Filled out paperwork & was seen within 10 mins. I went to my room , had some X-rays. Doctor came in & was very kind & explained what he would be doing & how it should go. He numbed me up & got that tooth out so quick I am so thankful to the front desk receptionist Andrea who was kind & checked me in. Keyanna (idk how to spell her name) was the assistant & she did great & was good company to have during the process. & Dr.Benjamin I believe was AWESOME at getting my year long problem tooth out in a cinch! The first time I visited, they said they found some jaw bone misalignment on my X-ray, and referred me immediately to a specialist. PCD's X-Ray/conclusion turned out to be incorrect. Also, during a cleaning, one dentist said that everything looked fine and I didn't have any cavities. But then the next doctor swooped in and was like, "you need a filling". Ugh. Lastly, I needed a thick bite guard made for my TMJ, but instead I received a thin retainer, even though I have straight teeth. The hygienist was even confused by the discrepancies of the notes made by different doctors on my file. Oh, and one time I checked in and was waiting for a little while, when the receptionist called me on my cell phone to tell me I was late to my appointment. That one is actually kinda funny (but kinda not).

At Snelling Ave Dental, I have always felt welcomed being there from checking in at the front desk to sitting in the patient's chair. Everyone is extremely friendly and loves chatting with patients when they're up for it. (Pro tip: Talk about food. They LOVE to try new foods and share their foodie experiences.) I've visited here for a total of 3-4 times over one year, and I like how seriously they take their work here. During checkups, the doctor informs me of ways to improve my brushing and the spots that might need more attention. Something that's super simple, but I've never been told by a dentist what spots I haven't been reaching. Besides checkups, I also had a mouthguard fitted because I constantly clench my teeth when I'm stressed. It was a pain-free process, and they checked my insurance coverage and gave me a quoted price before initiating the whole process. Their communication is amazing and there was no confusion. I'm really sad that I can no longer go to Snelling Ave Dental because I moved out-of-state recently, but I'm so happy that I was able to find a dentist that I was satisfied with.

What they are is a middle man to American First Finance (AFF), a personal loan provider. They'll have you sign up for a monthly loan and even if you pay it every month they don't have the basic human decency to tell you that your insurance didn't cover the whole procedure! I saw them several times from the emergency consultation, the tooth extraction, the bone graft, the bridge implementation months later and several bi-annual dental cleanings and not once did they mention that my insurance didn't cover the first procedure. Meanwhile, I paid every month to AFF and paid for every fluoride treatment for each dental cleaning. They have no respect for the patient. They believe that just because an automatic corporate piece of mail gets sent out that they never have to inform the patient that they owe extra money. No transparency. A bunch of people who are willing to hide behind corporate and put profits over people at every turn. Really would've appreciated the finance department who has a representative in office informing me at least once that this was the case before the bill got sent to a third party! They don't care about your credit score or what you can afford! I will never come back here again.

We had been patients at this practice for several years, and the person who previously managed billing was excellent--organized, efficient, and reliable. Since her retirement, communication has declined, ultimately prompting us to leave the practice. This dental practice also has a North Loop location, which you may have to go to because the Roseville office is only open three days a week, but beware, I was informed that the North Loop office does not accept the same insurance as the Roseville office. In addition, the Roseville office charges "office fees" for procedures that other dental practices do not. What the office fees are is somewhat of a mystery. This makes the billing process confusing, yet responsibility is placed on the insurance company by this practice. If you choose to use this practice, be sure to get everything in writing, record the name of the person providing the information, make sure you know what the actual fees are, and keep all paperwork!
