Prism Boutique is like shopping in my fantasy closet. The store is full of beautiful clothing (dresses being my favorite) and the jewelry is amazing. Prism is clean, spacious, gorgeously decorated and allows their goods to really shine. Definitely the place to shop for unique jewelry (both vintage and new) and they stock labels I can usually only find online. Dayna, the owner, is super friendly, helpful, and is my new style icon. I really had a Good time at Prism boutique today. I was looking for a Valentine's sexy dress and they didn't have what I was looking for. The owner and girls were very nice and complimentary. So why the 3 stars? This has got to be one of the most expensive boutiques I have been in and I have shopped boutiques in Newport Orange County to melrose to beverlyhills. Im a retro row shopper I love goldies and eleve and other trendy long beach boutiques. I love shopping boutiques because you get 1 of a kind pieces .. But when some items are very cheaply made with poor fabrics and stitching busting from the seams of 88 dollar stretch ( not real denim) jeans you gotta think hmm..what's the deal with the cheap threads priced at 100 dollars and over? Everything is so expensive EVerything!.. Even with a 20 percent off its still overly priced. Now granted I know boutiques are costly but even the tshirts are way overpriced.I usually spend 200-300 in boutiques but when every item is 150 or 118 for a nylon dress or poorly stiched dress or a top that looks like a rag or 75 dollar for a tiny bendable metal ring ..a red flag goes up in my head.When boutique shopping you want pieces that will last in your wardrobe so quality was missing for me In some of there clothes. It's a really pretty shop and I wish them the best I just wish I could have spent some money I just dropped $113 at Goldies on 4th for 3 clothing items and 2 pieces of jewlery with awesome boutique quality. I was kinda disappointed in the prices at Prism. There competition is twig and Willow they basically have the same pricing with similar esthetic ..I did enjoy looking at the jewlery I like some of the handmade pieces and I do understand the craftsmanship that goes into making one of a kind pieces and having experience in retail I understand why some items are so expensive but I do think giving the location they should cater more to the demographic and not just online sales. I will keep my eye out for a sale that's worth it. read more

Prism Boutique is not just a women's clothing boutique -- it's a super-chic explosion of bohemian awesomeness filled to the brim with stuff I never knew I needed so badly. There are popular clothing brands like Free People and BB Dakota but also a bunch independent and upcoming designers -- it feels great to get a compliment on something I got at Prism and be able to respond, "Oh, it's this brand from Australia." Their jewelry is a ridiculously gorgeous collection of new and vintage stuff in all price ranges, with a bunch of locally made pieces mixed in. The shop is clean, spacious and just plain gorgeous. There's a ton of stuff to browse but it doesn't feel crowded or stuffy, or that I'm going to turn around and knock something over with my giant purse. I tried on a bunch of stuff in this really neat dressing room and even though there were other customers in the store, the owner Dayna was helping me with getting different sizes, trying new styles and telling me what she liked the entire time. You can tell Dayna really put her heart into stocking nothing but beautiful clothing and jewelry - she has impeccable taste and it shows in just about everything about this place. I do not have what you would call a "slender physique," and Dayna is great at helping me pick pieces that are right for my body. I usually don't like to shop but I could easily spend two hours here, and it's awesome that it's in Long Beach! read more

Prism Boutique is new and so much fun to shop. I've already went back to get some jewelry I was obsessing about. I love everything about this super cute store! The store is filled with so many awesome things from unique, cool, fashionable clothes to beautiful jewelry. The shop has a lot of things made by local artisans and designers. I saw them through Instagram. I fell in love with a pair of boots and finally took the plunge and ordered them. They were more expensive than I usually pay. However, I couldn't get them off my mind. I ordered them in black. I received the package faster than I anticipated. When I opened the box they were in brown. It was easy to get ahold of someone. Chanel helped me with fast pace. She was extremely customer oriented and apologized for the mistake. She assured me I did not have to pay for shipping and I would have the boots for an engagement I wanted to wear them for. Normally I would take to Twitter to give a shout-out for stellar support, but since that's not an option I'll leave a review here! I ordered a few things during a flash sale. It arrived SUPER quick (added bonus) but there was a small marker/pen mark on my shirt. A few quick emails to their support team and even though it was final sale, they gladly sent me a return label for the damaged item. It was above and beyond what I expected and it was all done in such a kind + swift manner. I can't sing their support praises enough. I can't believe it took me so long to make my way to this lovely boutique! Everything they sell is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for disposable fashion, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking to discover some beautiful pieces that you'll want to wear all of the time, then you should definitely stop by. Everything I've purchased here has become an immediate favorite. This is basically where I go when I want to treat myself! In fact, when my sis comes into town we usually head on over because it is a favorite of both of ours. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was out in Long Beach, California for a friend's wedding and I had about an hour to do my own thing. Read online that Prism is a stockist of Spell and the Gypsy Collective so I was excited to get to this store. They did not disappoint. Lots of Spell and the saleswoman even went into the back and brought out the brand new Spell items that hadn't been put on shelves yet!! In the end I bought one dress (Spell is expensive) and an adorable gold ring from a local artisan that I have yet to take off!! I bought many Spell pieces online and love the style of clothing offered. Last month a bought a dress online but returned it in store to try on other pieces. I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The shoes I wanted weren't in stock, but they were able deliver them promptly to me via mail. Don´t get me wrong, the store is beautiful. They have a great selection of jewelry, home goods, stationary, etc. It is really fun just to walk around the store. However, 80% of the time I come in here the customer service is just not what it should be. I was once the only customer in the store, and the employees AND the owner all sat talking at the register like I wasn´t trying to buy something. They hadn´t said anything to me while I was in the store either. I almost walked out, and I regret even buying anything. After a long time of standing there invisible, I was able to buy my item. But not even acknowledgement from even the owner? Seeing the other reviews on here I see I am not the only one that has been treated like that.
