I chose the 4 day, in-person Bootcamp, located at a local hotel. The hotel was nice, the training room was very comfortable. I had no issues with the venue, except for the cost of the class some donuts or cookies would be great. I think that could have been done for cheap. The trainer was smart, nice, engaging, and full of energy! His style of teaching was refreshing and fed us stories to keep us alert! However, Bootcamps are tough, so Stephen knows this and does a great job responding to the stress of it all. I passed the PMP after taking the class and that is the most important piece of this review. I took it in October and passed in December. The material that PMA teaches is the same information the test is based on. They have nice handouts with all of the main terms. The only downside is that the class attempts to condense a large body of knowledge into 4 days. In my opinion, the class should be longer or in sessions, but that's just me. At the end of the class I was very tired and probably didn't retain much. The real work, for me, came the months of studying the class material, after the class. Note, you will need to look outside the class to learn the information deeper. The only reason I am giving 4 stars versus 5 stars is the Authors of PMA material could do a better job teaching the "Mindset" of the Project Manager and explaining how each knowledge area is connected in real world terms. Yes, the test is Utopia, but explain that Utopian world, so that we can really see it. Other than that the material and the PMA student portal is packed with pertinent information that will help you pass your PMP.

Various scenarios were presented and helped to reinforce knowledge. Newer AHA guidelines were presented, which is helpful. We had adequate time for hands-on practice with real-time feedback. I will refer colleagues and lay family and friends to consider CHASE for BLS. The sign up was easy with a lot of class options. Received my certificate on the day of class, which is helpful to provide to employer. If they offered ACLS, I would be interested! I highly recommend CHASE!
