I came here because it was close to where I was already at. This is kosher * ada friendly. With a washing station pre meal. It's a little loud because it was a popular meal time. I got the kosher bread thing and the person I was with got the smash cheeseburger the double cheeseburger didn't have cheese. They make kosher nut cheeses. Was told because it's kosher there was none. also got yam fries. The food was soooo good. The short ribs basically melt in your mouth ( it's shredded) the price was okay for what we got because the food was soooo good. read more

I looked online what i wanted to order for me and my family and when we got to the restaurant, we saw that ALL the prices are not the same as their website, and the difference is big. Everything was more expensive. For example: Schnitzel is $17.95 on the website and $24.95 in the restaurant. Has i know that before i wouldn't go, but i was the with my daughter so i bought it. When i asked why is that, they just told me to ask the owner (who wasn't there). I asked for a regular french fries, and when we got home we say a different fries in the box. probably won't go back there as it expensive and not a good service. read more

This is our spot to go out and having a family meal at least once a week, it's a great restaurant with variety of options, Chef OR is a talented chef which combine a culinary experience together with in the budget and quality ingredients. Very disappointing... I've been coming here for years and the last three times I have come in the quality has just deteriorated. Time before last they got my order completely wrong. Last time the food was blah.. this time the sloppy Joe meat was burned and dry. I'm SO sad. R.I.P. the Psy Street I knew and loved. It had been a little while since my friend and I had ordered from Psy Street. I ordered it for us as a special treat the other day. It sure didn't end up being that! What a disappointment. I had had it one time in the interim, didn't love it, but just chalked it up to a bad day. Nope! The food was so different, in a bad way, from what we'd had in the past, that she felt the restaurant had to have changed hands. I called them - she was right! The menu is still the same, but things seemed to be done in a different (cheaper?) way. The Roasted Cauliflower used to have a sauce that was a beautiful blend of tahini and smoky red pepper. Now, it seems like they threw some tahini on the cauliflower and called it a day. Maybe there was some paprika tossed on top of panko, but the sauce is just pasty white, no red whatsoever. It was OK, but nothing close to what it was. Same with the Baked Potato. Just blah. They appear to have done the same kind of hatchet job on the garlic confit. The sauce the garlic was in used to be soooo good. It was so yummy that both of us would buy it by the jar. We got sides of it, and it now appears to be just garlic in oil. It's no wonder they don't sell their sauces by the jar anymore - I sure wouldn't want them! Lol Their seasoned fries used to be AMAZING. Now they're just meh. I think maybe they use fewer spices in the seasoning now. Are we noticing a pattern here? And now, from meh to worse (the "only meh", not horrible was why the rating was two rather than just one star) The Crunchy Shroom used to be my friend's absolute favorite thing we ever got going out to lunch anywhere. It was now just heavy and super oily. I tried a bite and didn't want any more. She ate more and had a badly upset stomach. My lunch was the worst offender. The Miso Salmon Burger used to be great. Don't know what happened, but I opened the box, and the fishy smell was overpowering. I tried a tiny bite. It was AWFUL. It went directly into the trash. The mushroom followed. After lunch, my stomach didn't feel so great either, though not as bad as my friend. I'm glad I stopped myself from the latter two items. One bite of the mushroom and an almost bite of the fish was enough for me to be done with those! Needless to say, that was my/ our last visit with our once beloved restaurant. All good things come to an end, I guess. I feel the loss on this one. read more

Had the shnitzel burger and the beef burger with fries and we did the loaded with garlic and truffle potato. Nothing was disappointing! The food was delicious and filling. I also have to give credit to the various sauces they have, I love adding and dipping more sauces! I got a lamb burger and a cup of water which cost me almost $20. No sides. The burger was rather smaller thanI thought, lamb was tender and well seasoned. The bun and the rest ingredients were very mid - like green tomato and iceberg lettuce. The service was good but the venue was completely empty on thursday evening. No, this place is great. There's no question about it! When they switched, the ownership, obviously switched some flavors and some taste but at the end of the day, it's not bad at all. I have not really been there ever since the owner with ship change so I cannot vouch for it as of yesterday, but I know that in the past the past was good. read more

I ordered on the phone using their online menu. Once I was ready to check out the price which I calculated was around 60 dollars but was actually 99 dollars according to the clerk. I asked how's that, and the person said our prices on-line where old prices (on company website ). So they don't update them and it also seems like a 40 percent increase as well. Seems like you have your following , however, updating your prices should just be an ethical business practice. Especially on your own company website. You have no right not honoring what's listed. read more

I always wonder why this place change owners so often after today's visit I understood why.do not go to this place this place became fucked up place .unless you are Jewish, you might be treated differently. The stuff is uneducated not knowing anything about customer service young kids. I have waited for sweet potato, fries, and lamb patty only patty for 25 minutes while there was two parties after me that being served before me. I parked outside easily and walked right into this cool environment. I noticed how clean and organized everything was and decided that I would sit closest to the door. I ordered the Miso Salmon burger which came with caper aioli. It was so hard to choose between all the appetizing options on the menu, but I know I will try other items when coming again. This Miso Salmon burger was amazing and it had a great ratio of fish, vegetables, and bread. I felt even healthier after consuming it and will definitely get it again someday! read more

This review is for what I ate - not what my son ate. The restaurant sits in a semi circle of businesses right on Ventura Blvd. Not near enough parking for the number and type of businesses. There are several food businesses there. The restaurant was bright and very clean, including the one bathroom for all. The menu is on a board above the cashier area. The woman who took our order at the counter was very nice and helpful. I ordered something I had never had before so I can't compare it to anything but WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! It was a a baked potato with truffle aioli and garlic confit. It was a small potato (I wish it was a lot bigger), cut in half. There was the truffle aioli with lots of garlic confit. It had a few sliced scallions on top and it was topped off with a terrific tasting sauce. I had thought that the price ($10.95) was high when I ordered it but not after the first taste. It is probably the best thing I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It was so good I ordered a second one to go so my husband could also taste it. My son ordered the chopped salad. It look very fresh and inviting but he found the dressing to too lemony. I wish I lived closer so I could taste more of their offerings. read more

I love the food but they just have sporadic hours. Some days they will be open and then on a random Monday they will be closed at 9pm but still taking online orders for some reason. I will not be going back unless I call ahead while standing outside the store to make sure they don't randomly close for the day. read more

This would be more like a 3.5. Located in a little complex, parking can get tough pending on what time of day you arrive. The kids meal is a nice size and comes with fries. My friends meals did not come with fries so they ordered extra sides. The buzzer rang and we had to go get our food. One of the workers did clean up out trash. The burger was a little bit dry. Psy Street Kitchen is a modern Israeli fusion spot with kosher options out the door as well as tons of gluten-free options. They pride themselves on a mission to redifine kosher burgers (and then some)... And they more than are! I've passed by here many times and it wasn't until 2022 they became a favorite for me and hopefully you too. Definitely blown away by their vegetarian and many vegan options, including the new Impossible Vegan Sloppy Joe! Eggplant mess is a yes and very gluten friendly. Market salad... Wow... In Psy I super trust. The yam, seasoned and classic fries are all a must! They have Sloppy Joe Fries here and my only question is can they and will they do them vegan as well... I lived nearby and watched the progress as the owner and his father spent nearly two years building out the beautiful interior of the restaurant themselves. Everything about Mazal is a labor of love involving their entire family, including menu items that are grown in their orchard. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, whether you are in the dining room or on the patio. I'm back in LA frequently now and come to Mazal nearly every time. In addition to the hummus you have to have spicy tahini (or the new-to-me adorable mini falafel and tahini plate). My other new favorite I'll definitely have again is the shawarma oyster mushrooms, air-fried and served on cannellini bean purée with mint chimichurri. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You don't want to miss the bourekas (the assortment of five cheese bourekas is something I dream about), the maghrebi potatoes (on tahini!), and the marble halva (take it home if you don't have room after all of the aforementioned must-haves and thank me later).

I ordered from PSY burger earlier this week through Postmates. I ordered their classic burger, coleslaw, and sloppy fries. My food arrived cold although I only live 1.7 miles away (according to GPS). I also did not receive the correct burger and the order contained no utensils, sauces, or napkins. The burger didn't taste good at all, the temperature could have had a lot to do with it. The coleslaw was great and the sloppy fries were not bad at all. I wanted to give them a second chance today, so I was going to order again but before I did I tried calling them beforehand to make sure they had what I wanted in stock so they wouldn't send me the wrong items. Whoever picked up the phone didn't let me speak and then hung up on me. The call lasted a solid 10 seconds. I don't think I've experienced this bad of service in a while. Flabbergasted. --- I think the food here is good, otherwise this place wouldn't have such a high rating. There is no doubt about that. I was excited to try this restaurant, which is 45 minutes away, based on their website's claims of offering gluten-free options. As someone who is both gluten-free and dairy-free, I thought this place would be a great fit, especially since it's a kosher meat restaurant, meaning it would naturally be dairy-free. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I arrived, I discovered that "gluten-free" meant only lettuce wraps--there were no gluten-free buns or bread options available. To make matters worse, the French fries, which I assumed would be a safe option, were drenched in panko, making them unsuitable for anyone with gluten sensitivities. Also the corn was $6.95 for one piece and over steamed. If you're gluten-free, I'd recommend avoiding this restaurant. The website's gluten-free claims are misleading, and the options are severely limited. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and misled. read more
