I was invited to one of progressive closing institute big events where they have paid motivational speakers. In that meeting they specifically have their sales people target you the dentist to get you to buy their packages. That's when I got lured into buying their treatment coordinator training, shortly after that the sales rep reached out again this time trying to get me to do $12,000/ month marketing and a new $50,000 website. I was excited to work with them and eager to get this done. Shortly after I signed up I found out that they keep 30% of my marketing budget, they have their own platform so you never see what's going on with the marketing or data because they don't give you access!!! Not to mention the marketing is a hoax and doesn't work! The patients they book you don't show and they don't have money and don't qualify for financing! Then I noticed my own business Google page was taken away from me and when a patient left me a review it went to their platform not my own Google page. This made me extremely mad, I started investigating. I found out that my website was not custom and they build it with old tools 4 versions below the standard. Also, they custom code your website so much so no one else can take over the SEO and or update the website. I hired another company to try and take over but the website kept breaking. I have since stoped all services with Progressive and had to rebuild a new website as theirs did not work. I have spoken to many doctors and they all had similar experiences. So if you are thinking to join this horrible company Progressive, think again! Today 7/28/2025 I found out more that Gerritt Corra have also taken my own Google analytics admin/Owner access, he has deleted my old website and he is refusing to give it back!!! He is holding my Google analytics as hostage he said unless I remove my reviews and sign a release form!!! What a joke! Horrible company without morals and ethics. I'm not a fan of Bart. I've seen his type before. He's a speaker doing nothing but trying to sell himself. He's getting all these Dental Practices to buy in to his fake persona. He seems to think people will be more comfortable with him or others listening to you speak on the phone with a patient, to then later correct you and tell you what he should of said. He's pompous and wealthy because of people not having common sense. If you do have common sense, save your money to better your office and your staff. Don't waste it on him. read more

We had terrible experience with this marketing company. Do not believe or do business with them otherwise you will regret it. They have nothing to offer except sweet, sugar-coated talk to get the business from you. Once they have received your money, believing their pack of lies, your money is lost forever whether you use their services or not. We had been in business for 20 years. Never came across such a deviated and twisted business practices as these. We are recounting our experience with them to throw light on their scammy business practices so that you do not become a victim Initially we registered with this marketing service with a goal of expanding of our implant services. We paid them $ 8,859.31 in 2021. However due to ongoing Covid pandemic and reduced office working hours we cancelled the contract without using their services at all in 2022. We requested a refund of our deposit. First, they gave us a runaround for six months with multiple excuses in response to our phone calls and multiple e-mails. After several months of back and forth negotiations they promised us to refund our deposit after deducting $2000.00 for spending time and energy in conversation and drafting e-mails. Now we are in year 2024 and still not received our deposit. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY from these online scammers and liers. read more

I never write reviews, but I believe in this case it is my obligation to inform our dental colleagues about the scam of the so called Dental Practice Marketing Companies. So, after doing some research on various dental marketers, we decided on Progressive Dental. My first encounter was with the CEO of the company, Bart Knellinger. Very well spoken, and if you are a dental specialist, you would think he is a match made in heaven. After my first conversation with him, I eagerly looked forward to get the ball rolling! A lot of shady things happened and I won't bore our readers with details. I closed my eyes and just went with it, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. So we finally signed up. We were advised that our current website was not to today's standards, so they need to build us another website with personalized videos. Apparently, cheap looking website with few videos are big revenue generators for them. The first thing was videography. That went OK! Then, they started with the website. My problem with this company started over the website. There were too many pitfalls and empty promises. Finally they delivered a very basic website with many grammatical and spelling errors. The website looked exactly like any other website they had done and they called it customized. Ok, I closed my eyes again; we then attempted to move to the next phase, "Marketing". I agreed with whatever marketing tactics they suggested for our practice. But then Garrett Cora (the Vice-president of this company) sent me an addendum to their contract, stripping my rights to express any potential negative reviews or negative comments to anyone or any review site. If we are not satisfied, we are not allowed to discuss anything with anyone or any social media and if we did, there will be a big lawsuit. I looked the other way on many of their shady behavior, but this one took the cake. So we end up not signing up, and I am so glad this incident happened because I know marketing my practice with Progressive Dental would have been a huge disappointment. I hope this review can help many of the dental practices and prevent getting caught into the scam of the so called "experts" in dental marketing. They are not experts, they are scammers. The business of Dentistry has become competitive, and these wolves know exactly how to take advantage of the vulnerable practitioners. Please don't fall for it. read more

Horrendous experience! I had the terrible misfortune of falling hook, line and sinker for the sales pitch. They promised to be so much better than all the other marketing companies I had worked with in the past. In hindsight, I realize how easily I was fooled by their glossy sales pitch. Shame on me! It's been 9 months since I signed up with them. I was forced to buy hugely marked up unnecessary photographic equipment from them which they promised to set up and teach my team to use to secure video testimonials from happy patients. Never happened. They promised my a custom website. All they did is use a generic design and slap my name and images into it. Nothing custom about it. On launch yesterday the website had numerous broken links and lack core functionality available on my previous website. Worst of all the owner Bart is never available to take my calls or answer my messages His underlings simply give me lip service and the a go around. Do yourself a favor.
