My son and his friend went on a trip with this company we were told that the trip would be rescheduled they were very disorganized

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS! I chaperoned 60 kids as a parent chaperone and a staff member. They have "nigh security" that actually terrorizes children in their hotel room. Sam Lara specifically had at least 20 boys in full on tears as he was yelling at them, slamming doors, banging on doors, etc.. it actually felt like "scared straight" except these were good kids that were supposed to be on a field trip that was strictly fun. I as a staff member and parent chaperone was "not allowed" to see my child to give him nightly medication. Sam shouted at me and scared all the children. They were only allowed to interact with him. Not call any teachers or parents. Then on our last night a boy got sick in the night. Threw up everywhere. Called "night security" 4x but night security was asleep and didn't answer and the children were LOCKED in their rooms for 3 hours with vomit everywhere and no cleaning supplies. The guides treated everything with fire and brimstone and the kids were stressed the majority of the trip. Between long boat rides where kids are vomiting to "bonfires" with homeless people. Never again! This is incredibly dangerous. read more

Sabrina was an excellent host/guide/leader for our 5th grade trip to Bisbee/Tombstone. She enjoys kids and connects with them. Thanks for a great 14 hour trip that was well-planned and enjoyable! read more

Ghastly and utterly dehumanizing experience with project exploration. I accompanied my daughter's 4th grade class as a chaperone to San Diego. 1) there was absolutely no learning in any of the activities 2) guides were passive aggressive, spoke poorly to parents/teachers 3) there was no access to water or food. Our group went 8 hours without access to food and we had to scrounge and beg for water in between stops. 4) safety - They wouldn't let kids load on the bus and instead had 30 kids stand in oncoming traffic in a parking lot for 10 minutes. Parents weren't allowed to tend to their kids in other rooms. They would lock and tape kids doors shut if there were no chaperones in rooms in the name of safety. Our windows were bolted shut and our ac unit was not working. I could go on and on but the whole design of this company is to run a camp on the cheap, ply the kids with candy with no regard for learning, experience, or addressing human needs like access to water and food. read more

Canceled our trip due to Covid. Not their fault but they never gave us back our money. I have called and emailed many times. Very dishonest.

I went on a trip with my brothers school as a chaperone through this company. We went to San Diego and stayed on the living history boat in November. We also went out on a boat the next day for more fun! The drive up was great. All the kids were having a great time watching Disney movies and listening to our trip lead Dustin Kuczak cracking jokes and explaining the trip to us. The kids all loved him! Our bus driver was very friendly and the bus was very clean. Dustin made sure we got where we needed to be and made the trip run very smoothly. It made chaperoning 45 middle schoolers very easy. I would definitely recommend this company to other educators! We had a great time and really appreciated all the help and guidance from our trip lead Dustin. Keep up the good work!! read more

HORRENDOUS! Thank God I was on the trip with 5th graders from Oro Valley, AZ to Anaheim, CA. I would advise to never use this company. I can not believe they have been in business for 41 years. The bus company is also owned by these people, American Explorer Motorcoach. 1. My child under bus- no one from Project Exploration locates me to tell me or even apologize. head count not done at Civil War. Parents told to let riley Farms take over. Why did bus company allow kids and parents to be under the bus from the loading at painted sky to all parking lots? The precedent was set that kids could go under there. Also, driver should have been the only one to close the doors not a parent trying to be helpful 2. Bus (1) unsafe and out of commission- air brakes not working. Everyone transferred to other busses. Kids 3 to a seat one Bus (3) and Dustin admitted to entire Bus (2) that he sat on the floor. 3. Bus (2) door unable to open while still on the way to California. Bus issues caused at least an hour delay. 4. Get to Fudruckers around 8:30 pm. We should have been at the hotel at 8 pm. Utter chaos. 5. Hotel- Room 133 had no security bolt, busted off the door. Shower had a dent in the floor and a mushy spot. 6. Hotel- Night security- does not properly respond to kids being scared. Night security does not properly respond to kid being in abdominal distress with diarrhea. Mother present and in hotel was never called. Another room called night security and no one answered their call. 7. Hotel rooms not in a secure hallway and any member of the public can access doors. 8. Morning of Disney kids forgotten in their room by night security until bus is loaded. 9. Confusion of meeting places after YES class. Some parents told to go to Compass some told to go to Toon Town. 10. Bus (1) again has mechanical problems, no windshield wipers in rain on Ca freeway. Group transferred to 3 busses including one from another district. 11. Bus (2) child has non stop diarrhea after In N Out. I asked for a pit stop for the kids near border- told no stops till Phoenix. 12. In Phoenix I ask Dustin to clean up bathroom- He pulls a face and is pretty put off by being asked to do his job. I ask if he has cleaning supplies, his supplies are paper towels and now the smell is ghastly. Parents try to find our own deodorizer. 13. Bus (2)- AC only works on one side of the bus for the whole trip. Not much of a problem until bathroom starts to smell. 14. Riley Farms is mud soaked to rain. It is colder than expected. If staff of PE knew it was raining why did none in the stop at Walmart or the dollar store for rain ponchos? 15. Lunch of hard tack, an apple and jerky not enough food. Luckily parents bought extra food for the kids. 16. Dustin presented buying IN N OUT as an act of graciousness and not an apology for all the bus break downs. 17. Arrive at school at 10:20 PM 2 hours late. read more
