I told them I had a gift card and they insisted that I give them a separate credit card over the phone before they would book an appointment. I told them I made a policy of never giving my credit card information out over the phone, and told them I could be at their office within 5 minutes. I got there 15 minutes before the available appointment and handed over my gift card and a generous $30 tip in cash. The manager refused to book service unless I put a credit card on file with them. I looked at her and said...YOU ARE REFUSING TO HONOR MY GIFT CARD AND THIS $30 DOLLAR TIP UNLESS I ALSO GIVE YOU A CREDIT CARD??? WHY WOULD YOU NEED A CREDIT CARD WHEN I AM PAYING UPFRONT. At that point she got snippy and again refused service unless I handed over my credit card. She ran the gift card and it was valid...she saw I was ready to folk over the tip in cash...yet she still refused. I can't believe this store would not honor this card. I've reported them to the BBB, and will be taking them to small claims court.
