites, instead of whole eggs, to really give the effect of green eggs instead of that of yellow-green eggs. That said, the shade of green vs. yellow-green was not a big deal for me. For US standards, the price of many of the plates were on par with what one might spend in the States. If you are used to spending 2-5 Euros for breakfast in other parts of Spain, the prices here might be a bit of a shock. However, this is somewhat expected since Menorca attracts many tourists and is an island.
While the food were delicious and the portions were generous, I was a bit annoyed with the service. Perhaps, the restaurant was a bit short-staffed during our visit, but it took a while for our waitress to acknowledge us. I did not think the restaurant looked very busy, but one never knows what is going on behind the scenes. Although this did not bother me too much, I was annoyed when the waitress brought out the wrong dish and heavily implied that I ordered it. Perhaps, it was simply the inflection in her voice, but she made it seem like I changed my order once the food came to the table. I mean a server mixing up orders happens from time to time, but one should not make the customer feel as if they did something wrong if they were not in the wrong. Then again, since this is a tourist restaurant that somewhat caters to customers from the States (and probably the UK) maybe many customers change their orders a the last minute or order one thing thinking that they ordered something else.
