My experience with Dental Express Ajijic was deeply disappointing. I traveled from the US after…read morescheduling a procedure with them, booking a flight and accommodations. Three days before my flight I was informed that my scheduled surgeon was unavailable, but I was assured they could accommodate me in Guadalajara instead. The procedure date and a number of other appointments were set. All emails were last minute - even 24 hours before my flight I wasn't sure they had an appointment for me. Upon arrival, all my appointments were rescheduled, the procedure rescheduled for Monday. Sunday night, I received an email stating I was ineligible entirely for the procedure - that it would most likely fail. While I'm glad they didn't just go through with it, I also asked why they didn't tell me before I flew to Mexico. They claimed my dentist didn't send my records in time - my dentist has timestamped emails that disprove that claim. I did receive a teeth cleaning and small filling replacement from a skilled and kind dentist at Dental Express. However, the management's incompetence overshadowed this positive experience. When I asked what treatment they would recommend, they suggested a mouthwash. I flew 2,000 miles for this experience and under no control of my own, wasted a significant amount of money and time. Don't use Dental Express if you value either.
