I am a first time customer and I can say I will NEVER bring my vehicle back for any sort of business. I had to take my car back three times, THREE!!! That is simply unacceptable. I understand that shit happens, but not THREE times. To top it off it happened to my brand new car and they scratched up my paint, left bubbles in the tint, a whole bunch of water in my trunk where my very expensive school books were and my belongings, dog hair all in the back of my car and I haven't even had my car for a whole 24 hours. VERY unprofessional, I received bad customer service not just once, but three times. It isn't professional when I bring a car in to get work done on it and the way I receive it wasn't the way I brought it in. read more

Wow, only 5 reviews and I fell for the scam. These five reviews must be from employees. I had the worst experience ever as a consumer with this place. Here's my story. After reading the great reviews here, my wife and I decided to go with this place. We met with some of the nicest people we've ever met. The first guy we talked to was an asian guy. He was super nice and knowledgeable. He gave us all the in's and out's of car tints and sold us. He said they gurantee a good job and there "should" be no air bubbles or problems. He gave us the whole spill about having a dedicated room and not using razor blades to cut the tint and all. It sounded amazing and I was extremely excited. On the day of the job, the asian guy was nowhere to be seen and we haven't seen him since the first time. A different guy was there. His name was Chuck. He sounded like the boss or owner. He was also super nice. He gave us another great sales pitch and concluded with "we just want to make you happy." After the job was completed and we dropped by to pick up our brand new 2013 Hyundai Sonata, we noticed some spots and and blemishes on the tint. Chuck told us not to worry and that it was only water vapor and "should" go away in a few days. About a week later, we noticed that those "water vapors" Chuck assured us would go away were still there. This time they didn't look like vapor but instead air bubbles. We were quite upset considering we purchased one of their (if not the best) best packages. It cost us $379. So, we called and took the car back to the shop to have it looked at. Chuck took a look and immediately his tone changed from being Mr. Rogers to a fire breathing beast. He told us that imperfections are normal and that there is no such thing as a perfect tint job. I argued with him and asked why that wasn't communicated to us and his answer was that I should've read the work order because it states that there. He further argued that I signed the contract, implying that I was stupid for not reading the work order before signing. Legally he was right, but damn, was that necessary? Are such practices really good business conduct? Chuck eventually agreed to redo my tint (not the rear window though even though there were visible air bubbles) and admitted that some spots were bad but never once apologized for the inconvenience that it caused me (any decent human being would have done so). He even admitted that it was their fault by saying that he would talk to his installers. After the 2nd job was done, we came across the same issue. I pointed out imperfections to Chuck and one of his employees and of course they had an explanation for everything. More water vapors and this time glue. "Just let it dry out," they both said. There really wasn't much we could have done but accept their "professional" opinions. We left unhappy. Two weeks later and we still noticed some of the imperfections that was there when we were at the shop. My wife and I were just upset and didn't know what to do. She then decided to take the car to a reputable shop and ask for a second opinion. They disagreed with all the things that Chuck had said and that Chuck's shop really did do a bad job, especially on a brand new car. In addition, he said that a brand new car would never leave his shop unless it is near perfect. We were quite surpised by this because we thought Chuck was an honest truthful man who had years of experience under his belt and really knew what he was talking about. So, Today I called Chuck and told him the situation and he immediately became defensive and argumentative. Not even an apology. What a guy. He tried to put the blame on me and told me that I was too picky and that nothing would satisfy me. He offered to do only one window (where the so-called glue was) and nothing else. I said that I was not satisfied with that and he interupted me with an offer to refund only the cost of materials and removal of the tint. The labor cost was more than the material cost and he refused to give that back. During this time he for some reason kept telling me he had a smile on his face even though he knew I was upset. I guess Chuck must never buy anything. I guess he's never been on the other end being the consumer. Maybe he has. Maybe he really just accepts what he buys regardless of the condition or quality. I guess he doesn't mind that he gets rotten meat or molded tomatoes when he shops. If he can tell me that to my face, I'll accept his inferior workmanship. I'm not a person to rip off anyone or try to get anything for free. I paid the cost for their goods and services. All I wanted was the quality that I paid for and was verbally promised. I brought my new Honda in to get the windows tinted and they did an AMAZING job!!! We were helped by Chuck and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! They did such a great job on my car that my dad is coming back to get his new car windows tinted too! I HIGHLY recommend them, they're worth every penny! read more

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!! The owner of this establishment is rude and very unprofessional! I arrived for my appointment at noon, that I had made 4 days prior with another employee, which I explained in detail exactly what I wanted. When I got there, first he was irritated that my appointment was made during his lunch time. He asked me why my appointment was made at that time and "when do you expect us to have a lunch", last I checked, I don't work for them and I didn't set up my own appointment! Then he refused to use the tint I asked for. I asked why I was told on the phone that it wasn't a problem and if they didn't do it, why would they schedule the appointment? I drove an hour for the appointment. He said "I don't need your business, you can leave". So that is exactly what I did. They gave me my car back and the pocket in the door was full of junk post cards and adds that they clearly shoved in there! These people are rude, unprofessional and childish!! Go anywhere but Pro Tint in Stockton!! I took my car somewhere else and it was $150.00 LESS for the same product. read more

I have a 100k Car and i wanted to go to a good tint shop that knew what they were doing, unfortunately this was the only tint shop in stockton that had pretty good reviews and when i got a quote of $700 to remove my old tint and install darker tint. Yes it was expensive but i figured they were professional and would do a great job. I got my car back with bubbles on one side of the window and to make matters worse they told me not to roll down the windows for a few days so when i did eventually roll down the windows i noticed that not all the tint covered the whole window. Imagine an inch off the top of the window having no tint it looked as if they just rushed the job or maybe even ran out of tint. Either way there work is sloppy, expensive and i am driving all the way to livermore to get my tint done. There shop is no diffrent than being at the flea market and getting your tint job there. If you want a cheap looking expensive job done this shop is the place for you. I talked to the manager regarding these issues and they said they can work a deal out where if i wanted to retint my windows he could give me a deal lol.... yeah rite. read more
