Each of these reviews warned me of the shady business practices of this dental office. Complaints of high pressure tactics, unnecessary treatments and unauthorized charges should have been red flags for me. Please read on and don't make the same mistake that several of us have made. I met with Dr. Mardirossian, and he seemed professional. However, when I was instructed to meet with his office manager, Monique it literally felt like I was dealing with a used car salesperson. A previous reviewer mentioned the infamous negotiation room. The tactics she used were shady at best. She first tried to sell me on their "savings plan", which costs $780 for the year and it clearly designed to improve their profits at the detriment of the patient. I didn't trust her at all, and therefore I asked her to send a written proposal for the work to be completed. She did email me a written complete proposal for a total cost of $6348.20. Although this price was high, I agreed to have them do the work. At this point we had a legally binding contract. We had a firm offer in writing to do the work, we had my acceptance and we had mutual consideration. I work for a law firm and this was definitely a binding contract between Dr. Mardirossian and myself. Then half way through the treatment plan, the Dr. told me the next step was a CT Scan so they could create a guide for him to do the dental implants. I told him that as long as the guide was part of the contract, we can proceed. He told me to check with Monique who was not available. Monique called me a few days later to charge me $795 more for this guide!! What happened to our contract? Why are they breaching our written cost agreement and contract, by trying to extort more money from me? I complained to her and Dr. Mardirossian and they refused to honor our contract. Then, Monique calls me to ask for permission to charge my credit card $1266! She explained that she made a mistake and forgot to charge me as the previous work was done. I denied her permission to charge my card until we resolved this dispute. Later that same day, they ignored my refusal for the charge to be made to my credit card and charged the entire amount! One last thing, Monique and Mardirossian pressured me to agree to a controversial procedure called L-PRF = $1,714. I didn't want this optional procedure, wherein he used my own blood to supposedly speed up the healing process. However, I succumb to their pressure tactics and agreed. The day of the extractions, and L-PRF procedure Mardirossian struggled to even withdraw blood from my arm and the whole process was a joke. Four months later and the area was still not fully healed. What a rip-off! Please consider this review and others just like it, and think about whether you can trust this dental office and their shady business tactics.

Dr. was said to be in-network re: my insurance, but I later found out he was not. He was riding on…read morethe coat tails of his mother, who was a dentist and in-network with my insurance. While in the reclining dental chair, I was given a contract to sign indicating a ridiculous amount for a crown, which I thought would largely be covered by the insurance. Later, I found out the Dentist was no longer in network, and I had to pay a larger amount for services than if he was in network. He never disclosed to me that he was no longer in-network. A family member had a similar insurance issue, which is deceitful and unethical practice. I later contacted the office manager numerous times to find out if the Dr. was working on being in-network with my insurance company. The office manager did not return any of my calls or texts. Months later, I called to find out why I hadn't been contacted regarding an upcoming dental cleaning and I was told there is no cleaning scheduled. It is my belief that the office manager unilaterally removed me from the scheduled visit and did not notify me. I was given another date for teeth cleaning and was told by office staff that she would look into the previous scheduling issue and get back to me which she did not. Today, I went to my scheduled teeth cleaning appointment and was told that the teeth cleaning was not today. Prior to speaking to the assistant, I saw the office manager enter the door, much after the office opened. She was dressed unprofessionally and did not acknowledge me and seemed to avoid me, allowing the dental assistant to help me. The dental assistance, who took my call weeks before, made excuses as to why she did not get back to me regarding the previous scheduling issue. When I was told my appointment did not exist, I explained that this was unacceptable and the numerous incidents with this office was unprofessional. The assistant referred me to the office manager, who was out of sight the whole time I was speaking to the assistant. The office manager, who at the time was hiding around the corner in the office appeared in front of me and I explained to the office manager, that I was upset that she never returned my calls or texts regarding the insurance issue. She replied that she did, and I explained that I never received any returned call or texts. She continued to speak to me in an unprofessional manner and kept stating she emailed me back. I told her to have the Doctor, contact me regarding my concerns but as of yet I have not received a call from the Doctor. In my opinion the office manager is rude, less than honest, and the issues that I've experienced with this office is unprofessional and deceitful.
