‍I've been seeing Dr. Greene for years and can't say enough good things about this office. The lady…read moreat the reception desk was wonderful. Very bubbly and pleasant - it's the perfect way to start the appointment. The facility is very clean and well taken care of. Most doctors office show wear over time, but that's not the case here. I was seen pretty quickly. The woman who prepped me for the doctor was also pleasant. I love how the office focuses on the little extra details in the exam rooms - paintings on the walls, a sound machine with soothing music, even the lower exam tables allow you to be so much more comfortable. Dr. Greene was wonderful, as always. Very throughout and ensures that I felt comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. It may be hard to get an appointment due to her volume of patients, but it's worth it!

I will start by saying I am a patient at women's care of pooler. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant…read moreand have had an on going issue with my twice weekly appointments that I have addressed once already with no change. I have not once, twice or even three times been forgotten about while hooked up to a NST. After the fourth event I spoke with a provider because I left the office in tears about the care or lack of I received. After 45 minutes without anyone checking on me and me calling out for 10 minutes because of the supposed speaker I've been told was in that room to hear me if I needed help. I finally disconnected my self or else I would have urinated in the chair. I then proceeded to use the restroom and cry for 5 minutes and still no one had been by. As someone who has worked in healthcare for 14 years I am fairly confident you can call this patient neglect. And I'm paying $300 out of pocket a week to what? Do my own NSTs? This is not okay and crossing into unsafe. After this 4th occurrence I spoke with a provider the next visit and magically i get checked on and promptly taken off of the monitor after the required 20 minutes. This is short lived though, I come back for an appointment the following week where I get left on my NST for 55 minutes this time. Also calling out for about 10 minutes and having to disconnect myself again. At this point I feel like I should be paid for my services I have provided for myself and for pain and suffering since I leave distraught and spend hours crying about my treatment. This office has a problem. This is not one singular employee, this is problem with prioritizing patient care and safety across the board. I don't care to get anyone in trouble, what I need is for this to change. For the sake of any other patient that does not have the courage to stand up for themselves as I am. If we are making a habit of forgetting about patients in the office, it sounds like we need call lights in every single room. I have left every one of these visits wanting to cancel all of my appointments. Unable to do so since I won't be able to get in anywhere else with such short notice. Being more concerned for my baby's health in this high risk pregnancy than I am about my own mental health, it is very hard it is to work up the courage to even walk in the office sometimes but I continue to anyways.

I had a great experience with this place. The midwives are all great people. They have birthing…read moresuites at their office if you're looking to have a non-hospital birth. Everyone was always kind and appointments never felt rushed. Once you arrive and get signed in, the wait time for appointments is never long. Overall I'd absolutely recommend them! 5 stars

I transferred into Savannah Birthing Center in my third trimester after moving across the country…read more I had done a lot of research on holistic providers in the area and was really excited to become a patient here. At my first prenatal appointment, I sat in the waiting room as my midwife complained loudly to the receptionist that I had not completed any of my intake forms and it would set her behind for the day. It was absolutely humiliating to listen to a medical professional complain to their team about me. Upon discovering that my name was spelled wrong and they were sent to the wrong email, she did not apologize or acknowledge that it was not my fault that these forms hadn't been completed. At the beginning of the same appointment, I explained that I had a history of disordered eating and was not comfortable being weighed. I had not been weighed in 3+ years, therefore I had no pre-pregnancy weight to compare my current weight to. The midwife said she HAD to weigh me, but would hide my weight. After she weighed me, she promptly turned the computer screen towards me so I could see my weight. Devastating. This entire appointment start to finish was horrible. I got only a handful of words in the entire time. She talked endlessly about how overwhelmed she was about their new charting system and opened a can of soda halfway through my appointment. It felt extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. I ultimately left the practice when the midwife received extremely sensitive test results I had been waiting on and did not update me about them for over a week. I called and emailed several days in a row and was dismissed. When she finally emailed me to let me know the outcome of the test results, she noted that I had access to the same test results and could read them myself, as if I am a qualified medical professional and could have possibly understood what they meant or how to interpret the implications of the results. I would not return to Savannah Birth Center at any point. I have not had such an uncomfortable and unprofessional appointment in my entire pregnancy and would not return to a practice where such little regard was held for my health and my baby's health.
