In 2024, I brought my Tesla Model X in for a vehicle wrap and front windshield tint. After picking up the car, I noticed the tint was not properly adhered in the passenger area, so I returned to have it corrected. During the reinstallation, I was told that the visible waves in the windshield tint would eventually disappear. Unfortunately, they never did, even after a full year. I finally brought the vehicle back and, after several conversations, the owner explained that the large front windshield on a Tesla Model X is particularly challenging to tint. To his credit, he offered to try again and kept my vehicle for a few days. When I picked it up, the windshield looked much better, and I was genuinely happy with the results. However, about a month later, the same wave patterns began to reappear. While I appreciate the owner's willingness to address the issue and stand behind his work, the final result still did not meet my expectations.

I've previously tried 4 different shops for different projects, I've also done a few full DIY pre-cut PPF installs myself. But when it comes to "seamless" installation, theres a level of skill that's required and there's just not that many installers that can do the job. After carefully looking at some of their work, I ended up having WRAPSTARS do the job. Sienna's work is amazing, she's very patient and detailed, and every line that could be tucked is fully tucked, and anything that couldn't be tucked, she'd cut it into the edge. Out of the 10+ shops I've called before them, they all say they couldn't wrap the trunk spoiler section one piece, or the mirror has to have a visible seam. While they claim it's not possible, I'd say it's a skill issue.

They have a nice office where you can easily see the different levels of tint, as well as a super cool demonstration box where you can feel the difference in heat (IR) blocking. He was also very informative when it came to giving advice on what's popular, as well as advice on night time driving, after care for the tint, best practices on cleaning, and anything else you can think of. I was planning on getting the mid-tier tint, but after using the demonstration box, I decided to upgrade to the XR Plus, which has even better IR blocking. Logan TRANSFERRED the price match discount, which I got for the mid-tier tint, to the higher one! They also offer a very generous one-time insurance payment that covers you if you get a ticket. They will remove the tint for free AND install a different shade if you like. All in all, I had an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at Evolve, and I really feel like I got not just the best price, but also the best service. I saw this business online and took a chance and got some work done from these guys. They were super nice, communicative, and offered superb service. They recommended I just get the front PPF service done so it's more budget friendly and the other sides of the car isn't as necessary. I thought it was perfect. I hit them up on a Tuesday for a quote, got a reply within an hour. I liked it and dropped off the car Wednesday morning. They were already super busy and quoted me late Friday to pick up the car. It was cutting it short because I had a wedding to attend Saturday morning, and they finished Thursday night! I wasn't available to come in before closing time & they waited for me. Who does that?
