Do not get a credit card through them. You cannot view purchases online, you have to wait for a monthly statement. Also, if you want to see a purchase from 3 months ago, you have to save the paper statement to review it. You cannot make payments from another bank, the money has to be deposited into PSE, then transferred to the cc but only during business hours. There have been other problems with this bank but it's too many to list here. read more

PSE Credit Union is not a reputable business. They inaccurately applied my mortgage payoff from a title company to my auto loan, which caused a series of issues, including a lien on my mortgage. Do not work with this company by any means for any large purchases or loans. read more

Everything has completely down hill since it changed to PSE you can't even get q roll of quarters .. I have been three times at different times of the day if you run out quickly order more . No one ever answers the phone so I can call ahead to AK any questions instead you have to go to the branch just to be told what could have been answered over the phone . I recently was changed from Ohio's First Class Credit Union (OFCCU) to PSE Credit Union because they merged. It has been less than one month since they merged and I am very disappointed and unhappy with their service...or more accurately...their lack of service and poor customer support !! They limit daily withdrawals to $300 per day regardless how much you have in your account and charge fees for everything, including a balance inquiry, even when you use a network ATM!! I was with OFCCU for more than 15 years and was very satisfied but plan to close my account and direct deposit of my pension to a bank this week! I read the other customer comments on this site and they were all negative except one. I agree with all of the negative comments and would not recommend this credit union for anyone, especially seniors!! read more

worst financial institution I have had the misfortune of dealing with in my six decades on earth. the website is a complete mess. they keep changing how you make a payment. and it is never intuitive. I have seriously considered refinancing my loan at a higher rate just to stop the incredible frustration of trying to make a payment. read more

Things have apparently changed at PSE Credit Union and not for the better. My friend was a customer there for nearly 40 years. She paid for identity theft protection for years and then when a relative got a hold of her debit card, checking account info, and started draining her account, they refused to pay up. They were fine with collecting the premium all these years but when it came time to actually pay a claim forget about it. The crime was solved and the relative arrested on four felony counts for the crime but PSE still refused to make good on the identity theft claim. If you are elderly PSE is not like it was years ago. You would be wise to withdraw all your hard earned money from this place and put your money into a real bank. There are many good alternatives in Parma. Ted read more

I've been a customer of PSE Credit Union for years. I used to think so highly of them and always enjoyed doing business with them. Loan department was so nice when I was borrowing money from them, but today.....I want to PAY OFF my loan...PAY OFF. What a freaking hassle. Not to mention how condensending and patronizing the Vice President of the bank was to me. How dare you? I moved to another state and paying off a loan and having new address updated on their system is a fiasco. I am deeply hurt how I was talked to and treated. Very upset. I just started using PSE for all my banking this past summer. After noticing ALOT of fees I asked the credit union why I got charged fees for using my card at Walmart and Amazon. Supposed to not have to pay a fee if I select credit as payment method. I got this back "It is the way Walmart and amazon post there transactions no matter if you do it as a credit it is still ran as a debit and charges you." Between having to wait more than 6 weeks for my card which the bank sent to the wrong place, being told I had too wait 6 months to get checks,,Yep definitely switching banks now. read more

Granit, I may not be a PSE Credit Union member, BUT, beware, The customer service and answers I received from this bank, in my opinion, was 100% unacceptable. I live in Michigan, have a credit union in Michigan, I used to live in Maryland, I still have a credit union in Maryland, my family member lives in Michigan and has yet a totally different credit union. I needed to make a transaction happen ASAP on a Saturday afternoon. This was the only co-op credit union open at the time. I started off at their Strongsville Office. The lady at the Strongsville office could not find one of my accounts, where I was planning on taking money out, from Maryland. When I told her to use another account, the one in Michigan, she found it okay but then refused to deposit funds into my family members account without that family member's ID. A copy of the ID on my phone was not sufficient. The fact that I could recite their address was not sufficient, the fact that they were on the phone with him was not sufficient. I had ID to withdrawal funds out of MY account, but they wouldn't deposit into his account with-out HIS ID and a picture he sent me on the phone was not sufficient. In my 10 years of working in the banking field, we never required an ID to DEPOSIT funds. We then changed gears, because there is a limit "PER ACCOUNT, PER BRANCH, PER PERSON" I was limited to $2,000. I asked if I went to another branch and was to pull the funds from the other account, Maryland, if that would be okay. She responded with Yes, you can do that. I then took $2,000 out of my Michigan account. I then drove from the Strongsville branch to the Parma branch. Once I reached the Parma branch, I was told NO, they do not allow their members to withdrawal anything more than $2,000 per day regardless of where the funds are coming from. I informed them I never would have even been in their branch should they have been willing to deposit the funds into my family members account. I have his drivers license on my phone, it matches his account numbers that I am giving you, I have given 5 different credit cards, 2 federal ID's, 3 different government issued ID's, (I work at airports so I have multiple). It is obviously me why will you not allow me to take money out of my own account? They responded that it is because it is "Shared Banking" rules and regulations. I asked to see them in writing. That request was denied. "We don't have anything in writing, it is just the rules". Little do they know, I have 10 years worth of business banking behind me, am a CPA, and Legally they have to have this information in the disclosures for any account holders. I threw that at them, the two people I was dealing with both looked at me like a dear in headlights as if "WOW this guy knows his shit", Nope, we don't have them, you have to contact YOUR bank. I said But I'm not at my bank and you are part of the shared network, and are telling me this is shared network rules, so I want to see the disclosures. They then changed their tune to Well we don't allow OUR members to withdrawal anymore than 2K from their accounts. I responded with, Okay, Can I see that in writing? The answer was, "You are not a member, we do not have to show them to you and we do not have them in writing." Interesting. What do you give your new account holders? Disclosures that has all of this information in them but you can't supply it to me... They said no, we don't have it in writing, it is just our rules and our policies. Um... Okay, so If I am a member of your bank, how do I know my withdrawal limit is $2,000 TOTAL. Not per account, not per branch. (They kept telling me they don't allow their own members to go from branch to branch or withdrawal any more than $2,000 per day). So, how as a member of your branch am I supposed to know these are your limits? I see shady things going on. I strongly suggest staying away from this company as a whole. read more

They have a great staff and an awesome CEO who believe in what they are doing and love doing it. This previous review is obviously written by an employee because I've been "banking" with PSE for about 2 years and will be making a change as soon as I work out the logistics. They are lazy, callous people who don't give a rat's patootie about your money. They have the worst computer systems that go down constantly and find more ways to block access to your money than I could ever have imagined. Online banking? I dare you. It is the rare day that their online system works, then if you call, they laugh at you and tell you that there's nothing they can do about it. I had a teller at the Parma branch actually make disparaging remarks about WHERE I LIVE to my face!! This latest fiasco is the last straw: tried to make an ATM withdrawal for which I received a receipt that said I have insufficient funds (I had well over the requested amount in my account). I then asked for a balance receipt that showed that amount, so figured there are ATM problems. Got home and checked online and saw that they not only DEBITED me for the ATM withdrawal, even though I got the insufficient funds notice, but also charged me a 2.00 ATM fee!! So now I have to take time out of my day and go there and fight for my money. It's always something with this place. I am always having to fight for my money. Sometimes they are closed for no reason and with no notice or not even a sign on the door. I think the Little Rascals play bank showed more maturity than this place does. If you like having control over your money, stay far far away from this place. They will always find a way to screw you up. I hate banks in general, but I hate PSE even more. PSE is terrible, DO NOT GO THERE. I have been with them going on 5 years now and its no perks to it at all. They have so many hidden fees its ridiculous use your card more that 5 times in a month its a $2 each time, if you send something and its insufficient funds they don't pay it and they still charge you $32 the list goes on. I'm a African American woman 24 years old and every time they see me its rude and nasty very sarcastic. I really hate this place and I should have been switched I kept putting it off. I had fraud on my account and they denied my claim the first 3 times then I went in person and finally 2 months later they fixed everything. I applied for a loan because I wanted to start building my credit and I couldn't even be approved for $500, no real reason besides my age and not much credit history, mind you I'm a LPN at Metro Health making 4 times that amount a month. This credit union is NOT for the people like the say, they are a crock of s**t. read more
