I bring my son here to learn Taekwondo and I've waited a while before writing a review because I…read moredidn't want to be overzealous too soon. This business is absolutely incredible and if you haven't brought yourself or your child here yet then what the heck are you waiting for?? The discipline, exercise, and demand for perfection from the students is not only above average but top tier. This is the third martial arts studio (if that's the right word) that I've brought my son to in 4 years and this is the first place that actually demands perfection to earn belts- this is not a belt factory or a social club like the other places I've brought him to. The other two places I brought him to simply gave tips and belts based on the number of classes attended which is ridiculous. If you want to graduate you have to pass the class, right? Instructor John is incredibly polite, stern and professional. I wish I knew about this place sooner. Also, this is a black belt academy that participates in local and national tournaments so it's not just an after school activity. Facility is immaculate, parking is fantastic despite what I initially feared because there's an entire parking lot of substantial size on the end of the shopping strip, easy to get out and back on the road as well, and pricing is incredible for the value of the education and exercise my son is receiving. Instructor John is awesome with the kids and has a pow wow with each one of them as they exit the mat. No snowflakes here! And if my son cries, oh well! The world is a tough place and Instructor John gets them ready for it! My son will be a student for life as far as I'm concerned.

He asked the same to my son and the other older child, and very impatient, and finally the teacher pissed me off because he pull my son's collar and hurt his neck, my son cried badly, keeping saying neck pain. I ask the teacher to apologize to my son for his rudeness but he refused at first, and said I did nothing. Finally I called 911, he said sorry. I don't recommend this place for younger child, even though they said they are for 3-5 children, but they give zero patient to young children. Can't imagine how could this place keep running as the teacher is such rude and impatient.

Masters martial arts is great! After a lot of research and trials at other dojos, Masters turned…read moreout to be a perfect fit for us. My 8 yr. old son has been a member for close to a year now. From the time he was a toddler he struggled with extreme shyness and social anxiety. These classes have helped him dramatically overcome most of these issues. It is also heart warming to see him smiling and enjoying himself in class. He is a talented young piano player that is now able to perform at recitals, something that we never thought would be possible. We were so impressed by this school that my husband and I decided to join the adult classes. I have become stronger, leaner and healthier! (My pre-baby jeans fit again!). Master Mike is a great teacher, he is firm but kind and makes classes fun and engaging for all levels! Stacey D.

I started by looking for a place to have a place for work out and hang out to just have fun, now I'm in love with this place. Master Lee teaches every class in person and monitors every student's progress. The black belt students in class are very helpful and encouraging! This is a great place for learning new skill, making connections with wonderful people and self-improvement.

He pretends to be nice when the parents are there and once the parents leave he is a bully to the children. He calls them names and makes fun of them, he talks down to his wife in front of the children which sets a horrible example. My kid will no longer be going here and I encourage other parents who take there children here to turn around and run.

Around the time where my son was going to the summer camp my son would tell me how Mr. Choi was disrespectful to his wife and talk down to her in front of the children. Also as part of his "disciplinary technique" he would make fun of children And put them down in front of the whole class to try to teach that particular kid a lesson. I have been doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Renzo Gracie Academy for many years, so I know what discipline is, and I wanted a similar experience for my child. But making fun and laughing at a child makes them insecure and is not the way to build confidence! Even after all of this happening my son was still going here. Today was the last straw! My son sees a tutor and he forgot (he is a child so they tend to forget) that he had a class with the tutor at 6pm. He went to the earlier class, so I went to get him and bring him home to see the tutor. I motioned from across the room for my son to get ready because he forgot the tutor and my son went to bow and tell Mr. Choi what was happening. At this point Mr. Choi is ignoring him and my son goes to get ready and leave but Mrs. Choi comes Over and tells my son to make sure Mr. Choi heard him. So this time my son is a bit louder and tells him "I'm sorry Mr.Choi I forgot I had a tutor class today and I have to go". Mr. Choi turns around and screams at the top of his lungs " DO NOT INTERRUPT MY CLASS! " when my son is only a few feet away. At this point as a parent I am fuming and wanted to say a lot to him but there were children around so I just told my son "don't worry, just get your stuff". Funny part is it wasn't even over, then Mrs. Choi comes over and says "You know we have rules here" so I turned around and said "what type of rules? Screaming at a kid for having responsibilities?" And then Mr. Choi came over and started screaming at my kid "you're not a good kid and your family is no good..." and then I stopped him right there. I proceeded to level my self to this man and said "What's your problem we are just leaving, do you want to take it on the mats?". You would think as a black belt he would take the offer, but he whimpered away and proceeded to kick us out like dogs in front of everybody and told my son that he is no longer accepted into this academy. Keep in mind this is all happening while the children and parents were watching. I proceeded to walk out and Mrs. Choi follows me out of the store pestering me, and I had to tell her "back off and I am leaving, why the need to follow me ?" I couldn't believe this happened. My son will no longer be going here and I am deeply in pain for the kids that had no choice but to see this go down when he should have self control and discipline.
