This business specializes in sports moments and souvenirs, but he also does weddings throughout the year. My husband and I had a very negative experience in hiring Steve for our wedding photographer. On the day of the wedding, I had one of my bridesmaids call his cell as he hadn't shown up. He argued that the wedding ceremony was at 3 not noon, so due to being late, he missed all shots of capturing us getting ready before the ceremony. He showed up just as I and my wedding party were leaving to get into the limo. The entire wedding ceremony was shot from the choir loft. We had 2 videographers, which he mistook for photographers due to being late and us not having time to introduce him to them so he thought he would get the angle from up top and just zoom in. As such, the pictures of the wedding party and myself walking with my dads down the aisle are from behind (no face views). The photoshoot was very unorganized and lacked direction. During the reception we had Ukrainain dancers and once again, all the shots were taken from the band stage, from behind the dancers versus up front where the bridal party was sitting. The communication following to see our pictures and eventually receive our product was very unprofessional. He would state he would call us tomorrow (for example) and we would not hear from him. Mid December when it had been 14 months after our wedding and I wanted an update to our pictures he responded "its my busiest time of the year will call soon". We never heard and eventually had to walk into his store one day to get answers. The quality of the pictures are poor. Most are dark and the quality isn't crisp/crystal clear if you focus in on people's faces. We were told by Steve to go to London Drugs and just tell them to color correct our photos to bump up the quality or for the really dark pictures to just make them black and white. He admitted our pictures were "descent". When we questioned the poor communication and our frustration he stated he just got busy and lost interest in the project. He admits that he could have turned a negative into a positive and chose not to. He started new projects instead of finishing the old ones. If we had heard any complaints before the wedding we would have switched photographers. I had a gut feeling and I chose to ignore it but I hope this feedback will allow other people not to make the same mistakes. It's a day you cannot get back and is the worst experience associated with our wedding. In hiring a photographer 1) check/ call references, don't just look at some of the work 2) always trust your gut

As a new home owner I was not familiar with the process and the level of demand it would take even months after. I can only speak of one particular lawyer and his office at Stillman so I am unsure if the other lawyers offer the same level of service. As a new buyer and customer I thought I was going to be provided education on what to expect and how to manage without the process being stressful. The lawyer's assistant of this office was the main issue with my experience. It is fascinating how one component of customer service can ruin the entire experience. The assistant is dismissive, inconsiderate and rude. The in person experience started with reviewing documents and signing the documents for the property purchase. Communication via email is done up to this time. The assistant is quite short both via email and phone call. My main issue started after I took possession. It started with the seller requesting me to pay back some funds they over paid. Not my fault, but decided to help. The lawyer's Assistant sent me an email saying to go to the bank and get a certified check. This is an inconvenience to me both in time and financially since I had to take time off work to get the check mailed to the seller. However, I wanted to get it all done and cut ties with the seller. The experience did not end there. The seller then reached out through the Lawyer's assistant again months after taking possession to request I sign a document due to an overpayment in property taxes. Again not my fault. The assistant contacting me and sounded quite demanding to just sign and complete the process promising again that the process would end after that. I at this point am stressed, feel disrespected and insulted because yet again my lawyer's office is dismissing me and acting like I am not a valuable customer. The Assistant went even out of her way to demand that I sign the documents saying "just a signature". However, my experience so far has been awful with her and the office so I pushed back. I asked them to end these ties with the seller and get them to fix their own issue not on my time or money. The Assistant then referred me to the lawyer because I was being difficult. The lawyer then called me to discuss in a calm way and explain the process. I shared my frustration with the service I was getting. We made the decision that we would stop the process and let the seller handle it. One month passes and the lawyer is calling me yet again about the same issue. I have had enough at this point and decided to end the process by authorizing him to sign the document. I then request that my Lawyer's office never contact me again. In summary, make sure your lawyer's office knows about your needs and stand up to yourself. As a customer you deserve some kind of respect. I unfortunately did not get that here.
