It seems that no one in Laredo wants to do things right. Took a 3 piece suit to get tailored, got measured and left it there. The lady there told me it was gonna take 8 days. The day comes and it is not ready. I had already paid for the alterations prior, because I know how people work here. And even then it wasn't ready that day. So I have her to Monday, even though she asked to go later that day. Monday comes and nothing. I work late, I can't be going back and forth. So 2 days later someone goes to get it for me and when I tried it on it was a royal mess, as if she had measured a different person. I just want to know why? What is it about these people that they manage to have a business for so many years. I will never go back again. And you shouldn't either. read more

Tailor can do a decent job on almost any garment you have... As long as she decides to follow your instructions rather than making alterations which differ from what you both discussed. On leather, this is NOT a good trait to have as it is irreversible. Additionally, if you have a few items and schedule a pick-up time, I'd bet against the items being done on time. I used this tailor many many times and eventually decided I couldn't deal with the poor planning and unprofessionalism. There are 2 things that matter in a tailor shop, quality and punctuality. This place has quality, for the most part I suppose. As far as punctuality, maybe for one simple item, but definitely not for any difficult or multiple items. The tailor says she needs two weeks for a jacket, then the night before it's supposed to be done, calls and asks me for another week to complete it. She didn't even start it. She procrastinates and misjudges her timing again and again. I had to leave. read more
