I am so happy with my results from my Prolean program. I do not understand any of the negative reviews I have read on here. My husband and I did the 12 week program and we were very successful! You eat a lot of food , at times I couldn't eat it all. You take supplements to help you stay healthy while eating a lot of protein and healthy options. This program definitely works , if you follow it. There is no way you can fail unless you don't do what it tells you to do. I lost a huge amount of visceral fat and weight. We felt great after the program was over. The group of people you see are all professionals, including a doctor , and a nutritionist and are available to help you the entire way. I would recommend this program to anyone seriously interested in losing weight and keeping it off. We have kept our weight off for over a year. We are healthy and slim and our arthritis has greatly diminished. We are not young either. We are in our 60's and thought it was too late to lose weight. After years of eating "clean" or what you would consider healthy, I ran into a big road block. I could not lose any weight no matter what I tried. Cutting portions, cutting out carbs, exercising and cooking meals at home. My husband, however, was benefitting from all of my healthy meals and was able to lose weight and keep it off. How great that was for him, and how terribly depressing that was for me. No sugar, no carbs, small portions and I was actually gaining weight. Discouraged and deflated (sometimes crying in my closet after trying to pick out an outfit), I still continued to do what I thought was right and not change anything that might risk my overall health. After about a year of aching joints and feeling off, I ran into a friend of mine who had just lost about 35 pounds. I asked several questions to see if what they had done was #1 healthy, and then #2 sustainable. I did not want to "yo-yo" or do something like eat artichokes and olives for 6 weeks (and I really like artichokes and olives!). I saw this add on Teri O for a $49.00 DEXA Scan that is normally I think $249.00. Please understand that I had tried weight watchers, Red Mountain Weight Loss and on my own the no carb diet. I failed miserably on all of them. I also almost fell over at the initial price of Prolean until I realized that I had spent the same amount with each of the ones that failed me mentioned above. What I figured out is the reason I was overweight was I am so undisciplined and eat whatever I want to whenever I want to that it would take a program that explained why, how, when, and had someone that would hold me accountable weekly. I have tried everything there is out there, let me tell you." "It works. You just need to trust the process and follow it." It was with skepticism that I embarked upon my ProLean Wellness journey, but after only two weeks, I was beginning to see the difference. The pants I kept telling my husband I shrunk in the dryer each week fit nicely again. The food preparation I had been loathing each week was very easy: protein and low glycemic veggies at each meal. After a few years' worth of working hard and plateauing results, I was looking to make a change in my health and fitness so I signed up for a DEXA scan at Prolean. My thought was I'd get a baseline via the DEXA scan and then come up with some magical plan to get off the plateau.   I was in decent health, worked out a fair amount already, and thought a I ate relatively well.  My problem was that I didn't have a great understanding of how it all worked together though. At the end of my scan Jeff told me about their program and I was intrigued.  What was most intriguing to me is that it wasn't something gimmicky, you get the expertise of a doctor and dietician, and there's ongoing accountability. I left there, did some research, sent Jeff a bunch of follow up questions, and liked everything I heard. The reality is that I wanted results and was ready to do the work.  I just needed some guidance and a proven framework. I then began my 12 week program at Prolean and can't say enough how positive my entire experience was. First, the Staff is all so very nice and genuinely vested in your success. They'll encourage you, challenge you, and teach you things you didn't already know yourself. Most importantly about my experience though, I got results. I lost 35 lbs., saw a 39% reduction in my body fat, and feel so much better than I did before.  It simply wasn't realistic for me to understand all of this and do it myself, and I'm so glad I was able to work with the team of professionals a Prolean to make it happen. I exceeded my most aggressive goals and left there knowing so much more about how my body responds to everything I'm doing to it. The program lived up to everything he said. I lost 40 pounds in 9 weeks and 35% of my body fat!!!! This program is not easy. Pro lean wellness changed my life forever I went from 232lb to 190 lb. in 4 months and Gained 10 lbs of muscle. I have been at 190 lb for 3 years now and I am in the best shape of my life. I am a actual client of Prolean Wellness. I started my journey in changing my appearance and the way I live my life August of 2012. When I started I weight was 252 lbs. All my blood panels were in the high to dangerous areas. I saw first hand the results from a friend of mine who had lost about 40 lbs. This company fraudulently advertises "lose up to a pound of fat per day" (see screenshots below). I paid $1997.00 up front and was told that I was going to lose a "lot of weight, and very quickly". Well, I didn't, and it actually exacerbated a medical condition I have in my esophagus, so I was literally in pain for 6 weeks till the owner kicked me out of the program for my constant complaining. Week after week I was given one excuse after the next as to why the program wasn't working. All the supplements I may need "based on my body" were supposed to be included, however, I walked out the first week having spent $245.10 on "strongly recommended" additional supplements. I spent a total of $517.06 just to them alone, plus several hundred more to other companies once I got smart and figured out how much I was being overcharged. Of course, some things you can only get from them, so you're stuck. And if you don't take them, they'll use that as one of the excuses why their program doesn't work. They'll also change the rules on you in the middle of the game, again to justify why the program doesn't work, have you swallowing massive amounts of supplements, many well over the Recommended Daily Allowance and consuming substances like Sulphur and diatomaceous earth, which is something I use to kill bugs on my houseplants. As a last ditch effort to placate me, the owner gave me a free jar of his MitoKit, and when a week later, I had actually gained a pound, and of course was less than happy, the nutritionist told me she was tired of dealing with me, hung up on me, and the next day I received an email from the owner, kicking me out of the program and offering m$500.00 of the $1997.00 I paid (citing administrative costs) on the condition that I return the unused portion of the *free* supplements he had given me! I am now back on prescription medicine to heal my esophagus...a condition that I successfully managed for 8 years by proper nutrition...all I wanted was to lose the 10Lbs. or so of lingering fat, and expected to get what I paid for, and what was advertised. read more

I started the program with my wife Sandy, around March of 2017. I had been retired from the military for quite some time. While I tried to maintain some sort of physically active routine, a back surgery (L4 and L5 fusion) and a slow digression into bad eating habits took their toll on me. I don't usually write reviews, but after seeing some reviews it was hard to believe they actually went to the same office as I did. I have gone through a 12 week program with Prolean and have lost over 45 lbs. I thought the staff were always very friendly and helpful. I also looked into other local diet centers and what I liked most about Prolean was they didn't expect you to starve yourself with a 500 calorie diet like the others. The book you receive has rules and specific guidelines for each phase of the program. Each section was full of really good tasting easy recipes. I was very impressed and loved that there was such a variety of foods to choose from. What I also liked was they were very good about making sure you were not losing muscle and just losing fat. You see so many diets that are low calorie and do not watch the amount of proteins so you end up skinny with no muscle. I did notice from losing some weight that I could see my skin slightly getting loose. They carry an amazing product that is a body cream that totally firmed up my skin and actually smoothed out the areas on my hips and legs that had some cellulite. I was so happy with my results during my first program that I am starting again and I should hit my goal weight by the end of this program. I can't wait to see my final results. This company is out for money... your money. This is a combined HCG-Atkins "Vegy" Purge program. The weight loss is legit but here's their scam: They sucker you in with statements like, "The nutritionist will work around your schedule and be flexable with your dietary needs" and "You will be given everything you need from our doctor". After that you sign up and and set your first appointment while you have blood drawn are scanned. This is the reality after signing: The nutritionist (whom I doubt is legit) pulls up a computer program that basically fits you into a select very few pre-chosen catagories based on weight, gives you a revised Atkins list of vegys you can eat and says you can eat so many grams of vegys and must eat them 4 or 5 times a day and only so many grams of meat protein. She then explains that a gram scale (convieniently sold there) is required to note the amounts and, when asked, cannot describe the volume (another clue that she doesn't use the program herself, since anyone on it would know exactly the portion size that's proportional to the gram weight). She then states that the weight loss guarntee is based on notating every gram of food eaten on a daily basis 4 to 5 times a day in addition to other notation and check-in requirements. You will then be seen by a doctor who reviews your blood test results and revises your diet further to compensate for things such as diabetes, food allergies, cholesterol, etc. She may also add medications to your daily routine to compensate for the aformentioned, some of which are NOT provided as part of the program and must be paid seperately. The secretary is supposed to gather the supplies/meds and provide it to you but she often conveniently "forgets" and thus you must make an unnecessary trip back or pay an additional fee to have it mailed to you or you won't lose the weight fast enough. Don't pay thousands for this program. Don't even pay hundreds for the HCG itself (at least it's the real thing). Try one of the popular diets that work for you like: South Beach, Atkins, Jenny Craig or something like that. Yes, the HCG will SEEM to work at first but the reality of it is that it's the rediculously imballanced and unhealthy diet that is resulting in the weight loss. Over the 12 week program, I lost 25 lbs and inches around my whole body. With so many weight loss/wellness centers in the valley, Prolean is the best in the valley and the results prove that. They are knowledgeable about the weight loss process and really know what they are doing. Being such a skeptical person, I was hesitate to do the program but after struggle to loose the weight after my first child I was desperate to try something new. Regrettably Pro Lean Wellness insists the customer pay the full cost up front and also requires the customer sign a contract with limited flexibility. I took the HCG which they sell, but I now know the HCG has a limited success. Initially I thought I would be able to adhere to the strict menu plan of protein 4-5 times a day, but it was too difficult for me. I'm now with another company and have lost twice as much weight in half the time. Scottsdale Weight Loss also offers 20 classes to train and motivate the client to maintain their weight loss. You also pay each week as you go with NO CONTRACT. You may pay more in the long run with Scottsdale Weight Loss Center, but the program is easier for most people with better support. Read all the other negative reviews for Pro Lean Wellness. I would NOT recommend this company because of their inflexible contract and full payment up front. read more
