She has special needs and can't walk, so she took Aquatic Therapy with Nick (the owner) every week. She can be hard to work with sometimes - she will bite, scratch, kick, and scream. But he was very patient and kind to her. He worked with her every time, always with a smile on his face. They became fast friends, and swimming therapy was her favorite! The facility is immaculately clean. The receptionists were friendly, and always good at returning your phone calls or working with your schedule. My daughter also got the chance to work with Jeff and Jordan, and they were both great working with her. Really nice guys who always went out of their way to say, "Hi!" when we saw them after that. The pool is such a neat thing. It's the only one in Southern Idaho indoors for Physical Therapy. It's roomy and warm, and they have plenty of different ways to accommodate each patient into the pool. They also have a hot tub for patients to work in! There were two dressing rooms with showers that I appreciated having to change my daughter in. Was very disappointed when I was being treated at the Falls Ave clinic in Twin Falls. Therapist would not listen to my concerns and tried to treat what he thought was right and left every session hurting worse than when I went in. I finally was transferred to Filer clinic where they listened and I started feeling better. However, VA only does so many authorized visits. My visits ran out and was not doing better. The clinic sends reports to the VA for authorizations for more visits which they usually approve. After a month I reached out to the VA and was informed that they had not received any such request. Now 4 months later still no answers to help me improve. I feel like I was black listed from treatment with this experience.

My treatment was complicated by the fact that the injured leg was an inch shorter than my good leg. The personalized treatment, care, concern and encouragement I received was head and shoulders above my two prior out of state experiences. From the receptionists to the therapy aids, to the physical therapists the whole team is a special group of people that truly care about the individual and the care they provide. The therapists are kind, skilled, knowledgeable, and were willing to help me learn in any way that they could. It was a great 16-week rotation. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking to get great care in the Kimberly area.
