During the reinstallation, I was told that the visible waves in the windshield tint would eventually disappear. Unfortunately, they never did, even after a full year. I finally brought the vehicle back and, after several conversations, the owner explained that the large front windshield on a Tesla Model X is particularly challenging to tint. To his credit, he offered to try again and kept my vehicle for a few days. When I picked it up, the windshield looked much better, and I was genuinely happy with the results. However, about a month later, the same wave patterns began to reappear. While I appreciate the owner's willingness to address the issue and stand behind his work, the final result still did not meet my expectations.

I've been searching for a new PPF installer since ordering the '26 Juniper Performance 3-4 months…read moreago. I've previously tried 4 different shops for different projects, I've also done a few full DIY pre-cut PPF installs myself. But when it comes to "seamless" installation, theres a level of skill that's required and there's just not that many installers that can do the job. After carefully looking at some of their work, I ended up having WRAPSTARS do the job. Sienna's work is amazing, she's very patient and detailed, and every line that could be tucked is fully tucked, and anything that couldn't be tucked, she'd cut it into the edge. Out of the 10+ shops I've called before them, they all say they couldn't wrap the trunk spoiler section one piece, or the mirror has to have a visible seam. While they claim it's not possible, I'd say it's a skill issue.

They will remove the tint for free AND install a different shade if you like.
