RUN, DO NOT COME HERE!! This dermatologist is a rip off and terrible service. I wanted to do pico laser to remove my tattoed eye brows. I was told I need to do consultation first and that will be $150. I agreed as I know all doctors have this process. I went for consultation and she advised pico laser as I already know after doing my research. When came time to schedule app I told them the only day of the month I do can not make app is the second thursday of the month as this the day I have important meeting that I must attend. Guess what? They said we rent the tool and we just get second thursday of the month. If you want services you have to come only this day. I still try to compromise if they can do 6 pm so that I can come after work and they stated they dont have. I asked if they can schedule me to any other office if the tool is available any other day in other office. They said then you have to pay consultation fee of $150 again. Why paying another fee? you got the fee from me. You are giving me just one day of the month and i m not available that day, then you are telling me I have to pay another consultation fee if you schedule me to other office of the same company. Their office manager Danielle was rude and did not assist me. very unprofessional and rip off. I would never go there and will not recommend anyone. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Through their negligence my daughter suffered a serious head injury during a very simple procedure, requiring her to have to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. They will not return calls or e mails to pay the small hospital copay of $200 or the ambulance bill of $1070. Very small price to pay for what will now be a huge personal injury lawsuit. I've been coming to this dermatologist for a few years now, but after today I will be looking for services elsewhere. The customer service here is below average. I came in this morning and both receptionists continued their conversation and did not greet me with a simple "good morning" while I was at the desk. When I first started being a patient here, I had a wonderful NP who turned my face around for the better. Since she's left, every appointment I've had has been with a new doctor/NP. I don't appreciate this inconsistency because each time I'm forced to explain what has happened to my skin, instead of having a clinician who already knows my situation. My current treatment has not improved my skin. I honestly don't think any of the clinicians even care. read more

Beware of scammers !! I bought a lash enhancing product from them yesterday while seeing a nurse. I payed $192 for it and after I left I had to stop in Walgreens, and it made me sick to my stomach after I found out that the same product costs only $66 in the pharmacy. . So I called Princeton Dermatology Assoc right away they said there's nothing I could do bcz I already paid . They transferred me to the office manager - she transferred me to their business manager and of course I had to leave him a message. They don't have the guts to talk to me? Shame shame , I got scammed there once with dr Wrone doing laser on my face but still went back. I would never recommend that place to nooo one!!!! read more

Pros: They take my insurance, and it's very easy to get an appointment with them quickly. Also, their plastic surgeon Dr. David Wrone, is first rate. He removed a large infected cyst from my neck about a year ago, and the scar (it was right below my jaw line) is close to invisible, and will probably be 100% gone in another year or two. Cons: The reason it's so quick to get an appointment is that you'll never see an actual doctor there, just the M.A. (medical assistant). If you want to see the doctor, that's about a 1-2 month wait (in late June I was told not until August). I think this in turn leads to potentially bad advice, and things falling through the cracks. Example: during my last appointment, I thought that since a spot on the top of my thigh had become pink, then scabbed up, the exact same spot, multiple times, and since my dad died of malignant melanoma, that it might warrant concern. The M.A. (not a doctor) said it didn't look like a melanoma, that it was a skin "erosion", and prescribed a skin creme for 1 month, with a follow up in 2 months. The instructions right on the creme say if you don't see healing in 5 days, call your doctor. It IS healing, and I have the good sense to follow the more cautious of the 2 recommendations (the one on the product). But so many people will follow whichever advice sounds like the easier one, especially if it means they don't have to see a doctor again. The M.A. says apply this for a month and come back in 2 months. The makers of the skin creme say you should see healing in 5 days, if not maybe there's a problem. That says to me that the M.A.'s advice is potentially a recipe for letting skin cancers advance and perhaps metastasize. Thus, a recipe for deaths that could have been prevented, with more caring and more vigilance. I'll still use them to get something seen quick, and to get a quick prescription. But I will double check anything they say, because I think they just churn through the appointments quick as they can, to maximize the $. I don't think they really care that much if their approach costs a patient his life, once in a while. read more

Unbelievable. I made an appointment last week for today (the first availability they had). I called this morning to confirm the time and they told me they don't have me anywhere in their system and that they have no availability for the next month. Terrible service and clear incompetence. Will never go back and would definitely not recommend. read more

Twice I went and twice my time was wasted. The first appointment made was to have a cyst removed. I specifically told the women on the phone that I need a cyst removed. I was told no problem, quick procedure. Once there I was told by the PA I need to make another appointment to meet the surgeon and then a third appointment to have it removed. I work 70 hours a week so this is an issue for me. I agreed if they could do the consultation and removal the same day. I was told no problem. I return a week later for my appointment with Dr. Wrone to be told I don't have an appointment. After they looked harder, I was told I was scheduled for March 3, 2016 (only a year off). The staff couldn't care less. I will never return. read more

I love Dr Kaufman . Kind and gentle man. His PA is very pleasant too. I've seen Dr Wrone twice for minor surgeries. I go to Monroe and north Brunswick offices and never had any problem with the staff. I've known Kaufman almost 30 years now. I sent my kids and family to him. read more

DR KOMAL PATEL WAS SO RUDE TO ME. I go in a few minutes late and she's already rushing me inside for my appointment. When I'm about to receive an extraction she asks me if I've discontinued my medication 5 days prior. I say no, because no one informed me of this. She acts as though it is my fault, asking why I would do such a thing, and treats me very rudely for the duration of the appointment. How is it my fault when she clearly did not do her job in telling me the rules beforehand? She was extremely rude, pushy and overall I had a horrible time and will never in my life be going back to the North Brunswick office. Now my actual dermatologist on the other hand is very nice. In summation I will absolutely never set foot in the North Brunswick office again, but will continue with the Princeton office. Do not go the North Brunswick location, whatever you do. read more

I have been coming to the North Brunswick office for acne treatment for about 6 months and I am very happy with the practice. My appointments have always been prompt, the medical staff is great, and I have gotten fantastic results from their treatments. I can certainly recommend Princeton Dermatology. read more

Staff was extremely rude. I saw dr Kaufman 3 times (I never should have gone back after the first time). He acted like he did not care why I was there. He did not help me. There are so many reasons to rave about Princeton Dermatology in North Brunswick. Office that I can hardly list them all here. From the moment you walk in and meet the staff, to the actual consultation, it is clear that you are in excellent hands. Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Wrong all-encompassing skin care practice is simply the best. The office runs like a well-oiled machine, and I have to give that to Roni who is always kind and helpful with appointments and so organized. One of the things I appreciate most is the less-than-10 minute wait time promise. Komal is the best esthetician I have ever experienced. She is knowledgeable, caring and very gentle. I have sent several friends to the office, and all have thanked me profusely for pointing them in the right direction. You will not find a more caring, more professional, anywhere. You will not regret going to see a leader in the field of dermatology. And special kudos to Komal who is just exception esthetician. Your face will glow and your pores will shrink. This practice has gone downhill over the last few years. My son and I have been patients and as of today, we are leaving this practice. The staff moral is very low, the patient customer service is deplorable and often rude. Most of the staff, act like they just don't care about the patients. Although the practice is not managed well and lacking in many areas, our doctor was kind, caring and just wonderful, so, we were willing to endure. Today, we found out that our doctor (Dr. Choi) has now left the practice, which was the only reason we stayed. The staff was rude, did not try to get my son in to see another doctor, (since he was having a problem that couldn't wait) and they did not give out our doctor's new phone number. Fortunately, I was able to find this information out, on my own. Princeton Dermatology handled this very unprofessionally!! I am quite sure that many patients will be following us, as we leave this unprofessional, mismanaged and unfriendly practice to follow Dr. Choi to her new location. read more
