Wasn't too terribly impressed.... I ordered a huckleberry mule- it was mouth puckering/eye twitchingly tart, hardly any ginger beer. I didn't even end up finishing it before I just ordered a beer... I ordered the shrimp tacos- a basic bland taco [looked pretty but] was a total let down in the flavor department. Really needed some stronger flavors like cilantro, pickled red onion, maybe a mango salsa and MORE sauce (couldn't even taste a sauce)- Though the worst part was the corn tortillas, they were super greasy (not necessary at all, all they need is a little dry char) and fell apart easily. The hubby ordered the steak and tot burrito, can't remember what it was called. Sounded like an interesting choice but turned out to be super delicious! LOADED with flavor! Only thing I'd suggest there would be cut the steak into smaller pieces to make it easier to eat. Side note, their dilly ranch is really yummy. Being brand new to the Tri Cities and not super hopeful about finding a cool place that I'd like to frequent, I was PLEASANTLY surprised on a recent Sunday afternoon to find this place. We walked and served sat us immediately with menus. Within seconds we got water and utensils. I strolled over to the bar and chatted with the bartender for a bit; I shared with her that I'm sugar free and am always disappointed because bartenders blow me off. She made me a cucumber infused vodka with basil and fresh cucumber chunks soda! Chefs kiss. Smooth and yummy. Our food was also super good. We ordered the salmon with the cous cous. One teensy feedback is I sense the fish was farm raised and I much prefer wild caught. But I might have missed that in the menu description. Not gonna knock any points for a preference thing. Great lunch with a fun decor for our group of three. It was a late lunch after picking up our daughter at the airport. Since it was getting late for lunch, she ordered the house salad with chicken and was genuinely surprised by how large and generous it was. Super bummed with this place. The ambiance was nice. The service was good until it got busy then we didn't get seen as much but understandable. The food was alright. I'm more concerned with the extra charges. We had two that seemed unreasonable (although there were more than 2) I ordered their plant based burger option and it was an extra $5 to switch it to beef. Not sure if that was an accommodation fee or what but sure wasn't worth that. Next, we ordered my child some Mac & cheese. We didn't know they had a kid menu when we first arrived but later informed they just ran out. The waitress said they did have the option for kid size Mac and cheese and if he would like fries or fruit with that. I told her fruit. Well I thought that was included with the kids meal but got charged extra $4 for fruit. Just seemed crazy to see extra charges for 2 simple things. Finally got to try out this new restaurant in local area and was pretty pleased with our meal. We started out with their specialty drinks and it was good. I'd highly recommend the drink with the mangos. Sweet, but not too sweet, and pretty strong. Loved, loved their smoked pork nachos. The tortilla chips are homemade which is a bonus. Their chips are on the thinner side which is my favorite unlike many in restaurants which are so thick. Really enjoyed the layers of flavors with the queso blanco, black bean purée and the cilantro crema topped with their smoked pork. Definitely a winner in my book. We tried their fish and chips made with cod in their unique batter as the waitress explained. It's not your standard beer battered coating. That is true. It's quite crispy and flaky, not doughy like beer battered coating. Not sure it's my favorite batter style but didn't matter because the highlight of the meal was the quality of the cod. It was thick and tender and just scrumptious. We also tried the ahi poke bowl. It's picture perfect to look but not great to eat. First, there's not a lot ahi tuna to enjoy and it's not pre-marinated like most poke bowls. The sauce is on the side to dip or drizzle but if you eat the tuna itself, there's really no flavor. The top layer is pretty which consists of about 20% of the bowl and below it is all quinoa and mixed greens. There is no way you can mix the content of the bowl so once you eat through the top, you're basically eating plain quinoa and greens. For me, I wouldn't get this again. I'd wait to get poke at a poke restaurant even if I have to find it outside of TC. The staff and service were great! Prompt service and they checked on us many times. Great food, pretty terrible service. I was here the first week of June '22 after several recommendations, and I'm very disappointed. Watched while the angry little blonde bartender (don't recall her name) served the male guests that came in after us. Then she proceeded to sanitize other tables that people were NOT waiting for, instead of sanitizing the table my sister and I were waiting at, and it was obvious we were waiting for it to be bussed. After almost 15 minutes of this behavior (wanted to see how long it would take her) ANOTHER GUEST AT A TABLE got up and grabbed the cleaning rag to wipe my table down. (What a gentleman!) I've been bartending/serving/managing restaurants for 17 years-I understand being busy, which she was, but the lack of attention to our table is inexcusable. *Note: the tables that I watched her sanitize before ours were never seated again the rest of the evening-they could have waited. She had a bad attitude and it was SO obvious. Plus it really irritated me that she was nicer to the male patrons than the females. The manager needs to recognize this weakness and address it. Traveling through the Tri-Cities and stopped in Pasco, being really tired of fast food, I wanted to find new fun dishes and flavors to try. Checking through Yelp, the photos caught my eye, so I checked the menu and being a Friday night we placed our order to go. We arrived early, and every worker checked in with us while we were waiting to see that we were being taken care of, I could see that their customers were a priority. We ordered and shared the fish tacos, which had a great flavor and the Honey Pecan Shrimp bowl. We couldn't help but grab some shrimp to nibble on and it was so delicious. Came in on a early Friday evening around 4-4:30. There wasn't too many people sitting maybe 3 tables. The service was good at first waitress came right over with waters and asked if we needed anything else. Shortly after the hostess came over with menus. She handed us two new menus and one that was written in and had food all over it (obviously used). I kind of shrugged it off but did think it was weird with COVID and all. My wife and I ordered some side salads, shrimp tacos, and the Mac and cheese. First the side salads. These are very good but not worth $6.50. I would pay $4-$4.50 for a salad this side. Second the M&C this is bomb. Very good, a must try. Came out hot and very yummy. Third the shrimp tacos. These were good also, pretty spicy though so beware. They come with chips but not enough pico for the tacos and the chips to enjoy. For the most part our service was good. Could of been a little more quicker with filling waters, and checking on us but wasn't horrible.
