The thought of arranging transport to the ER felt overwhelming and a little scary. We called Bay Area Medical Transport at 6:30 AM for a ride to UCSF Parnassus, and they arrived right on time. From the very first moment, the entire process was frictionless, professional, and reassuring. The team was knowledgeable, calm, and completely at ease handling the transfer. Their stairchair technology was truly amazing--it made what could have been a difficult and painful process feel safe and smooth. They were hyper-conscientious about my security, safety, and comfort every step of the way. After spending the entire day at UCSF for testing, I needed a ride home and didn't hesitate to call them again. Raymond was the one who picked me up, and he was an absolute 5-star professional--consummate, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I didn't want to take to asking friends who were still sheltering-in-place. So, I did a Google search and found Silverides. They are very affordable, great service and they're insured and bonded as a ride after surgeries/doctors appointments, specifically by Kaiser. Believe me, I tried to state my case to my doctor to have an Uber pick me up and take me home after my surgery. I'm glad I found Silverides it was a great experience, especially after being so anxious and stressed as to who was going to pick me up. Diana my Sliverides' driver was on time, waiting to help me into the car, made sure I was comfortable, and we had the greatest conversation to boot! When I arrived at home she helped me out the car and took my belongings in. So, for anyone who lives solo and is having a heck of a time finding a ride after a surgery or doesn't want to inconvenience friends, or simply doesn't want anyone in your business! You know how friends and family can be! Silverides is definitely a great choice!

I was coming in from out of town and stayed at a facility nearby the surgery center that she recommended (Hideaway House in San Jose- it was perfect), where she stayed in another bedroom. She was phenomenal at making sure I was comfortable, fed healthy, fresh-prepared foods, and took all meds on time. She was reassuring and positive, a professional/expert on all medical elements of the surgery, and just so kind. Her rates were very reasonable, and I really feel it's the best money I've ever spent because those first few days set the tone for a really positive recovery. She kept in communication with my husband, who needed to be back home to take care of our young kids, and I didn't have to focus on anything except recovery. There were two gentlemen assisting her--one was named Cameron and one named William. Both were absolutely fantastic. They were at her home between approximately 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., and I mention that in hopes that both individuals receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding care and professionalism. They made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They were quick and efficient while also being incredibly careful, checking on her frequently and asking if she was okay each time the chair lift moved. I read the reviews on SkyCoast Mobility and gave them a call on Tuesday. I spoke to Mark and he was very helpful and scheduled my appointment with him. On Thursday, I received a follow up call from Casey to confirm our pick up on Friday. Our schedule was confirmed for 12noon and I met Rey and he came in review our apartment building and then came back and had my brother on a Stair Wheelchair. Rey was very kind and made sure my brother knew what he was doing. Rey then got him out on the street and got him in his van. As we all know doctor's appointments are for one hour, however, my brother's appointment was 2 hours long. We were able to communicate with Rey and he came back after his appointment and brought him back home. We will be using SkyCoast Mobility again. This company was highly competitive and had the most reasonable I could find. The other companies were so backed up we had to cancel 3 rides because they ran so late (over 2.5 hrs!) the dialysis center would have closed with my mom still in a gurney! They are always ready and the vans are immaculate. Since my mom's starting an ending destinations are within Burlingame, South San Francisco, and Daly City it really helps that their hub is just in the Daly City South San Francisco area. The other transport companies are located in Hayward in Oakland, which is probably why they would arrive really late and kept extending their timeframe of arrival. I definitely recommend this company!
