I've never seen anyone apply nail polish without lots of cleanup where polish got onto cuticles or skin! He had it right the first pass. Also he applied many more thin coats of polish including a base and two clear top coats. Then he free handed a design on my middle finger perfectly free handed. The predicate was thorough & super relaxing with a hot water bath and the massage chair going. My toenails were really long and thick...no issue with getting them trimmed down and making sure. No I growing on the sides. I wish I remembered his name. Hopefully I can get future appointments with him despite that. He was the only other tech working plus the owner. It was quiet and peaceful as a result. The salon is beautiful with comfortable chairs including the pedicure spa chairs. Everything looked new. They are very good at sanitizing their tools and spa basin. He was masked for my safety. I had sticker shock when they quoted me $100 for my services. But after this experience (actual cost was $92 including tip) it was priced fairly even though higher than I pay elsewhere. Music was House and I felt upbeat listening. All in all, for a small town this feels like a big-city business in Atlanta, San Diego or Omaha. Highly recommended!

I watched them use the same tool on a woman's toes and fingers. No cleaning or disinfectant used in between use. The shop is very dirty in general and they allow their children to run around. I called them first and got a price over the phone for hair and nails. When I got there, the place…read morewas VERY nice. They didn't go out of their way to make me feel comfortable or anything. No small talk or chit-chat. But they were speedy. That was the ONE star. The nail tech talked me into "GEL" nails instead of the usual acrylics that I normally get, saying that they were the same price (I assumed the price I was quoted on the phone). She assured me that they are just as strong and last just as long as my usual nails but are kinder to your own nails. Okay, fine. Her work was not exceptional but do-able and she had to have her boss come look at them to see if they were okay. Then on to hair, I have very short hair and two colors. It took forever and the hair professional came to check on me very rarely while under the dryer. She wasn't a big talker and did just an average job to be honest. 9 days after my hair and nails, one nail has popped off and my "color bleeding" is still very visible. It has not washed out with multiple washes. Oh and at the register they charged me about 60 dollars more than they quoted me over the phone and I didn't ask for anything more!!!! BUT, how can you throw a fit inside of an upscale crowded salon in the middle of the day? Guess I should have! Will not be visiting this salon again.
