I just completed my new patient evaluation with Dr. Saint Laurent. He is specialty trained in neurology so this is not your typical DC. I am so impressed with my first visit and the depth of information and things that he has experience in treating; I immediately made an appointment for my husband and my son for auto- immune issues. As a business professional I have to say that in my adult life I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism and disrespect by a Doctor's office. 1) Disregard for appointment times - always running late and rushing through appointments - Be prepared to be there for 2-3 hours per appointment. 2) Lack of accountability with billing and health insurance claims The first question I asked when I called for an initial appointment was if they accepted my health insurance. The answer was YES. After 4 appointments and spending close to $900 I realized they were not submitting claims. My insurance company confirmed that ProNeuro/Dr. St. Laurent submitted 1 claim (under a different Doctor's name) but ignored all of the attempts my Ins. Co. made to properly process the claim. The claim they submitted was missing information and proper medical billing codes. I then requested a SUPERBILL in order to file my own claims. After a long waiting period I finally received a statement which had incorrect diagnosis codes and service codes. It's been 3 months of chasing via email, phone and text and all I get is excuses and more excuses. Had they done their job I would have met my annual deductible by now, instead I get to pay more out of pocket due to their neglect. 3) Lack of Focus - After 4 appointments I still did not receive any treatment for my neck issues. Not once did we discuss how he was going to treat me. He just kept running blood work. ANS, SUDO testing and even changed my thyroid prescription. 4) Disrespect - My last appointment in July in the middle of my consultation with him and his RN the doctor stood up without saying a word, walked out of the room and did not return. I asked his RN where the doctor went and his response was "probably home" he then said let me walk you out and took me to the front desk. 6) Office Staff - unreliable and full of excuses so many of my texts and emails went unanswered. On the rare occasion they responded it was like going in circles and getting no where. 5) I did my homework - I checked with TBCE to make sure everything was in order with this doctor. I read all these 5 star reviews and I was very hopeful that he would be "just as great" with me and actually "help me" with my condition. I have been seeing Dr. Ruben for over a year. I have seen significant progress in the areas that have been targeted for improvement. I believe his treatment and education is the reason I don't have lower back pain anymore. Dr. Ruben is personable, expresses genuine care for his patients and loves what he does which drives his utilization of a variety of tools to effectively help his patients. To me, he is more than "just" a chiropractor he's also a problem solver. I have more testimony of how he has helped others but it's not mine to tell. Just know, my testimony represents other. I'm currently working on knee health. When I left his office earlier this week, my knee felt better than it has in months! Dr St Laurent is the single best health practitioner I have ever had. I was having sever shoulder pain which eventually became a frozen shoulder. Two visits to two orthopedist and both recommended surgery despite both an x-ray and an MRI showing nothing wrong. I asked if it might be a nerve issue and after being told my "neck was fine" and given a steroid shot to help with pain and told to make a surgical appointment at the front desk on my way out. I had been working with Dr St Laurent for a couple months for physical therapy recommended by one of the surgeons. Pain was so severe I would wake several times a night shrieking in pain. After surgeon dismissed the nerve issue I asked Dr St Laurent for his opinion and he immediately began treating me for nerve impingement. Within two days my pain had subsided by 80%. After a couple additional months of adjustments and therapy I nearly have all my mobility back in my shoulder and have zero pain all without a single surgical procedure! This doctor really LISTENS to his patients instead of assuming he has all the answers before the question is even finished being stated. I simply cannot recommend Dr St Laurent enough! read more

We started seeing Dr. St. Laurent almost 5 years ago when my daughter was taken over by a "mysterious illness." When i told Dr. St. Laurent of her symptoms, he asked me if we had had her tested for PANDAS. It was the first time my husband and I had heard of this disease and unfortunately, it wasn't the last. Blood and other test confirmed what we already knew (due to her symptoms) that my daughter had PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated With Streptococcal Infections). Dr. St. Laurent bent over backwards to help my daughter. He even went as far as to meet (in person) with our pediatrician Dr. Randy Naidoo so that the two of them could more effectively treat my child. Over the years, he has continued to educate himself on the disease and has been able to help other children in the same situation. Today, my daughter is a straight A student and is no longer under the control of this awful disease. She still has a little anxiety but it is manageable and not really more than that of any other teenage girl. I can't imagine where we would be today without him. read more

We've had chiropractic care in MI when we lived there, and Dr. R is definitely several notches above what we had experienced. He's fixed some of our various muscle/back issues in just one visit, and in no more than a few visits if it was severe. He's concerned about your overall health and not just this muscle or that pain. He is VERY knowledgeable, and we trust him completely. He would never undertake to treat someone who needed care not in his field. The office staff has changed a few times since we've been patients, but they are always kind, courteous, and I've never had trouble being squeezed in for urgent problems. We don't recommend many doctors, but Dr. Ruben gets high praise from us. read more

I went here and I could not be more dissatisfied with the way this "doctor": dropped the ball on my care. I put all of my trust in him, went and had $957 worth of lab work done, and HE never bothered to even call me with the results. Trust me, he couldn't care less if you live or die and that means his degree is a worthless piece of paper. Trying to schedule a follow up appointment, the first available appointment was over a week away. I was surviving one hour at a time most days. I was just kept waiting, endlessly waiting for help that never arrived. I asked for a reminder call the day before my "follow up" appointment and no one ever called because they could not care less about helping patients. Get people to the right doctor if you have no clue. I needed to do a saliva and urine test for adrenal fatigue not just routine lab work. You wasted my time causing me to still not be accurately diagnosed and I'm now out of state with no insurance still needing to treated for uncontrolled high blood pressure and migraines that no drug can stop. It was nothing but 2 months of pure HELL in Texas thanks to trusting you for my faux medical care. The office actually makes you pay for a second visit just to get your lab test results!!! I had to wonder if it was just a Labcorp kickback you work for. The front desk couldn't even remember to hand me my receipt as I left. Brain fog for everyone I guess? Get on the ball people, my life depended on you to refer me to the appropriate level of care when I should have been seeing a real doctor that was an expert in my recent diagnosis. When I was at the end of my rope in my 4th ER, a medical doctor, finally diagnosed me as living with back to back migraines. Once they were clipping the top of my head off, rapid cycling every every 5 minutes I finally knew what what was happening to me. I can assure you that A REAL doctor who understands the sacred trust between a patient and their doctor. calls you personally the day the lab work results are in. I waited patiently, day after day, getting worse and worse practically living in bed 20 hours a day until I could get some help. I needed a treatment plan, my neck needed to be adjusted, I needed a real doctor after yet another car crash, I found none of that available to me here. I paid $150 in cash for nothing, I left feeling much worse, no insurance was accepted on the first visit which means it's all fake. "Pay and go away," should be the office motto. Mail me a full refund, it's the least you could do, no wait you already did the least you could do! I desperately needed help with my memory and that should have been painfully obvious to everyone in the building. I was an absolute fool to trust anyone that works here. Don't be a fool, go anywhere else with your head injury and your medical symptoms. My blood pressure was never checked in your office and it's been in the 169 over 110 range. If I could sue you for malpractice I would. I should have known better than to trust a chiropractor when I needed to see a medical doctor. THANK YOU FOR THE EXPERIENCE. I won't ever trust a mere chiropractor during a medically unstable crisis. I am much wiser now and I will make sure my referring physician never sends anyone to your door again. For over 18 years I've been gradually feeling worse with bouts of fatigue, allergies, continual mucus drainage, abdominal issues and brain fog. Since I travel a lot I've been to medical professionals all over the world who practice all kinds of modalities - allopathic, homeopathic, naturopathic, Chinese medicine and even energetic practitioners to find relief and a return to a normalcy. Interspersed with these visits I've tried numerous natural supplements, bought gizmos that promised to fix things and utilized various workout regimes, none able to remedy my issues. Until now no one has been able to figure out what was going on and restore my health. About a month ago a friend was visiting and complained about dizziness and head issues. I thought of Dr. St. Laurent because I knew concussions were one of his specialties. When I took her to see him I was also fighting an eye infection. Dr. St. Laurent took one look at me and told me to come see him in two days. Unlike other doctors I've visited Dr. St. Laurent spent at least two hours with me discussing my issues, running tests and using his extensive knowledge of the body, neurotransmitters and many other things I have no clue about, while explaining his thoughts of what might be going on. He quickly suspected a systemic infection but wanted to wait for the results of the blood test before proclaiming a diagnosis. Sure enough, when the results came back his suspicions were confirmed. It seems my immune system has been battling an infection that it couldn't overcome due to specific conditions in my body that were conducive to its growth. Dr. St. Laurent mapped out a recovery plan that put me on a ketogenic diet, recommended specific medication that I receive from my GP and take some supplements. After just the first week I felt better. Now a month later I have my life back! I sleep normally for about 7-8 hours a night, I no longer have mucus congestion or sinus issues, I have yet to feel fatigued, the abdominal issues are cleared and, most importantly, the brain fog is gone. I can't thank Dr. St. Laurent enough for taking his time to get to the core issue of my symptoms then proscribe a concise plan of recovery. Unfortunately this is a very rare experience in the medical industry today which makes Dr. St. Laurent such a wonderful find. Be very CAREFUL with ProNeuro's billing!!! I went for 2 to 3 month time period for care in which I was self paying because my insurance did not cover chiropractic care. Never gave them any of my insurance information or ss number. Received a bill for an additional $300.00 that they billed through my insurance company. Funny thing is for the first month of care my payments were enough for the greedy office, but then they decided to also bill my insurance company for the second month on. My 11 year old daughter had been suffering from a concussion for 6 weeks. Her pediatrician referred her to a Pediatric Neurologist and the next available appointment was 4 weeks away. (Ugh!) A parent recommended Dr. Ruben and with my fingers crossed I called to schedule an appointment. That afternoon I received a call back asking if we could be at his office at 8:00 am the next morning. I was amazed at how thorough he was during her initial exam. He even noticed that she has Osgood Schlatter Disease, which is unrelated to her concussion. Each visit Dr. Ruben took his time listening to our concerns, evaluating her and helping us understand what was going on. We learned a lot about concussions and the affects it can have on your body. Concussions are not only challenging for the patient. They are also challenging for families, friends and educators. Before seeing Dr. Ruben, as a parent I felt helpless. Although I could not make her better, it was comforting to know that she was receiving the best care possible. On a side note, after returning to sports she was having ankle pain. Once again she had seen a couple of doctors and even had X-rays, which did not reveal anything. So, off we went with a diagnosis of a sprained ankle and instructions to stay off of it as much as possible. (Are you kidding me, she just recovered from a concussion and wants to be active NOW, not in a few weeks.) Dr. Ruben took a look at her ankle and was able to diagnose and start her on a treatment plan that allowed her to play a few basketball games before the season was over.
