We immediately turned around and brought it back to Raza, the owner/ seller. He assured us the vehicle was fine. He then informed us that he had work done on the hybrid system but stated that it was under warranty. He then hooked up a monitor to the vehicle, which seemed to clear the warning indicators from the dashboard. At that point, we asked him to give us the warranty since it was in our name, in case of any future issues . It was at that point Raza refused and stated that he had to keep it because it was in his name. I thought that sounded strange, but I figured after the registration changed through the DMV, all of the paperwork would be transferred over to us. Feeling that the warranty would be in our name afterward and seeing no warning lights, we proceeded to drive the vehicle home. However, about 20 minutes later, the same warning indicators came on. I immediately contacted Raza, telling him about the issue we were having, and he told me that the system was fine. "Trust me, he said. I insisted on this issue being a problem for us, so he asked that we bring the vehicle back to him the following Monday ( April 14th, 2025.) At this time, I began feeling that Raza was not being honest or forthcoming about the vehicle, so I made an appointment with Valley Hi Toyota on April 14th, 2025, instead. Valley Hi Toyota informed me that the hybrid system was showing a faulty battery, and the cost would be around five thousand dollars. It was at that point I contacted Raza and informed him of the findings. Raza said that "Toyota was lying to us to get money. " Raza also said that he will send a person up to pick up the vehicle and do the necessary repairs. Raza told me, " I need to fix this because it's bothering me more than it is bothering you." At that point, I paid Valley Hi Toyota and waited to set a time and location for Raza to send someone to retrieve the vehicle. Hopefully, Raza will do the right thing and resolve this issue so that I can report something positive in the near future.

I was relieved to hear that they had two EV Service Techs on site. Turned out that my battery failed the load test and had a bad cell. Luckily, the 12 volt battery was still under warranty so it was replaced. I also appreciated Justin, who was approachable & answered my questions regarding service authorization. Victoria, the cashier, was professional and explained my bill to me. Big thanks to Ace who made everything run smoothly. Bring your car to another Nissan dealership. This service center charges me for services and "found…read morenothing wrong" when I brought it in for a system error. They told me they ran diagnostics and just needed to jump my car. Less than 24hrs later the same issue happened again. I brought it to another mechanic and they were able to find the issue in less than 30 minutes and clearly articulate the issue to me. AGAIN, DO NOT BEING YOUR VEHICLE TO FET SERVICED BY THIS NISSAN DEALERSHIP. The service was less than courteous, I'm not expecting to make a new friend but they could at least act like they cared.

Honestly, it didn't even occur to me to check because you just assume they worked fine. They were very gracious and offered to replace and fix the issues at a fraction of what it cost me. I think this is extremely generous considering the car was bought "As-is" and they had no responsibility to fix it after I drove it off the lot. I think it speaks volumes of how Don wants his customers to perceive their experience at his dealership and knows that it's a small investment for a continuing relationship. They were very flexible with me scheduling a test drive and letting me check out the car. They were flexible with a pre-purchase inspection at the local dealership which took longer than expected, and payment and paperwork was very quick and easy thanks to Paul. Ben Auto offered a very competitive and fair price below market value for my car and no negotiation was necessary. This was my first solo serious car purchase for me and I'm very happy I found these guys. Since I bought it, the car has run beautifully over 1000 miles in the first month and there were no issues at pre-purchase inspection. I went to the dealership to purchase a vehicle after reserving it online. Prior to my visit, I had been communicating with a salesperson named Raymond for several days. At no point did he disclose that the vehicle would not be available when I arrived. When I got to the dealership, I was immediately asked how much the car was worth. I found this to be an odd question since I was not selling a vehicle. I later realized this inquiry appeared to be related to attempts to increase the sale price beyond what had been advertised online. This discrepancy between the advertised price and the price presented at the dealership raises serious concerns regarding compliance with California consumer protection laws and regulations governing vehicle advertising and pricing. Consumers have the right to rely on advertised prices when deciding whether to travel to a dealership, and changing the price after the customer arrives can be considered a deceptive sales practice if not properly disclosed. I incurred the time, expense, and inconvenience of traveling to the dealership based on the advertised price, only to discover that the terms presented in person did not match what had been represented online. Had the actual selling price or required additional charges been accurately disclosed before my visit, I could have made an informed purchasing decision. I request that this matter be investigated to determine whether the dealership's advertising and sales practices comply with applicable California laws and regulations governing vehicle advertising, pricing transparency, and unfair or deceptive business practices. Throughout the transaction, communication was extremely poor. Raymond rarely returned phone calls or text messages. I had sent him several specific questions regarding the vehicle before arriving, yet I received little to no response. We had agreed before my arrival that the vehicle would be fully fueled and fully charged. Instead, when I took delivery, the gas tank was only one-quarter full, and the battery was completely discharged. This demonstrated a lack of preparation and respect for my time. I expressed my concerns related to this conduct by Yossef and he flat out told me that his conduct was legal and that his actions were consistent with your companies business standards. Raymond essentially ceased communicating with me during the sales process. He did not return calls, failed to respond to text messages, and only became engaged again when it was time to screw the temporary paper license plate onto the vehicle. After the purchase, I requested updates regarding: The status of pending repairs. Confirmation that the vehicle would be fully fueled and charged. An update regarding the condition of the tires. Written documentation confirming that the charging system was functioning properly since the vehicle had not been charged as promised. The overall experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and fell well below the standard of customer service I expected. The lack of communication, failure to honor commitments made before delivery, and poor preparation created unnecessary inconvenience and significantly diminished what should have been a positive vehicle purchase. I believe prospective customers deserve transparent communication, honest advertising, and a dealership that honors the commitments it makes before a sale.
