I checked out their hulfish location and had a pleasant experience buying authentic Smiskis at a great price. NO UPCHARGE for collectibles and that's sweet. They also have a lot in stock, very cool. Such a busy store with so much to look at, I personally think they should have a guest maximum in their shop... ( make people wait outside if it is full capacity) just due to how small the aisles are.. but that would take a lot of structure and employee help, but it seems as its a mom and pop shop with not much help.. Bought some cute San-X stickers , washi tape and extra hard to find plushie. I don't like to buy San-x items online because there tends to be a lot of fakes but this location sells the authentic brands with the license hologram sticker. The owners are very polite and appreciative of their customers. I love businesses that still support quality stationeries for planners for all ages. As a die-hard all things kawaii fan, this place jumped out to me. Sick of philly chinatown, I went in search of a new place to shop. Princeton is a nice area with metered parking like Philly. The shop itself is pretty small as you pass by it and even smaller inside. Outside the shop they have cute toy vending machines. Inside, they have a selection of Sanrio, San-X, Morning Glory, and Totoro, just to name a few. It's a bit of a hobby shop because they also carry some Magic the Gathering, Pokemon and Mario Bros. Definitely a place to check out for kawaii stationery, plushies, and cell phone accessories if you're around the area. read more

DO NOT ENTER. I went into the store with my girlfriend to look around. We had a good time up until I was scolded for taking pictures of the items for sale. I was persistently followed around the store by the owners who glared at me while I perused the merchandise. After being pursued for 10 minutes, I walked up to my girlfriend and audibly said "let's get out of this store. Now." The staff was very rude to the point of yelling at me in front of all the other customers for taking a photo when I didn't know about their policy and all they had to do was mention it to me but instead they resorted to yelling. They also followed me and my friends around making us needlessly uncomfortable. Their inventory while very cute is very overpriced. It seems a little pricey, but hey everything in the area is! The kids seem to like it and it's a great time waster. Before you buy anything, I would use a search engine to see if it's cheaper or available online. This is one of the last Morning Glory stores around me so it is a rarity. I love the wide variety of cute things this store offers. From Sanrio and Pokemon to more obscure characters like Gudetama and Toy Robot, you'll find something you think is adorable here. They have a large selection of pins, pens, stationary, and keychains. Definitely pricey so be prepared for that. I paid about $6 for a pair of Pokemon ankle socks. The aisles are kind of small so it's not a comfy place when packed. This is a good place to get ideas of what kind of cute things are available in other Asian countries. Love this store and the friendly Korean shop owners! I come here once in a while to buy origami paper. The shop owner comes by and hands me a basket to put my stuff in cause my hands are always full! It's also great to come here and buy little things to make grab bag presents for my friends! There are some nice stationary/office supplies and mini plushes for my girl friends. The aisles are a bit narrow to navigate, so it's best to visit early and/or on weekdays so that you're the only one in the store. read more

Price can be better. Maybe it's just me but I remember morning glory used to be a little cheaper. I believe if you do a price conversion this store is usually $1-2 over the MSRP. But since they are the only store in NJ, that's the price of doing business. I've always felt watched. With all the small, easily taken items that is somewhat justifiable. Shameful: The owners are taking advantage of shortages of certain toys during the pandemic and hiking up prices. Went to buy a small box of Legos to donate to Toys For Tots. I was so excited to visit this shop and left SO disappointed. I collect Pokemon and Rilakkuma and was happy to find a place where I could look at merchandise in person. As far as the actual products go there is a pretty good selection. They have a nice variety and lots of plush, many of which are on high shelves. There were a few I was looking at which had tush tags cut off (which is really weird). Lots and LOTS of bootleg Rilakkuma plush exist so I wanted to get a closer look. I was looking at it and looking for its tags when the woman behind the counter came over and told me the price. I told her I was trying to look at the tags and she got a disgusted look on her face, ROLLED HER EYES AT ME, and walked away. She went back to the counter and started talking to an older woman about me. I was annoyed but decided I'd look around a little more because I had been so excited to check the shop out. The older woman came over and started following me and my husband around. She then went back to the counter and started talking to the other woman about me again. It was one of the rudest encounters I have ever experienced as a customer. I was going to buy a few things but I was so uncomfortable that I just left. I have no idea why the employees at this shop were so incredibly rude. All I can imagine is they knew that I knew what bootleg plush were and didn't want me to figure it out. I urge anybody who wants to buy Japanese merchandise to look on the Internet instead and not give this shop your business. Possibly the rudest customer service experience I've ever had. It's indescribable. I gave this place so much business over the last year and just ignored the slightly rude and odd behavior. But the last one was too much. Owner acted like I was asking for her first-born child by asking to see (an expensive item!) up close before making a decision, and even asked me to leave. The assortment is awesome and the Customer service is terrific. I found a very hard-to-find collector's Monopoly here at a great price, but they only had it on the window display- behind a bunch of figurines and other collectibles. The employee not only got it for me, which was clearly extremely inconvenient and involved a ton of rearranging, but did so without a single sign of being anything other than totally glad to help. The women were very nervous around me and my 3-yo son, who caused a box to fall down (no damage), and a part of a toy truck to fall out. The young woman said it's broken so i offered to buy it. She didn't say anything. My son was upset since he didn't want that truck. When i looked at it, i saw it wasn't broken at all since i could attach that piece right back. A small shop in Princeton that's filled wall-to-wall with toys, games, stationary, and a bunch of other things. Since it's small it can be hard to navigate through everything, especially when other people are in the store. Seems like a great place to shop for Christmas gifts though! read more

The choices are almost infinite, with the entire store being full of plushies, stationery, and other asian things. The only big drawback are the prices. A small plushie can easily set you back $15, which is a bit overpriced. Maybe these are the import costs, but no normal plushie should cost this much. read more
