Best for those wanting to cook their own Chinese, Thai or even Indian food. A plethora of tea, sauces, condiments, noodles, and spices. Found everything I needed for Pad Thai here (except the fresh veggies), as well as Butter Chicken and a Thai red curry. And the tea! Wowza, don't miss the stuff behind the counter.

Sandwiches could be Hot or cold and I read you could add toppings but they were busy and didn't ask if I wanted anything added, which was fine. I saw they took credit card but didn't realize there was a minimum charge and couldn't understand what they said - then the server turned to the crowd and said something which they laughed at? but I was eventually able to pay and get my Sandwich which I enjoyed by a nearby canal. It would have been nice if the bread was toasted since I ordered it Hot and I didn't find it had too much flavor but it was still filling and nice to try. Store attached to it also had some nice local gifts and food for purchase.

I shopped here last week and during this visit to the supermarket I had a list of things I wanted to purchase. I was followed by a rent-a-cop the ENTIRE time I was at this supermarket! It was upsetting because I had never been followed in a supermarket before- not even in the Asian markets in America! I will not be shopping at this market again, I would rather go to LIDL. Un peu plus loin le LIDL, mais au moins je suis traite avec respecte la. Et ca coute moins cher que Carrefour.

The clothing store is in the bottom part of the store and in my opinion, is equivalent to a Target, or possibly a hut if an upscale Target with decent prices and good selections. I visited 3 times while I was there visiting and each time, I left with some cute piece of clothing. In the back of the store is the home area with things such as towels and bedding. Up the escalator near the back right area of the store is where you go to get to the grocery store. They do have a good variety of things although most of it is in French, although there are some American products. They have a great selection of cookies too! Exceptional wine inventory although I had no clue what I was looking at to purchase. I did ask one person for help but he did not speak English. Make sure you have a decent translator app on your phone. But great dairy department as well! The only thing I found to be lacking was a selection of paper products, such as paper towels. All they had were cheap, small rolls. The carts used for groceries are the basket type you pull with a handle. But great store all the way around and it was nice to find most of what I needed. Hope this helps. Oh and they do have several locations. I probably will sadly never get back to Annecy, but if I do, I will know right where to go!
