Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Alex at Promex Tax. I honestly hate doing taxes and had no idea what I was doing, but he made it way easier than I expected. He explained everything in a way that actually made sense and didn't make me feel dumb for asking a bunch of questions lol. The whole thing was super quick and not stressful at all, which is saying a lot. I also ended up getting more back than I thought I would, so that was a big plus!! I really appreciated how patient and real he was about everything, it didn't feel rushed or like he was just trying to get me in and out. I entrusted Promex (Tony manager/ Celina preparer) with preparing and filing my taxes, but unfortunately, they failed to submit them on time and have since gave me the run around of playing phone tag looking for answers as to why they were not submitted in 2022. O have called the office this morning and spoke with Tony who gave me the employees number who no longer works there to ask why my taxes were not filed. It's very unprofessional as a manager/ owner to not give me answers when he has access to his system. This place has now been completely unresponsive. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via phone, I have received no communication or updates. This lack of professionalism and accountability has caused me significant stress and penalties from the IRS. I would strongly advise others to seek a more reliable and communicative tax preparer. read more

I've been doing my taxes with Anthony for several years now and I have always been happy with their services.

So unprofessional. The person on the phone hung up on me cause I wanted to make sure my appointment was right. Not only do they miss your schedule appointment. But are rude and unprofessional. Why make an appointment if they don't take you. Also change the person on the phone cause she obviously doesn't care about the customers. I originally rated them on 11/20/2010 under "Andrade Notary" because that was the only company name that came up under the address listed on their business card. I just want everyone to know what a nightmare this company caused me and my family! I can't say enough about the owner Tony Andrade. He is always so professional and is always giving us the best of advice while still being professional. When we seek him for any tax purpose, he welcomes us with patience and seems like he's always very focused. We have been seeing him for over 9 years- recently my husband opened a business and Tony has also lead us to all the information we've needed to file for his business. This man knows his stuff! I don't have experience with any of his other workers but I really recommend him for any tax or real estate questions and filing in the Bay Area. 5 stars for Tony! read more

My boyfriend and his mom both have done their taxes with Lupita for two consecutive years and they recommended me to go to her for my taxes this year. They insisted I must only file them with Lupita (since there are many other people working in that office) but I initially didn't realize why they were so adamant about me filing my taxes with her. Therefore, I started off with Anthony since Lupita was too busy to take me in that day. He was quite helpful and explained things to me that I didn't know before. Thanks to him, I learned a lot more about the forms I had brought with me and what their implications were since prior to that I walked in completely clueless. He was so patient in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. However, I was missing certain info that prevented me from filing my taxes with Anthony that day. After I collected the rest of the info I needed in order to file my taxes, I went back, but this time Lupita was available and since she was so highly spoken of I decided to ask for her again, and I am so glad I did! She was super thorough and took her time with me. She finished off what Anthony and I have started and I could not be more grateful for her and her knowledge. Both Anthony and Lupita were super helpful! But now I can see why Lupita is so highly recommended, she's super sweet and will really take her time with you.
