I chose Project Management Academy because of it's guarantee to run. Once I signed up for the class I had access to Project Management Academy online training portal. It is like an on-demand virtual class available any where any time. Registering for this class also gets you the lasted version PMBOK book from PMI. I took the class and felt that it really prepared me for the exam. There is a 30 day pass guarantee meaning that you have to take your test within 30 days of taking the boot camp course and don't pass they will reimburse you the test fee. But don't worry after the boot camp and some effort on your own you should be fine. I should have planned better because I took my boot camp the week after thanksgiving and KNEW that there was no way I would be taking an exam in December. WHAT WAS I THINKING???? This is when the online portal became my life line to success. I studied the online information with every spare moment I had. So reading the PMBOK and using the web site kept the information current. PMA provides you with every tip and trick you need to ensure your success when you take your test. You have access to a data bank of test questions that really mirror the type of question you will see on the exam. I took my PMA class in Philadelphia, and Jim Stewart was the instructor. I took the Project Management Professional (PMP) review class from the Project Management Academy in July 2012 in Valley Forge, PA. Overall it was a great class and the instructor, Asad Haque, did an excellent job in prepping me and my classmates for the PMP Exam. I paid for the class out of my own pocket. The class had a fast but reasonable pace. The materials were clear and well organized. Great summary handouts! I did follow-up studying by reviewing the Project Management Academy's online materials including sample exams that were included as part of the class tuition. I did watch the online tutorial videos several times on my weak areas, used the class materials and notes, and took their on-line sample exams. I got audited and that slowed me down a bit. The audit went well and the PMI Org was fair and responsive during the audit process. It was pretty cool as our class email chain shared their successes of passing the PMP exam. I passed about a month after I took the course even with the audit. Thanks Project Management Academy and thank you Asad for making it a positive and worthwhile endeavor. I took a 4-day bootcamp class through Project Management Academy, this was after trying to do project management classes online. The classes, materials, instructor were EXCELLENT! Or instructor Roger Jennings did an great job taking us through the different processes of project management. Not having as much experience as some of the other students in the class i didn't want to be left behind, but the instructor was so good to answer all questions no matter what level we were at. And my instructor was also available the weeks following the boot camp to answer my questions as I studied for the PMP test. I recently passed my PMP exam. In preparation, I completed a Project Management Academy 4-day PMP "boot camp" that gave me the required 35 hours of project management education/training which is one of the prerequisites to sit for the PMP exam. my class was held from Oct 14-17th, 2019 @ the Hyatt House, King of Prussia. Project Management Academy PMP boot camp was exactly what I needed. I was able to pass the PMP exam on my first attempt only 3 weeks after attending the boot camp. The format enabled me to better organize myself when studying. I loved the recorded modules on the website that I was able to view after my class. I just passed the PMP on my first try! The PMP exam was the most difficult test I have ever taken. It's a 4 hour exam with a difficulty level rivaling a college level physics course. I passed, and I only passed because I took the PMA prep course. They told me what to study and how to study it, and found time to answer my litany of questions even after the course was over.
