I found this studio a few months ago when I decided to reinvent my July 24th for 2025. Last year on this day in 2024 I had surgery to remove the extra skin after losing 165lbs from 311.5lbs and the surgery I came home and unfortunately started bleeding internally and had to go back to the ER for additional surgery in total I lost 4 pints of blood and needed a transfusion. That day I spent most of the day stressed, panicked, unconscious/ in surgery for 10 plus hours unsure of what came next. I knew this year on July 24th I was gonna seize the day and do stuff relaxing and rejuvenating. This yoga session targeted stretching and zen through the class . There was a point where she mentioned to let go of the stuff that's behind us and release it and leave it at the beach. That moment felt great to really zone in the waves and everything at the shore to move past last year. The instructor was very attentive and made sure everyone understood each pose and directed us when to breathe. This was everything I needed for today, the beach setting and the yoga/zen. Beginners or advance levels can take this class. Thank you!

Having never been on a web cam before, I am able to use Zoom very effectively my phone or laptop for yoga where Erica and I see each other and speak to each other ... so it is just like having my own yoga instructor right next to me to give me instructions, encouragement, tweaks to my poses. And I can tell her if something hurts or ask her questions ... or just talk. It is so much fun!

Despite oppressive heat and pre-lunch hangriness, it was a phenomenal experience! Totally worth it. Our kids loved the salt marsh trail, saw everything from mud fiddler crabs and laughing gulls (in their wild, native habitat, not the beach), but also osprey, purple martins, a snowy egret (or at least it was white), horseshoe crabs, diamondback terrapins, and others, all in their native habitat. It was incredible!! After that, we went inside to see the displays and they had a touch tank. The volunteers are all very accessible to my kids and they loved asking questions! Hermit crabs, clear nosed skate, whelks, and others I can't remember. The fish tanks were filled with fish from the area, all interesting, and mostly unembellished, which is perhaps one of the most phenomenal things about the place. Some places stand on their marketing mostly, this place doesn't have showy displays. It's tactile, up close, and endemic. My kids had SUCH an amazing time that they wanted to go back more than anything! After that, we went to see the turtle room, and while there was some good learning, there, we hit our limit. So, read: it's a perfect size, not too small, not too big m. You won't exhaust yourself completely here, but you won't be bored. Sure, it's a nature preserve. You've got to have the mindset for it, but if you do, this is easily one of the best zoo/museum type experiences I've been to (and that includes San Diego Zoo, Philadelphia Zoo, and others).

Dedicated in 2000, this memorial is in remembrance of the 191K who served and the 822 New Jersey residence that gave their lives to defend our country. The way that this memorial is integrated into the surroundings is amazing and practical. You can seemingly go from the boardwalk to the street which connects to other historic areas in the city. You can access this by stairs or ramp. The main statue, The Mourning Soldier, depicts a soldier holding dog tags. Behind this is you will find a group of soldiers depicting them being under fire. Under an eternal flame is a wall of names. I at first thought that these were the names of those that fought during the Korean War, but after some research this is where the names of all New Jersey service members that were either killed or missing in action. Another area of interest is the is the plaques of the servicemen awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism during the Korean conflict. It was a nice little diversion and a great way to take in some history.

As we entered to see the sculptures, one of the vagrants was blocking us from taking pictures then began yelling at us. Finally they all shifted to one corner so we could freely browse. I wish I had video of this. The most memorable figures is the 12-foot tall "Mourning Soldier". Basically, the memorial honors soldiers who fought in the Korean War and those who lost their lives. During our short vacation, we realized that the vagrants roam Atlantic City boardwalk with no authority to keep them at bay and ruined our experience here.

Note to those who are running it, please do a better job in promo because this is a pretty cool event. I loved the idea of having this on a beach. One of the best parts of summer is the fact that you get to hang out on the beach in a bikini and drank. With this you get to do all of the above AND jam out to amazing music! As you can tell by the lineup, it's a more niche music fest catering to the EDM crowd as compared to Gov Ball or Made in America which usually have artists from a wide variety of genres performing. I am a big fan of 90% of the artists here and watching each one of them perform live in NYC would've been a huge affect on my wallet. Plus aint nobody got time for that. Side note: The 2015 location was in Atlantic City which means after the music fest - GAMBLING! And all the nightlife that Atlantic City has to offer.
