I had the most demoralizing experience here. I was scheduled for an MRI. When I walked into the room and laid on the table, I was asked by a female tech, who was very clearly uneducated and in training, what my weight was. She asked this is the most condescending tone and then repeated it to the male tech with her eyes wide open. The two then proceeded to use Velcro straps over my hips while discussing over me that "they weren't going to stay," "perhaps they should use tape" and instructing me to take "deep breaths" several times to shrink myself. Following this, they began putting me through the chamber which nearly cut me off at the neck. They asked if "I could deal with this for the next 45 minutes," which was appalling given I couldn't even breathe. They pulled me out saying "yea, this just won't work, sorry." I've never felt more demoralized or humiliated. I've since researched the weight limitations for MRI machinery and am several hundred pounds under the maximum, so I'm baffled by the treatment and mental toll this has taken on me since. Not to mention, I'm a postpartum mother, and the lack of humanity received by "medical professionals" was extremely outdated. It's 2024, let's evolve people. I spent 1 hour trying to get through to the front desk to speak with an office manager about this today. Of course, no call back. Avoid at all costs - and if you see this female tech in training, I'd leave immediately. read more

I used this facility because my doctor recommended it from optum and it was close by the office. Apparently, I have a bill for $34. Not once did I get an invoice or not? Once did I get a call from this office billing department asking for payment? So this office sent me to collections, and now I get collectors calling my cell phone because they never called me to ask about my payment for their fee. What kind of shady business practices is this? What happened to calling? The the patient asking for payment before sending them to collections. Ask it if we got the invoice first and then asking for a payment. They're just as bad as liberty Pacific imaging on roscoe, who tries to charge you for 3rd party insurance when they don't know how to do their billing. So just a heads up, don't use this company or this office because they will not reach out to you at all. And we'll send you 2 collections over there. It's the smallest amount, even though you don't get your invoice from them. read more

Absolutely terrible communication in this imaging facility. Not only were they incredibly rude when my father was trying to schedule his appointment with them originally, which caused me to start off by engaging a supervisor, but then after additional information was required - they dragged their feet requesting in. Weeks later we called to follow up to see if they received the information needed and they just flippantly said - Yes weeks ago but we cannot help you at this facility. Absolutely not a care given that they delayed letting us know for weeks about a procedure that is medically necessary. Horrible. read more

I stopped going to this place . I was not able to get the Cd of my ultrasound, they told me I had to call the Beverily Hills location Because their cd burner no longer works . I called that location and they told me it will take two weeks for them to mail. Two weeks and nothing in the mail. Called again and no luck. Kept calling but put on hold for over 30 minutes or the system hangs up on me. I finally gave up. They are playing with patients lives. While the technicians are nice and friendly. The receptionist is the worst thing ever. I left a review over a year ago stating that the receptionist kept me on hold for over an hour until closing time so that I don't get help. She then set the phone to the out of office and I couldn't get hold of them. All I needed was the appointment time. Today, a year later. We came in with the doctor order form. They refused to accept it because it's printed format from ucla and not on a usual pad. We called our doctor office. They said they will call them. The receptionist put them on hold for 10-15 minutes so they can joke around and talk about what their parents would do as well as use a wooden balancing board. The service is even worse than I remember. It's the same entitled receptionist that thinks she has a medical degree. Worst experience. Never giving them a second chance. read more

Pro health was accommodating with getting me in quickly. Check in process was simple and wait time was minimal. My technician Frank, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from to start to finish. He explained the process and continued to walk me through the next steps while in the middle of the MRI. He made the process feel comfortable and safe. read more

To the Owner/General Manager/President of Prohealth: I want the general public to understand how sub-par an experience I recently endured at your facility in West Hills on Medical Plaza Dr. First, I was tasked to wait for 45 minutes past a urologist ordered, and made SET appointment. I am a business owner -- Prohealths disregard for my time is completely unacceptable--and cost me money. The people who work there are cold, lack common courtesy and empathy for their myriad patients. I personally witnessed multiple instances where patients were poorly treated-- patients who were elderly, frail, and like myself-- fearful of a given diagnosis which brought them to Prohealth in the first place. They don't greet you... I saw at least 6 people only hear " do you have an appointment?" And then shoved a clipboard. One elderly lady was so angry that she said " what a bunch of A**holes" as she was curtly told to go to the 4th floor after dealing with these simians. The office never gave me FAST instructions. In fact, my urologist's offices called me and asked if they had given me pre-MRI protocols-- apparently a recurring issue with the derelict office staff. I was told by my doctors to not eat after midnight and ONLY have a sip of water to take my heart medication. Nothing from Prohealth-- zero display of conscientiousness or concern about their " customers ". It was such a profoundly horrific experience that culminated in the MRI lab where the technician couldn't draw blood from me-- after multiple attempts. The technician had the unmitigated gall to " blame the patient " -- and told me that the reason he couldn't do the ONE job he is tasked to perform-- was because I was dehydrated. And that I should have drank water-- NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DRINK WATER DURING A FASTING PREPARATION. He then blamed the front desk for not giving me proper advice-- which would have run counter to the Urology practice in the very same building. Blame the patient? Are you serious? It was a NIGHTMARE for me-- it took over 2 1/2 hours after all was said and done. The tech claimed he could only capture 50% of the contrast fluid due to my " dehydration " and that it was up to the radiologist to determine whether or not I had to return for another MRI contrast. There was no sense of contrition, accountability or responsibility on behalf of this facility-- from the immature staff who lack any respect for their patients and the technicians who did nothing to mitigate a very disturbing incident. I had a panic attack as I had to stay in the " tube" much much longer than necessary due to the lack of proper training to insert an IV. I have formally registered a complaint with the highly regarded San Fernando Valley Urology practice-- who are currently investigating the business practices of ProHealth. I highly recommend that the principal of this company TRAIN THEIR FRONT AND BACK OFFICE STAFF to ensure common courtesy, empathy, and respect for patients, like myself, reeling from a cancer diagnosis or other life threatening condition. The highly esteemed Dr. Eugene Dula and his colleagues have been duly informed of ProHealth horrendous " service". I will never utilize this facility again and encourage ALL reading this honest and factual review to do your " due diligence " and to publish your own concerns on Yelp, Google , LinkedIn et. al. This should be a ZERO star review but Yelp does not have that option. Shame on ProHealth. read more

BILLING RUNAROUND The service provided to my wife was fine. Prohealth is in-network with my insurance. The EOB from my insurance clearly stated that patient's responsibility is $0. However, 2 months later Prohealth sent me a $200 bill. My insurer advised me to speak to Prohealth and have them forward the bill to them. I called Prohealth and communicated the above guidance. They stated that Prohealth cannot do this, they cannot originate claims (clearly a false statement), and that my insurer has to contact them. I was advised to schedule a 3-way call with them and my insurer to resolve this, and to have my wife on the line as well. Clearly Prohealth is not happy with the contractual rates/adjustments they agreed to with my insurer, and are simply attempting to get additional payment from the patient. read more

Someone was supposedly sick (the day before Christmas Eve). Ok it happens. Rescheduled me for the following Monday. I have a new doctor and needed my imaging and reports from ProHealth. I called in advance and was told my CD would be done in 30 minutes. I went 3 hours later and my CD wasn't done. I now have to wait 15-20 mins. I called in advance so I didn't have to wait. The girls at the front were nice but really didn't care my CD wasn't done. Do yourself a favor and go to another provider. Waited a month for an appointment. Drove 25 minutes and was 5 minutes away when they called to tell me that they needed to cancel. Could I come 3 hours later or mid-day the following week? When I asked if I could come in early in the day due to my work schedule, they said they couldn't accommodate. Liberty Pacific was much more accommodating. When your Doctor provides you with an imaging request, do not automatically accept the referrals. Ask for at least two imaging centers so you can shop around and never wait beyond two weeks for an appointment. For all you know a delay can be life threatening. Do not use this facility. read more

I took my mom to Pro Health Advanced Imaging so she can have an MRI scan. She was nervous at first because it was her first time but the man and woman MRI techs were professional, kind, comforting and caring. Horrible service. Waste of time. I called to make an appointment and was asked a series of questions prior to making the appointment only to show up the next day and be told that they aren't capable of providing this type of service for a particular body part. Not only that, but the front desk person and a tech waited at the desk until I finished filling out my paperwork just to tell me I couldn't be seen...and then hand me back the paperwork I just filled out. At least show a little courtesy and tell me I can't be seen instead. Zero consideration that patients also take time out of their day to make these appointments just to be turned away. Either more training is needed for these people to make more educated decisions or they just don't care. read more

Came here today for a CT scan. I got here early and they still took me in for my appointment before the actual time. The staff are friendly, and they have a nice waiting room. I was in and out a total of 20 minutes. Parking is free which is always good, and it was easy to find the place. I would definitely come here again, as most places have long waits. I liked the staff and it seemed I got the appropriate imaging and report. My beef is that I had to go twice at 3 week intervals to get an MRI. The MRI room is disgustingly warm. You need a shower after you are done. It feels like you're cooking in there. Apparently the air conditioning is not working properly and 3 weeks later it still wasn't. Until they fix it I would try to find somewhere else to go. read more

Let me start by saying that tech was excellent. 5 stars for him. Front desk and phone service are the worst!!!! They hang up on you and place you on hold for soooooooo long. My report came and looked like a lazy template. Also my first and last names were completely wrong (this inspite of them having my ID and insurance cards in hand). Choose Radnet instead. I hope the tech finds himself at a more professional MRI place. DO NOT GO HERE! I will def me re doing my scan. disappointed. read more

Easy appointments here and Xrays are walk-in with little wait. If you need an Mri or CT best to take your doctors recommendation for a center as i've been told by several Dr practitioners that their equipment is old and not up to par for these super important tests . that's the only reason for 4 stars . The front office staff are really nice & the technicians also. They tell you every step that they are doing. Not sure if they do any special prep for people who have claustrophobia . Thankfully i can always nap though the mri or ct scan & so I have no issues there . read more

Then told they are open from 8 to 5. So I show up at 8 am and, yes they are open but X-rays aren't open until 9. And they are closed in the middle of the day for lunch. I have been getting Xrays, CT, and MRI scans done here for years. For a nice looking and convenient location, they are terrible, as a company, about handling some basic services. Lately, it's been impossible to get them to answer their phone. I've been phoning them multiple times a day and finally got them after trying for 4 days. They claim that their CD writing drive in their computer to make copies of xray and other images that I need to take to a Dr's office, is broken. It's been broken for over a month. I was able to drive 10 miles to a sister location to get the CD and now that I need another CD, I am told that location's CD writing computer is also broken and that I need to drive 20 miles to still another office. In the past, they also made mistakes on my insurance billing that led to my being responsible for hundreds of dollars in charges that should have been paid by my insurance. The backroom technicians and Radiology Dr's have seemed to be very good. I'm certain they are capable of better service. read more

Go anywhere but here. First they gave me incorrect instructions to fast and when I arrive at the appointment they said I needed to drink 32oz of water instead. They told me to come back another day. So I come back for the second appointment, follow their instructions and when I get there they say that I have to reschedule again because their machine was down. They claimed to have called me yet I had no voicemail and no missed calls in my call log. The girl at the front desk was completely unapologetic and unprofessional. This review is for the MRI. There are nice and caring people in the medical world! I had to have an emergency MRI on July 25th at about 3pm. They had an appointment on a Sunday. I wish I knew everyone's name. I was greeted by a very pleasant young woman. The gentleman who performed the MRI was amazing. I could not walk, so he practically had to carry me to the machine. He was chatty enough to keep me calm and was very careful to not hurt me as he placed me on the table. He kept me up to date on the time left for each part of the exam. I was in and out of the building in under 45minutes with a copy of the MRI. The test takes about 30 minutes. Thank you to this kind employee! read more

So when the receptionist, staff, and technician are super nice and accommodating, it shows that they are customer service driven, and want to provide a good experience. Pro Health is a necessary evil in that everyone going has a problem it's just a matter of degree? Pro Health isn't the happiest place on earth but they do a good job being professional, patient and understanding. Sadly I'm kind of a conissouerur of sorts as it relates to diagnostic labs as a former athlete I have been poked, probed and filmed from head to toe. This joyous visit was for my knee which confirmed an ACL tear which for those keeping score at home will result in my second ACL and fourth knee procedure overall. My orthopedist Kerlan Jobe Group uses Pro Health among others and they do a very good job. They are efficient, accommodating and thoughtful which all work well in this environment. My only issue is the front desk staff is young which sometimes can make it a bit challenging in that nobody is happy to be there and nerves are already frayed. In addition my MRI machine was an older model so no earphones or music is available to pass the time. The turnaround is quick usually same day or next day results back to your doctor which helps. Unless of course you know your body and can read facial expressions when your talking with your technician and you can surmise the findings on the spot... Good luck and I hope that for whatever ailes you or brings you to Pro Health that the result is what you hoped for and the absolute best result possible for you or your loved ones... read more
