Dr. Ghacibeh and his team were absolutely amazing in helping our infant son. He unfortunately had uncontrollable spasms which, due to my family history, we thought may have been epilepsy. After multiple EEG tests, Dr. Ghacibeh was able to determine he had a very rare issue that was curable with simple medication. 2 months later, he is completely issue-free. While we are extremely grateful that Dr. Ghacibeh could solve the issue, the main thing that impressed us was how kind and helpful him and his staff (Safwan and Lyndsey) were throughout the whole process. It's not easy doing this for an infant but they were beyond caring and professional during everything. Our son was comfortable the whole time, thanks in large part to the care that everyone showed. Although my neurologist is the greatest, her practice, not so much!!! There is no live access to anyone. No one calls back If someone ever calls back, no one at this office can answer the questions asked! They tell you they will have someone that can help you call you back. That never happens This is the most unorganized office I have ever dealt with! Try speaking with the office manager, Lol!!! Still waiting...... going on three months! I received a series of two rounds of Botox injections for my headaches from Dr. Conners . I had a slight allergic reaction and called the office 7 times. I left messages with his office assistant and I never received a call back. This was very disappointing. read more

I'm not sure where to begin. I chose this doctor for a couple of reasons. First, he participated in my insurance plan. Secondly, his training was at a very very good hospital and his office was not far from my home. Dr. Donato is professional, compassionate, knowledge and a host of other adjectives that should have you making an appt asap. I recently lost my dad and when I began to share the experience, Dr. Donato put down his pen, leaned back in his chair and held such empathic space for me to cry and express my grief. I was in his care for an hour and my appt was right on time. He walked me through the exam and then went through every option to remediate my issues. He is caring and kind, patient and down to earth. Have been attempting for over three months to get a refund of an overpayment after the claim was processed by my medical provider. Their Billing department refuses to answer emails or calls to the point where I am now being forced to file legal action against them just to get the refund paid. read more

I don't know if I can put into words how amazing Dr. Robert Connors is. I was referred to Dr. Connors because I was diagnosed with ALS by my the first neurologist. Right from the start Dr. Connors was incredibly reassuring, thorough and very open and informative. He gave me a lot of choices as to how to proceed and we chose to continue with rigorous testing to see if we could find an alternative diagnosis. Dr. Connors called me the day before Thanksgiving to tell me that one of the tests I had came back positive for a potential turned in the diagnosis. He is easy to get a hold of her, always calls right back and spends an enormous amount of time with you whether on the phone or in person. Again, I could never find a big enough work for how grateful we are to have found Dr. Connors and how grateful I am that he is my doctor. read more

The doctors in this office are excellent. I see Dr. Kakkar for migraines and my daughter sees Dr. Connors. They are both patient, kind and excellent doctors. However, the office is awful to deal with. They don't return calls, pass along messages and even cancelled one of my appointments without telling me. I recently had an appointment with Dr Kakkar. He took me exactly on time even though the office was filled with patients. He was extremely patient and thorough. He took his time and discussed all of my options. I have been on a long road trying to find a diagnosis for my chronic pain. I am only able to see drs. that my insurance plan covers . I'm deeply sadden by the treatment I received when I visited the Progressive Neurology group. I was told I would need a scan and never was contacted again from the staff. I called E mailed a week and a half later and inquired about the status of the scan and was E Mailed that same afternoon the file was just sent to Holy Name Hospital. The same afternoon of my Email. I was forgotten up until that point. Days past and I contacted the staff once again asking when the test would be done. I was then informed I needed to call the hospital. Up until today no information was directed to me I needed to make an appointment. Terrible communication between staff and patient. My concern for my health was ignored. I decided to look elsewhere for my health care and inform the staff of my decision. The staff member quickly mentioned in a E Mail they would cancel all my appointments. This office has one of the nastiest receptionists working there. It's a small 3 person office , I'm a patient of Dr Tsai , shes treating me for seizures. So this morning 9/23 19 Monday , I get a call at exactly 11:00am , i missed it by a second , so i call back right away and get a lady names Kris or Chris on the line (probably short for Cristina). Just told her I got a call from this office literally 10 seconds ago and can she please ask who called me (because I'm waiting for very important paper work to be filled out and given back to me) Instead of asking like literally the other 2 people working there , she looks up my birth date (keep in mind her voice is very fake and sarcastic like) and I tell her ask someone in there who called me , she then forwards me to the other co workers line without notice. I swear to God this is the kind of phony customer service I receive here. The doctor is fantastic but the people they hire to work the front desk are miserable and fake. I saw Dr. Kakkar for ongoing migraine headaches. I have to say, he is one of the most patient doctor's I've ever been to. I waited about 20 minutes after the appointment time for him to begin the exam, which is not bad. He took a lot of time contemplating what could be causing my headaches. He explained everything in detail, and right in the exam room he emailed me a link to a video he asked I watch. He gave me a headache diary and urged me to keep him updated via his personal email. I saw Dr. Mittleman at the Westwood office for an EMG/NCV study. He was incredibly friendly and professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. He explained the procedure in detail and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. The medical assistant was also great, as was the front desk. I highly recommend this practice! read more

I had a video appointment with Dr Kakkar and he advised me to take an EMG test. First of all, they never called me back after the test. I called them back to see next steps and find out what blood tests I needed to have. The office will not have the physician call me back unless I make an appointment with them again. This is horrible.....a real question of patient rights here! I am only trying to find out directions and they won't even let me speak to the Doctor. Suggest you clarify their treatment and communication policies with them before making any appointments!! read more

Following a CT scan finding following a hearing test, my medical doctor suggested I be further evaluated by a neurologist. In May, I scheduled and waited 3 weeks for an appointment with Dr. Ghacibeh who seemed to have wonderful reviews. On the scheduled day, I arrived for my appt and was told I would be seeing Dr. Kakar instead. I refused as I had scheduled with Ghacibeh and expected to see him and no one else. I was told his next available appointment was almost 4 months out on 9/14 at 1:30pm, so I took it. Today, 9/14, I thought it rather odd that they never called to confirm my appointment so I called at noontime to be sure I was still on schedule for Ghacibeh at 1:30. To my surprise I was told matter of factly that he was not even in today and that I had been left a message cancelling the appointment 2 days ago. This was so NOT the case. This office is a mess. I don't know or care how wonderful this Dr. Ghacibeh might be, but he should be ashamed of himself if he tolerates this level of incompetence from his staff. They are rude and just don't care whatsoever. Will never attempt to go back there again!!! Just awful! read more
