My boy is 6 and takes piano, and my girl is 8 and takes guitar. They love it and are excited so come for their weekly lessons!! They have learned so much in a short period of time! I got busy with my career and raising the kid. ...Fast forward to 2016...... I got a new Martin guitar (one I had dreamed of having my whole life, but never had enough $$$$ to buy one).Then one day not too long ago, I picked up my guitar to play Stairway to Heaven. I had played that song about 1 million times. I could not remember the opening riff. I love the guitar so much and started to panic because I thought something was totally wrong with my brain. So I decided to take guitar lessons again. I found Encore Academy of Music through Groupon and signed up. Dave Coronado, who is like 20 years younger than I, is my teacher. I have never met a person that has so much musical talent as Dave. I was so amazed at his talent to play many musical instruments and to just listen to a song and be able to play it. I started out taking 30 minute guitar lessons that are at such a reasonable rate. I think I payed the same when I was 17. I'm having so much fun that I decided to take hour lessons from him.....just a really cool, laid back guy.

At the end of each program she was in, there was a showcase performance for the parents, to display the hard work and talent of the children... I'm telling you, each time I was shocked and amazed!! My daughter's confidence increased tremendously with the tools she learned at Drama Kids, and she is still implementing those tools today in her everyday life (both inside and outside of the classroom). I recommend Drama Kids to anyone who has children; it's for girls and boys, shy or not! My favorite thing about Aspire was our commitment to developing personalized study plans for each student, whether it be catching up on late/missed work, emphasizing certain topics learned in class, or preparing for the SAT/ACT. I loved seeing some of my students begin to score perfect scores on their math and science exams, and even to see some students graduate high school and attend amazing universities such as Baylor and the University of Texas at Austin.
