I've never had a bad meal, and the service is always spot-on, with a thoughtful system that lets you signal when you need something without ever feeling rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with great music, fun events, and a family-friendly vibe that makes it easy to relax and stay awhile. Whether you're inside or enjoying the outdoor seating, it's just an all-around great experience every time. Easily a five-star spot in my book.

Our day started with a Chinese tea ceremony in the barn and then a catered lunch. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

This is an awesome destination on a beautiful day for the views alone. The sprawling hills of…read morevineyards and orchards speckle the Marlboro landscape. The Tasting Room also has some of the best chicken wings in the area. They come fresh out of the fryer so crispy and flavorful you don't even need the dipping sauces. They do have a sauces if you'd like a little extra flavor. The selection is honey BBQ, Thai Chili, Carolina BBQ, and Buffalo. The wood fired margarita pizza is very tasty. We also had the smash burger with shoestring fries. Outstanding! The staff here is super friendly. To drink they offer a few local craft beers and cider, some of their own wine and refreshing frose which looked so good. They whip up a frozen rose wine concoction which will keep you cool on a hot summer day.

The views are picturesque, especially during the fall with the breathtaking colors! I love that this winery is family owned and operated! The patio is awesome with different seating options, fire pits, and heaters. A great place to relax, enjoy the views, and hang out. This place is really spacious and offers different seating areas, from the grass with picnic tables, the patio, and the tasting room! The only thing that was disappointing was they only had one restroom, during busy times, there was a line. They had live music on Saturday, pretty chill and fitting for the vibe. The drinks: I got the wine flight and so glad I did. I was able to add the froze in the flight. All of the wines I tried were delicious. The froze was amazing! Since it was a little chilly, we got the warm spiced cider with bourbon and it was so good and kept us warm and cozy. Everything I tried was on point! The food: Shoestring fries tossed in everything but bagel seasoning was surprisingly really good, who would have thought! Big enough to share! The wood fired pizza was perfect and really good! Try the Margherita, it was fire! The wings were great, big and full of flavor! The food here is really good, they have a food menu full of so many delicious flavors! I wish they offered more gluten free options! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offered suggestions and were very knowledgeable about the wines. Overall this was an awesome and relaxing afternoon at this winery, my group and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Family friendly and group friendly. I highly recommend this spot! Can't wait to get back here!

-1st Visit to Ocean Vineyards was almost 3 years ago. The…read moretasting room was a small housing area in the back with outdoor table and chairs. At that time, the flights were served in "glasses" as they should be. Please see attached photos. -7/4/25 (2nd Visit) We came for the Fourth of July holiday. When we arrived at the winery, we noticed the winery appeared to be much larger. Later, we realized that this was an addition to the original tasting room. We came to the counter. I asked if they had wine flights. The young woman informed me that 4 tastings were $20 and 6 for $30. She was absolutely delightful. So we chose the 6 for $30. This flight was given to us in "plastic containers". I'd like to say that there were quite a few people in the winery. However, I noticed that they didn't order flights. That being said, I think they could've taken the time out to have the flights in glasses. After ther flight, I ordered a "glass"of the Traminette $10. It was served in plastic cup. I did mention to the server that it should be in a "wine glass". She poured the wine from the plastic cup into the glass. (At this point, the plastic negatively affects wine by altering its taste, aroma, and overall quality). I'm sure "management" has given instructions to their employees on how to serve wine flights etc... So I'm not faulting the servers. During our visit, we shared a chicken sandwich. It was very good. All the servers behind the counter were very courteous and sweet. My issue is with the management. I don't know what happened from a couple years ago to now, maybe management change? My photos from almost 3 years ago, show the flight served in glasses, not plastic. Anyway, we did have a very nice visit despite the issue with the plastic. The grounds of the vineyards are very nice to walk about. We did walk back to the original wine tasting building. It was totally refurbished from our original visit. A large picturesque tree stump parking lot is in front of the winery. Oceane Vineyards has a lot of wonderful potential. Some of their wines we thought were good. In fact, we purchased a very nice bottle of 2017 Riesling $30.00. I would've given the winery a higher score, if the flight and glass of wine weren't in plastic.

Chester, NY - we were here over Mother's Day weekend and enjoyed such a lovely afternoon! The…read moreestate is sprawling, with sweeping lawns, a spacious brewery & restaurant housed inside a beautiful converted stable, a tasting room, and of course, vineyards. The tasting room is easy to miss as it's in a house in the back, and felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem as most people were out by the barn. We arrived before sunset and enjoyed sipping on a flight of 6 wines while watching the sun go down. The views are scenic and serene...one can imagine almost being transported to the hills of Italy. As it was the cusp of twilight, what was really neat was that we got to see the sunset on one side and the moonrise on the other. For our flight, we tried the following wines: Whites: 1. NY Hibernette 2. Cali Chardonnay 3. Riesling Reds: 1. California Rosé 2. California Pinot Noir 3. Cali Cabernet Sauvignon The rosé was probably my favorite, so clear and fragrant, and we took a bottle home. John who I think is the manager (guy with shaved head and goatee) was very personable and came by to check on the customers and chat, and told us a bit about the history of the place. The property is 200 acres and is a passionate project of the owner Tom. There is lots of space for littles to run around and explore, with some games and toys set out for kids. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and there was a band playing. The rustic aesthetic of the barn is very cool, with several stalls to hang out in if you wanted to retreat to a more private space, and an event hall upstairs. We got nibblish toward the end of the evening and the kitchen was about to close, but they were kind to still take the orders of a couple of late stragglers like us. The food is typical bar fare, good enough for sopping up alcohol. Staff were all kind, welcoming, and accommodating. 5 stars for the fantastic atmosphere, hospitality, and experience. Located near Sugar Loaf and Warwick NY, with plenty to do in the area!
