Had a 9 am appointment for an OIL CHANGE. I arrived at 8:23. The Vehicle was complete at 11:35. I Finally picked up my 4 Runner at 12:43. Trying to find the Service Advisor was not easy, she was always away from her desk ( Tera Samone) Here's the problem. She never contacted me when my vehicle was complete. 1. I Had an appointment that took way too long. To them, my time is not important, 2. I had to keep checking on the $runner with a different advisor, the one I was assigned, she was always gone. Who goes to lunch at 10 AM? 3. My Truck sat in the complete lane for over an hour. It would have been set longer if I didn't check on it myself. I'm done with using Priority Service Customer service is not a concern of the business. I wasted a day in the service area, had a 9 AM appointment for an oil change, and arrived at 8:23 AM. My vehicle was not completed until 11:35 AM, and I finally picked up my 4Runner at 12:43 PM. Finding my service advisor, Tera Samone, was difficult as she was often away from her desk. Additionally, she never contacted me when my vehicle was finished. Here are my main concerns: WASTED A DAY 1. I have chosen to move forward with the extended warranty after all, advised due to being a new truck owner. Priority Toyota went above and beyond to rectify the external blemishes on the truck in order to make a new customer happy. Dropped my car off at 845am for an inspection & oil change. I called to check in on my vehicle at 1 to which was told "it's ready, I just need to speak to your advisor" I called back at 130 still could not get ahold of my "advisor" but was told again that the update states my vehicle is ready. I show up at 150. I see my advisor and he says my vehicle is not ready it's amazing because as soon as I show up my txt message updates start telling me what's going on with my vehicle & it's crazy because 5+ hrs later NOTHING had been done to my vehicle. Only when I showed up they started working on my vehicle. Also not stated was I made an appt. 1-2 weeks prior. I was informed had I waited in the lobby my car would have been inspected sooner, but then told me that it's first come first serve? So which is it? The service advisors at this location leave a lot to be desired. I genuinely feel like they don't care. I had to return my vehicle for service because an alignment wasn't done properly and I've been waiting over three hours . It's not even three hours that's frustrating. It's lack of communication. When I complained to my service advisor, she informed me that she called and left one message. I didn't get that message, but I did stop by the desk and ask again how much longer and she said 30 minutes. Over an hour passed and I returned to the desk to ask again. No apology just an attitude and defensive 'he's trying to get it right'. I'm giving you guys a one star rating not because it took too long. You get the one star rating because of a complete inability to handle customers and communicate. Honestly, I think my service advisor needs a ton of training in how to handle customers, but that's been a consistent experience in the few times I have been here. I have to get my oil changed here both because it's free (I purchased new from a Priority dealer) and because part of the warranty is dependent on it. Rip off ALERT!!! They wasted a few hours of my evening. After agreeing to buy a new Sienna at sticker price, they came back with paperwork adding an $8k "Market Adjustment". This is shameful that Toyota allows this to happen when it's not supposed to be allowed. I should be able to buy the same identical vehicle at any Toyota dealership in the area at the same price unless upgrades were added or requested which wasn't the case. Hall Toyota in Virginia Beach had the same Sienna and honored the sticker price without an $8k adjustment. Yes the Sienna is hard to get, but be transparent about your prices and don't try and gouge me. In fact someone else got the same Sienna with only $1k markup, and you suggested I offer that and still came back to me with $8k over retail. First after telling them I was waiting they put the appointment as a drop off and I had to wait 4.5 hrs! By far the worst car buying experience we have EVER had. We have purchased FIVE cars from Priority (4 of them being from Ryan Langen) and will NEVER use him or Priority Toyota again. Ryan Langen was such a genuine and helpful salesman when he was at Priority Lexus however his lack of concern with customer satisfaction and happiness with the product was lacking since being at Toyota. Requesting to speak with the GM Nick Mumejian is like trying to get a bill passed in congress. Dan Sears was nothing but rude from trying to get us to pay a 10k Market Adjustment and him not understanding we weren't going to do that and being super pushy about it. Rob Brascoe told us that he didn't have to talk to us, and we could call the corporate office and good luck. To spend thousands of dollars and to be treated and talked to the way that we were is pretty alarming not to mention the blank document that was in my paperwork that had verbiage filled in AFTER getting a signature on it. We went on a short test drive, and we purchased a 2023 Highlander on June 19th at 945 PM Ryan Langen, the salesman dropped it off in my driveway and took the car I was trading in. The next morning at 11:12 AM I had texted the salesman I HATED the car and wanted to know what we could do. He asked me to come in so he could personalize the settings for me and try to keep me in that vehicle. I still HATED it. The options given to me were to keep it and learn to like it because I negotiated such a "good deal", or the salesman told me to see what another dealership would give me for it and trade it that way. I was back the next day after going to 2 other dealerships and spoke with Ron the used car manager. He told me that I could trade the vehicle in for something else that they just couldn't move brand new inventory from another lot. He put me with Keith (super nice guy, wanted to help but management made it hard). I asked if I could buy my old car back and they wouldn't even do that! The used car manager said everything was processed and the loan was funded. Keep in mind this was all in a 24-hour period of time. I go home and look through all the inventory find 3 cars that I am interested in. I go back, see Ryan Langen and tell him the three cars I was interested in; he goes to management, and they tell him they won't move any inventory from other locations I HAVE to pick something from that lot. I repeat to him that Ron told me otherwise, and Ryan got loud with me on the sales floor telling me these are the options I had to choose from and that came from Nick Mumejian. I asked to speak to him and was told he would tell me the same thing. Never saw him in the finance bubble or spoke to him. The two biggest purchases people make in their life are their house and their car. This whole situation could have been handled differently especially since the paperwork hadn't even had time to be processed and we were back at the dealership within 12 hrs. Everytime I come here for maintenance I have an issue. I have found that I cannot trust the Technicians or some of the individuals at the service desk. I should not have to check anyone's work. I should not have to lift the hood and check to see if they have topped off my fluids! I have the name of the female I talked to for the appointment. She gave me an appointment time of 11:30am. I arrived at 11:15. I was told I was a no show for 8:30am! They are completely incompetent here! I have other complaints as well but I want to keep this concise! The service advisor I had today was horrible! A complete liar! I sat for an extra 90 minutes because I wasn't called or texted! She claimed she called twice and left two voicemails so I looked at my phone and asked her when she called and from what number. She then insisted that there was a bad connection! Absolute liar! My phone didn't have any incoming calls for hours! The technicians don't care about your vehicle either! You have to ask a million questions and look at your paperwork closely. Absolute WORST experience with the Priority Service Department. To be fair, Sean Y. the service advisor was apologetic - but it wasn't his fault. I scheduled a 12 noon Saturday appointment to replace a headlight and get a VA State Inspection on my Tacoma. I arrived at 11:30. I sat in line for a half hour in my truck until they finally checked me in at noon. I then waited 4.5 hours before they even looked at my truck! I tried to call the service dept from the waiting room to get an update on my status, (because there was a LONG line at the counter of customers still waiting to be seen). After 15 minutes on hold, I was told that my service advisor would get back to me but he was with a customer.... Well, they didn't get back to me until they finally started working on my truck. Got done at 5:20. Nearly 6 HOURS after arriving there! What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you sit there FOR HOURS while they do nothing!? I would suggest they that they stop overbooking service appointments if they don't have enough techs to do the work. Oh - as an added bonus: when the advisor asked a tech to go get my truck and drive it back to the dealership for me to leave, he starts waving and yelling at me from way across the lot to come pick up my truck. They give you different information based on who you speak with they promise things and don't hold to their word. I had to go to the dealership three different times for the same situation and all three times had to leave with the issue, not resolved on a brand new card that I just bought from them a year ago. Where do I begin? I scheduled an appointment for 11:30am today and dropped my car off the night before to be safe. However, when I arrived at 4:30pm to check on my car I was told nothing had been done. The reason given to me for this was because I needed an inspection. Apparently they only let one person touch a car and they only had one inspection employee on duty. Not my problem, but of course I was never contacted and told that nothing on my car would be done because of this inspection. If I would've been given this kindness, I gladly would've opted to skip it. It seems after looking at other reviews this is an ongoing trend here. The lack of customer service and productivity is clearly terminal and a serious re-evaluation of the training and management needs to happen. When I bought my car here they used the "free oil changes and state inspections" as a selling point. Now I am seeing the real selling point should be never having to deal with the train-wreck that is their service section. I took my 2019 Avalon to Priority at the direction of Toyota Corporate after having issues (3 breakdowns within a few months). Prior to taking my vehicle, I replaced the battery, which I thought corrected the issue. After dropping off my car, I received a call from the service advisor and told the negative terminal connector was frayed/damaged. My Dad owned service stations and I know about cars. I knew when I changed the battery that the connectors were in good condition (the car had approx. 25K miles on it at the time). I then received a video from the service manager saying the connector would no longer tighten on the post. It clearly wasn't frayed/damaged. He showed me the loose connector and turned it back and forth. That morning prior to taking the vehicle to Priority, I checked everything to make sure it would start etc...and the connector wasn't loose. When I dropped off the car, I told the service advisor and service manager to save any parts for me. Of course, they said they would. I went to pick up my car, paid approx. $150.00 and confirmed with the service advisor the "broken" part was on the passenger floor. Just as I was pulling from the dealership, I looked down to confirm the broken part was there. It wasn't. I reached out to the service advisor to which she responded, she would look into it. I never heard back from her. Corporate contacted me as follow-up and I advised what occurred. I was asked if I'd like to pursue the matter further. I told him to go online and read customer reviews then he can decide if Toyota Corporate cares to look into Priority's bottom of the barrel reputation. I know for a fact that they scammed me. The connectors were perfectly fine. There must've been a quick fix but, they needed to make a few bucks from my car being at their facility. A note to everybody: Should you have issues with sales/service etc....reach out to VA DMV. They oversee & investigate dealerships and repair shops. If you file a complaint, they'll work on your behalf to resolve the issue if they choose to investigate the matter. I know this because I've been a Fraud Investigator for the past 24 years....I doubt all of these unfavorable reviews are just coincidence. read more

We just purchased a vehicle yesterday. We drove it home and today we are told it needs to be safety checked, please return it. Why do you sell a pre-owned car that hasn't been safety checked? It was washed, cleaned, priced, out on the sales lot, and not safety checked? And now it won't be ready until the following day? Now we have to cancel a personal appt to go get the car tomorrow. If I could give zero I would. 5 hours for a tire rotation and state inspection. Inspection fails due to one tire with a gash. Too expensive to fix here so I go somewhere else. I come back when they open and I'm told it won't be long since they just have to look at the tire. I've been here 3 hours now. For one tire and a sticker. I brought my car in for the latest recall involving software. I have never had my car serviced at Priority Toyota, but my coworker Mariah recommended I bring it there since I don't like Checkered Flag as she bought her trucks from them and was getting her recall done there. The woman on the phone was very polite when I called to set it up. When I got there, I thought my appointment was for 8:30am, but it was for 8. The first tech I spoke with was super nice about me being late since I didn't realize it and they took photos of my car and brought me inside where I was delivered to Bob. Bob was super nice in checking that I was only getting my recall done and let me know that they would call me when it was done. I was in and out in under 15 minutes with my ride waiting outside. A few hours later, I received a call from Bob that I was ready. Went and signed some stuff to get my car back and Bob had a service tech bring my car around in which they then offered a free quick vacuum. I appreciated that little touch even though I don't get service through them. Will definitely bring my car back here for recall services. Process was quick and easy. read more

When i bought my car at this dealer, they used back room high pressure sales tactics to try to sell me unnecessary EXPENSIVE bs add ons. The nice friendly salesman disappeared. They all but locked me in the room to get me to buy "undercoating" & other nonsense. No straight answers to my questioning the Toyota warranty for a NEW car & my wanting to know why i would need the protections that they suggested would be disastrous to skip. ALSO: that "free" oil change service for life deal Priority provides is misleading and leads to problems. It's free at 10,000 miles or 12 month intervals, which is FAR greater than the manufacturer recommends AND they lie. I now know that this deal is designed for suckers like me because the oil burns out and slowly but surely ruins engine parts far far sooner than a regular 5k change. In fact, 5k is programmed in to the electronic reminders installed in the car: "OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" comes on every 5k miles. Priority says, FALSELY, that because they use synthetic oil, it's fine until 10k. Finally, their service department schedules appointments for service BUT DO NOT EVEN REMOTELY KEEP ON SCHEDULE. My son made an appointment with one of the salesman, but when we showed up, another salesman approached my son and told him that the person was on vacation. It is a dog eat dog dealership. I discouraged him from going there because i purchased a 2009 Camry and ordered the aftermarket tinting. After 4 years, it started bubbling, and had been talking to them about fixing it and nothing happened. The 2009 Camry have a lifetime oil change and inspection, and whenever i make an appointment for it, i am not treated as a customer should be treated. I felt like they want me to buy a new car, since i already have 170k miles in my vehicle. My inspection is December; 3 months away 5. 4 cylinder tune up $184.12 a total of $881.50 Why would I approve this? NEVER asked me for concent. 3 day later the same ligh back on; my only reason for bring it in; in the first place after waiting 5 hours. The senson in the tire was $300.00 could have bought a new tire. After my 5 hour wait I texed the advisor and then anothe advisor called me back Bonnie A La Row had left for the day if I had not texed her no telling how long I would have been there. Two days later it was NOT DONE so I took my vehicle somewhere else and done inn30 minutes. Today was for an oil change and routine maintenance 4 hours later and still here. This place is awful. I had a terrible experience and when I came on here to leave a review and saw that this place had 2 stars I completely understood why. I came in to pick up my car from an oil change and for some reason it was extremely difficult. There were so many workers behind the counter yet no one wanted to help me. Multiple people rolled their eyes at me and the person that finally decided to help me was holding 3 conversations while trying to talk to me. It was extremely noisy but when you looked around no one was doing anything. What should've taken 10 minutes took 30. Someone needs to get their workers in check. I had a phenomenal experience here working with Giuseppe! He was great, knowledgable, and friendly. He didn't make us feel pressured and he was very patient with us. We ended up coming up with a deal late one evening and he was at the dealership with us until midnight to make sure we could drive away that night. We had visited RK and Hall dealerships previously and I am glad Priority was our last stop so we could appreciate the difference. The whole dealership staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a lot of perks that sound nice, but honestly I doubt I will actually use. When I took my car in for the paint and leather protection I did take advantage of their shuttle service to take by back to my house. The driver was great company! Again though, one of the most influential factors was how comfortable we felt here. After feeling uneasy at several dealerships before it was refreshing to not have the added pressure at this dealership. One of the places I went before coming here wouldn't even talk to me, they were only interested in my husband... even though we told them it would be my car. When I went back to test drive without my husband I felt like I was bothering them. I am very thankful I didn't have the same uneasy feelings at priority with Giuseppe. Went here knowing exactly what car I was looking for with a very specific budget in mind. I wanted a NEW 2022 4runner. My salesman was named Joey Balsamo and he immediately was on selling me a used car. Not what I had in mind. The pricing for the 2019 starts at the same price as the 2022 model. I'm not paying a new price for a used car. Absolutely not. We ended up gravitating to the newer model on the lot and I was able to drive with Joey being very short the entire ride and texting on his phone. I didn't even really know the roads well but besides the point, I would have thought for sure he'd use the test drive time to sell me on the unique features. I felt majorly judged and unworthy. After we got back from the test drive he immediately wanted to talk numbers. I never even got to look at the interior of the vehicle. Once discussing numbers the price just kept adding, almost $10k over what I wanted and the numbers were still adding. A family member I was with mentioned Kelly Bluebook for the average rate this car runs and Joey was super disrespectful and snapped "They don't sell cars though." There were other more customer friendly ways to disagree. He pulled up other car websites to show where they base their prices off at Toyota Priority and made sure to filter the website from highest to lowest pricing as if I wouldn't notice. Then told us this is where the pricing starts. What a joke. The additional money added to the estimate of the vehicle I wanted made no sense. I'm understanding that there may be additional fees but it just kept going and going like the Energizer bunny. One of the main points in conversations is that I needed a car now. I had no transportation going into this experience as my car broke down. Joey wanted to put me on a wait-list for several months for this car since they did not currently have it on the lot. He suggested this knowing this essential information that I need transportation.. now. Im not going to put money down without the chance of seeing the car as a whole and I'm not waiting because I have a job to get back and forth to. As a car salesman, he could've recommended a car on the lot more in my budget that I could go home with sooner. Accommodation. I would've been open to discussion but that didn't happen. All in all with the snarkiness and price, I went elsewhere and got my car the same day for the price I needed. Today Dan Sears reached out to me about my experience and I straight up said it wasn't a great experience. Their response to me was that Joey was one of their best salesmen. Then they had Joey call me himself. What kind of childish game is this to have the problem person contact me? I'd expect a manager to contact me, I wasn't able to get info on the car from him to begin with, why would he be the one to fix the issue now? read more
