SO here is the scoop. The last time I went into this office the lady that was there BY HERSELF was name Dee-awany (I think, I probably butchered that, sorry pronto lady). ANYWAY, she was great. She seemed very comfortable which made me feel comfortable. It really took away the nerves you usually feel when dealing with a new employer. But here's the deal. I have been to all three offices that pronto has. This chick and Christine in Gaineville were both great. However, I recently went into the Denton office and the guy that I have seen in Decatur when Christine is out was there and even though I spoke to someone the day before about an open position all of the sudden he says they have NO OPEN jobs. Yea right. Not honest at all. I have sat in the Denton office and watched him talk crazy to the people who work there, I have watched him treat people waiting differently. Clearly, you need to be on his good side to get placed. (I was told he is the guy who is "in charge of everything" there so take what you will from that. I have a friend who has not only not been paid on time, but also recently tried to go to the doctor only to find out that her insurance (which the premium for comes out of her check weekly) had been CANCELLED. Did anyone at pronto notify her (or anyone else for that matter) about this? NO! Just like the paycheck, no one even knew that there had been a mistake/issue untill she called to complain. (With the paycheck, she called at 8am when they opened and was told she had to wait until 11am, when she called back at 11am they did not have an answer for why she didn't get paid.) The people who work FOR pronto seem like they are good folks but the people running this place are dishonest and unethical. I would not advise using this staffing agency. read more
