I made a rather large deposit through the drive-through. The clerk informed me that $400 would be available immediately, with the balance of the $8000 to be available the next day. This was perfectly understandable and acceptable since it was a personal check I was depositing. It was a check written from my husband's credit union acct to my personal account. Sure enough the next day my account had the whole $8000 available for my use. Three days later they pulled the $8000 back out of my account with no explanation and no warning! Nothing was posted in my documents telling me where my money was. It wasn't showing as pending it was just gone! When I called in to find out where my money was the customer service agent was horrible to deal with. She would absolutely not give me any information other than "it's our policy to put large deposits on hold, which is our right". Which I completely understand, however, they already did a one day hold and had released the money to me for 3 days! When she couldn't convince me with her message of the "hold" she then said that the person who owned the issuing account rescinded the check, so it had to be returned to them. She didn't know it was written by my husband, and I knew she was wrong. I demanded to file a formal complaint. After talking to several different customer service agents and getting a different story each time I was informed that although they didn't know where my money was, they were confident that it would be in my account 10 days later. I guess it would happen by magic because they were certain they didn't have my money. Well, the money did show up, 3 days after I really, really needed it. That was the straw that broke this camels back. I opened up new checking and savings accounts with a different bank the day after I had the money returned. I could be wrong, but I strongly believe in my opinion that what Wells Fargo did constitutes theft of funds, which would be a federal crime and I plan on checking into it.

They refused to accept our instructions over the phone and required two people to drive across Dallas to personally sign a statement that we DID NOT want to renew the CD, and if we did not do it today, it would be renewed and we would not have access to the money for another six months. Do NOT do business here, and if you do, close your account asap.

In Cedar Hill branch there is an Alonzo VP who is rude as any human can be. He is condescending to women atleast black women. He shows zero interest in your concerns. This bank has deducted money from our business account on more than one incident stating only that our account was 1 digit off from another person account and he (Alonzo) recommended we change our account. Now mind you, we have been with them 20 years! To change banks especially when your business gets paid by the government would be a disaster! Last incident is my daughter and I both received a text from Citizen Bank alerting us that my daughter had tried to send an Apple Pay to me in which I do not have an Apple Pay account. She went in person to see what was going on and Alonzo refused to show her the print out of the transaction. When she returned to work to pull it up the transaction was no longer there to be seen. Alonzo act as though it was no big deal that he had taken care of it. Things can get very suspicious there at times, one can't help to wonder is there inside fraudulent activities taking place. I'm not accusing anyone I'm just saying. He has never been helpful, concerned, nor apologized for the different mishaps. Beware of Citizens National Bank of Texas in Cedar Hill. Another thing to watch for is when you log into their site to leave a review, it tells you that you must first log in and when you log in, it then tells you that you have logged in...to open an account. Beware of all the trickery. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, and co workers to stay clear of this institutio.
