David) is committed to communicating the truths of scripture through God-honoring sermons that have a Reformed focus. - The members of the Church are a true showing of what a Christian Church should be: inviting, loving, concerned for new attendees, and many of the men of the church are committed to knowing and living out good doctrine. Not to say that the women of the church aren't, I just don't know as much about them! - The church provides a refuge of the type of worship service which connects back to how I would envision worship during the early church. - The people in the church, though committed to truth, don't take themselves too seriously...and take God VERY seriously! The perfect combination! If you are from a Reformed background, and you live in Mercer County, this is the church you want to attend! It is PCA, and there is a commitment to building strong relationships! If you are not from the Reformed back ground, and simply want to know about what Christianity teaches, this is ALSO the Church for you. God has been at work mightily in the heart of the pastor, and in the hearts of the elders. The church is filled with people who know what Christian love TRULY is: we all sin, we all deserve God's judgment, yet God loves us. Because of this, no one who enters the walls of the Church will be judged: only loved!

This church seems to know who it is theologically, politically and socially. The pastors, staff and leadership seem rock solid, progressive and thoughtful. Give them a visit if you are in the area and looking for a church. DISCLAIMER: Yes, I give every church FIVE STARS not because every church is superfantablous, but every church that I will review can certainly be a FIVER to someone. I will never review a church that I would not be willing to try myself if I were looking. No need to bad mouth freaky-scary churches because they are uh, well, freaky and scary.

Simply wonderful historic Presbyterian church located on the town of Princeton's main street,…read moreNassau Street. Many might not know that each of the prestigious Ivy League colleges were all founded originally as theological seminaries. So, naturally, each had an affiliate church. Nassau Presbyterian, aka "Nassau Presby," is that for Princeton University and theological seminary. I discovered it my senior year in high school while growing up in Princeton. I was involved in the high school choir and the high school fellowship group. Was baptized here when 17 years old. If you arrive by the NJ Transit bus that drops off nearby on Christmas Eve, you could (perhaps still might?) hear the bell choir clinking their bells and the gathered throngs singing along with the wonderful traditional Christmas hymns. Love it still. Drawbacks: Out of towners will not already know this, trying to park in the Palmer Square area of P'town is nearly impossible. There is no parking lot, really. This church was constructed years before there were cars. Arrive early. Circle. It's Sunday morning and you're going to church, God might help you out. Alternatively, there area parking lots several blocks away. Wear a navy blazer to look like a regular.
