ABSOLUTE worst rental company I've ever dealt with. How does it take 10+ days and 4 visits to fix a…read moreclogged dryer vent? 1. I had an issue with my dryer. Turns out, a bird flew in through the vent and then got stuck and destroyed my dryer. That was $250. It got stuck because the exhaust vent is over 30 foot long. That is something that Tricon should've fixed long ago. We have had to have this dryer vent sucked out at least once every nine months since we have lived here. We have lived here for six years. 2. Tricon scheduled to come fix it and then rescheduled. That's one day off work. So the equivalent of $400 or 1 day of PTO burned on my part. 3. Tricon tech comes out and stayed 4 minutes before telling me they can't work over 6 feet above the ground. What do you mean?... it's your house. How do you not know that the dryer vent is over 6 feet in the air? That's another $400 and another day of PTO burned, for me. 4. Outside vendor gets assigned and comes out 3 days later. Outside vendor takes pictures, stays for 10 minutes and says that they have to get the work approved or they don't get paid. That's another $400 and yet another day of PTO burned, for me. Did I mention I only get 10 days of PTO a year?... that's almost half wasted on Tricon's nonsense SOP's!! 5. I have to go to the laundromat to do my laundry because even though my dryer is fixed, I can't run it for fear of setting the house on fire! You would think that would be an emergency when it is a fire hazard. That's $25 a visit, with all of my laundry. 6. Now they are saying that the quote from the outside vendor is under review for approval and I probably won't hear back until Monday afternoon. So I am looking at another $400 and another day of PTO that I have to burn for ridiculous, outdated, arbitrary, just plain stupidity SOP's and lack of customer service. I've spent over 3 hours on hold with Tricon with this issue. It's cost me over $2,000 with either PTO days that should have been mine, maintenance repairs of my own appliances, and laundromat fees. And NOW I have to wait for the outside vendor to come and finally fix the issue.

RE/MAX Centerstone

RE/MAX Centerstone

I put my home on the market in June with Joe Pritchett with Remax Centerstone as my realtor and his…read morewife Angie as a back up (she had recently gotten her license). From the beginning it was difficult to get in contact with Joe as his first job is as a firefighter so he was unavailable much of the time. He had us price our house way over what was realistic and said we would see what feed back we received. Well, needless to say, the feed back was poor. All prospective buyers said the house was overpriced and not what they were looking for. I asked Joe about staging the house. We had already moved so the house was empty and I always heard a staged house was important to the selling process. He said it wasn't important. I then asked why we weren't having any open houses. Again he said it wasn't important. I asked that flyers be put out with the for sale sign - he promised to do it but never did.Three times we lowered the price but had very little activity because he would list the home but do nothing to further sell the house. The final straw was when we stopped by the house to mow the lawn and a potential buyer came up to us and said they had tried to contact Joe from the number on the sign and the number was unavailable. She then called the other number (his wife's which was listed as well on the sign) and his wife stated she was at a baby shower and was busy. The next day I called Joe and said I would no longer be using him as my realtor. I remained calm and explained my reasoning. He then proceeded to curse me and told me to stuff the house up my ass as he didn't want to sell it anyways. He said he would be watching to see who I got to replace him as my realtor and would try to get them in trouble with the Indiana Realtor's Association. I said to just send me the release of contract paperwork so we could get this over with. He sent me the wrong form and then had the nerve to try and get me to sign price agreements that should have been signed earlier. I'm not sure how he handled that (I think I know!) because there were many forms I never signed that he had to turn in to Remax. This man is unprofessional, lazy and disrespectful to his clients. He spoke to me in a patronizing manner and did little to make my home a marketable piece of property. Needless to say, after many months of dealing with him I found a realtor (Beth Youngs with Carpenter Realty) who worked tirelessly to sell my home. The house was staged and there were many open houses. As a result, my house sold and I couldn't be happier with my experiences with her. I just wish I hadn't wasted so much time with Joe.
