I strongly advise against working with Amy Wang at Samson Properties. This was the worst real…read moreestate experience I have ever had. From the start, her sole focus was to collect her commission. During showings, rather than evaluating the property's condition or the neighborhood, she simply watched my reactions to gauge if I would submit an offer. She then pressured me to increase my bid just to win the contract, completely disregarding whether the home was actually worth the price. Once the contract was signed, she completely disappeared and entirely abandoned her fiduciary duties to me as a buyer. She expects the client to do all the work while being verbally and emotionally demeaning, and she becomes angry if you express any dissatisfaction. From start to finish, she provided zero actual service. I even had to drive her to showings because she never once offered a ride. Rather than fulfilling her professional obligation to advocate for my interests, she made no effort to negotiate the price, investigate the condition of the house, schedule the home inspection, or manage the closing process. When we found out the property plat was missing, her excuse was that the seller's agent was "hard to reach" and that the "seller doesn't have to provide it," instead of actually following up to find a solution. Her incompetence completely messed up my closing schedule, and she didn't even apologize. At closing, she didn't have the house keys, making me get them from the seller myself. During the final walkthrough, instead of actively representing me and protecting my investment, she acted merely as a passive middleman forwarding messages, pressured me to close, and deflected blame onto the client the second anything went wrong. If you are an inexperienced buyer or know her from church, be warned: she will take advantage of you. My situation proves how profoundly unfair the real estate system is. People like Amy Wang do not deserve a 2.5%+ commission. Buyer contracts need to protect the client by clearly stating that if an agent refuses to provide actual service, the client does not have to pay the full fee.
