The sauerkraut balls were delicious since it was rich in flavor and crispy. The jagerschnitzel was also delicious, crispy, and the portions were decent. The peach German-style cheesecake special was not too sweet at all and they seem to make desserts in-house unlike many other restaurants. There's even a small store that I should've checked out more, and it was decorated like an old-world restaurant. Overall, I would go back to this restaurant again.

I crave this place often. It is a go to spot for myself and coworkers. The service is always great here and the food is always fresh and delicious. I know they said they will be moving soon, so we will keep a lookout for the new location and can't wait to see it. I love that we have a great German food spot here in Wichita! I have never had anything bad here and each time try something new. Their desserts are incredible too. So if you're even contemplating whether you want a slice of cake or not, just get the cake! It is probably the best slice of cake in Wichita! Can't wait for the new spot! Cheers.

What a fun casual German restaurant in downtown Wichita, I would definitely return to on my next trip. I came in for lunch and it was pretty crowded however, the service was still quick and genuine. I mistakenly ordered a HUGE mug of beer...so be aware when they ask you what size you want if you say the larger of the two you are getting yourself into a very big pour. But, I wasn't complaining! I love a good Hefeweizen, when it comes to German style beers this has always been my favorite. The banana and clove flavor profile wasn't overpowering and it was very drinkable. As far as food goes, the prices are very fair for lunch and they had a good number of lunch specials on the menu. I tried the FLAMMKUCHEN which was a very approachable appetizer akin to a flatbread. The soft supple caramelized onions and salty crispy bacon complemented each other very well. It went fantastic with the beer. For my main dish (I didn't get a picture of) I chose the CURRYWURST & POMMES. This also isn't anything too formal, it consisted of sliced weisswurst in a tomato based curry sauce. If you're afraid of spice no need to be scared of this dish, it has spices but isn't hot. On the side is good old fashioned fries, again another hearty dish that's good to pair with a massive sized brew. Next time I visit I'll try one of the many bratwurst they make in house and have on the menu and some German potato salad. They have six different kinds of brats: Beer, Knackwurst, Cheddar, Andouille, Weisswurst, & Ghost Pepper. Even if you aren't familiar with German food there's something on the menu here for you!

Digging deep into websites to find "must eats" as I don't know when I will be back to Kansas led me to this place which was so freaking... hard to find. I ordered: 1) side salad - loved how it was less than $5 - variety of flavors - Germans sure love their dill - it's not very consistent because I realized many tables did not even touch this plate but yet has 2-5 radishes whereas we only had 1 slice of radish - I am the type to always ask for the dressing on the side as I feel salads are always oversaturated with dressing...but their dressing was nice and light (oil vinegarette vibe) 2) bratwurst teller - you must pick 2 sausages from a list on the bottom of the menu - waitress recommended cheddar and andouille but I really don't like cheese so I opted for bratwurst and andouille - andouille was beyond salty and zero spicy - again not very consistent because the menu and other photos show there's a side of mustard but we never received the mustard - you can customize your side dish as it comes with warm sauerkraut but I guess the waitress heard wrong because I wanted to try both the sauerkraut AND warm German potato salad - the side sauerkraut was an extra $3 - pickle provided a nice palate cleanser from the salty sausages 3) half beer and half soda - three flavors: lemon, raspberry or grapefruit - server said raspberry was the most popular - I opted for this drink because I was driving and I rarely drink so I didn't want to run into any problems - it's a palatable sweetness and you can barely taste the beer - carbonation is present - matches somehow with the dishes Ambience: - it's a definitely relaxed and very, very, very chill vibe - lots of beer and mugs on the wall - very German decor Service: - omg it is slower than slow than slow can be BUT I realized this to be true in every German restaurant I've visited (I've been to one in Ohio, one in Virginia, and this one) - they love taking their sweet time creating their dishes (definitely try the "J" dish... the one with fried pork because that's what they're known for and I didn't get it because I had fried foods all day) - took them 3 minutes to get a bowl of sauerkraut... to the point we were crossing our fingers they forgot - felt ignored and had to hail them down every. single. time. If we wanted/needed something (aka bill, napkins, etc) Parking and Location: - lots of parking spots - easy to park as they are very wide spaces - this place is so freaking hard to find and you barely notice it from the exterior (I wished I took a picture of the architecture/exterior!) - there are multiple EXIT ONLY doors but there seems to only be one ENTRANCE on the other side of the parking lot LOL - RESTROOMS ARE OUTSIDE - multiple adjacent stores (it is its own mini plaza) - I believe this joint has two floors as I also saw the servers physically going up and down the stairs (props!!) Definitely a great place to try if you are in Wichita, Kansas. It hits all points as if you are in Germany. I subtracted a star because of the service (not only soooo slow but particularly not confirming if correct dishes are being ordered, location (more signs perhaps?), and food (the salt and the consistency...).

Food: 4/5 The food was pretty decent and that only somewhat made up for it coming so sporadically and feeling there was inconsistency between the waiter, food runners and, the kitchen. It made for a somewhat disappointing and incongruous meal regardless of how tasty each dish was. Service: 2/5 Our server forgot parts of our order and did not put in our drink orders and we had to remind him. He also didn't bring all of our food together so we ended up eating in shifts as some of the three of us had some of our food before one of us had any. It was really awkward and made dinner uncomfortable since we either had to choose between being polite and having our food get cold or eating it while hot as our friend looked on with nothing (not even his drink order had come yet). Ambiance: 2/5 The bench seating was uncomfortable and they warned us not to sit near each other or it would collapse. They sat us next to the upstairs patio door, so we were constantly being bumped by servers and customers as well as being cold.

How cool is this German bar?? We stopped into Prost located inside of Revolusia and had a fantastic time sipping on the Pilsner kranz. This spot has numerous steins throughout the building as decor as well as inside of personalized lockers that you can leave your stein in for the next time you visit! Along with German beers, there are delightful meals on the menu for you to try. Stop by Revolusia to see all of the unique German businesses inside of shipping containers!

Prost is our home away from home. We have been Stein members since they opened. Austen and Manu, are some of the kindest people ever, their children are just as amazing. They ask about my kids and family and everything in between. The food is mouthwatering and gives a very home cooked feel. It's comfort food at its finest. We have had numerous events there, graduations, funeral dinner, birthdays and more.

I've heard so much about this place, so we went there for late lunch. The place was not hard to find. It has a great atmosphere and the service great too. Our server explained to us the menu and made recommendations. The food was good!

Very good food, friendly service. It's a restaurant in a coop area of repurposed shipping containers. Park in back, walk along the street side to other side, and it's on right side; You kind of walk in a C to get there LOL Indoor and also outdoor seating is available on the top of the building.

I'll preface this review immediately and say if you're looking for a German Biergarten this is the place. In that regard it is wonderful and a great experience. If you want to sip on a giant boot of beer and a sausage or some schnitzel it's just the place. The service was good enough and ambiance are fun and strike a balance between a restaurant and a bar, would absolutely go back. I recommend sitting on the patio. A wonderful little slice of Germany in Wichita. All of that being said if you're looking for a nice quiet sit down I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.

Excellent food, good beer, cozy dining area, generally good service. A little bit pricy, but that's just life in 2026.
