The two benches attached to their front outer wall seats 8 comfortably and standing in the middle of the narrow street or against the opposing wall - with a drink - can bring them a hefty fine. So, they draw a line of demarcation (two feet in front of the benches) on the brick street with a piece of chalk which you are asked and required to stand behind. It just makes it all the more cozier. Inside, the bar seats 6-8 and the two tables, left and right of the door, seats 12-14. And that's it. Weather permitting, sitting on the benches is the best place to people watch in Amsterdam. Trust me.

RPEL also has gourmet dipping sauces to accompany your fries with such as mayo, Belgian mayo, BBQ, curry sauce, applesauce (a German thing) and their new citrus and truffle mayos.
