It clearly caters for older ladies, with a selection of functional and basic underwear. They also stock some uninspiring clothes and a lot of costume jewellery. It really isn't my cup of tea, but there is obviously a market for it in Cradley Heath. In all honesty, this shop makes me a bit as scared about getting old.

During the festive period the queues are absolutely horrendous so I would strongly advise doing any festive shopping at least a fortnight prior to christmas! There are around 5 tills though so it is a potentially well-manned store. I always find this store to be clean and tidy. The staff are usually helpful and they also have really nice modern changing rooms. If you like sitting on bright purple leather bean bags whilst trying on shoes that is. After a sale, it can get a bit untidy as clothes are left around on racks and become mixed up with all the different ranges (kids size, plus size etc) as well as the newer items. If you love New Look or just a fashion bargain then this is a great store to check out :)

They have all of the traditional stock that you'd associate with a small florists, but they also stock some more unusual flowers. I picked up some beautiful royal blue roses from here a few months back. The owner even took the time to explain how they make rose go blue (the stems are dipped in blue dye). They lasted for ages and got lots of comments from guests. The arrangements and bouquets always look stunning - it is clear that the lady who does the flower arranging has creative flare and a good idea of floral fashions. Prices are slightly steeper than supermarket flowers, but they offer something truly special that doesn't come with annoying "easy-peel" price tickets.

The lady on the phone (I'm assuming it was Antonia) was exceptionally pleasant and wonderful to work with. When our friend received her flowers, she sent a photo. The flowers were stunningly beautiful and a great value for the price. If ever we have the occasion to send flowers again to this region, we will certainly work through Antonia's Garden.
