He was very sweet, funny and engaging. we learned about his family history and how the dune tours started, the history of how the dunes came to be, and even about some of the famous people who stayed in the dune shacks. He had books and photographs to show us as he drove us through the most amazing landscape. He was a wealth of knowledge, and very personable. I tend to get a little nervous with off road activities and water, but I felt very comfortable, his skill level of driving in that terrain and his knowledge of the tides, etc made me feel very safe. It was a very chilly night so he took us on a slightly longer ride to the lighthouse so we would end up having a little less time to sit in the freezing cold for the sunset. He even took photos for us. our teenagers enjoyed this tour, and our guide. The sunset was amazing, Rob had chairs for us to use. This is a must do activity if you're visiting, we have already recommended it to several people.

Our tour guide was awesome full of knowledge and facts about Provincetown, the dunes, the beach shacks on the dunes, and the flora & fauna of the landscape. He fearlessly drove us up hills of sand and took cool pictures of our group of 5 at pretty picturesque points. I'd highly recommend it was well worth the time and money.

It was a great mix of historical facts along side ghost stories. The hour was just about 1.5 hours starting on Commercial Street and was just about a mile long. There are plenty of stops in between the walking intervals. Glow sticks bracelets are provided as well as flashlights to enhance the experience. Photos are encouraged along the tour! She was able to accommodate us at the very last minute to make Emily's GHASTLY birthday dreams come true! Angela was an amazing story teller. She presented the history of Provincetown and it's SORDID past in a way that was engaging and enthusiastic. She was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her CRAFT. Our highlight of the night had to be the cemetery where we got to explore on our own and even peak through the windows of HAUNTED mausoleums. To our surprise, this tour exceeded our expectations and was well worth the cost. We saw whales, dolphins, and seals, making the experience even more memorable. The staff was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared interesting information about the marine life throughout the trip. The captain also did an excellent job positioning the boat so that passengers on both sides had a chance to see the animals. There really isn't a bad seat on the boat. We also viewed at least a dozen whales on voyage. They have a whale specialist to identify and provide more detail on the various species. Great for kids. There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.
