As I progressed thru the subsequent 7 visits, I could feel significant improvement in my hips, back and spine. My flexibility improved and most of the tightness in my hips was gone. My PT gave me a full workout routine to continue to strengthen and stabilize my back. I'd 100% go back with any additional issues. Billing was fine, I got a comprehensive statement with breakdowns and insurance payments, and online payments were very easy.

I showed up a bit early and Sydney (my Occupational Therapist) was already there expecting me. She was very patient and helpful in finding the right one for me at the lowest possible cost. She also made sure I knew how to take the splint off. She also took time to explain how my injury was healing, so that I knew why I had to have the splint on 100% of the time over the next few weeks. The benefits coordinator (?) Sarah was also great, she had to stay on the phone with the insurance company while helping another patient check in as she came in. No one wishes to have to have PT or OT, but if you do, then SERC is the place to ensure a positive experience for you.

I had to force the issue of effectively treating the situation and it still took them 10 days before they bothered to do the correct treatment that should have been done on postop day 2. This borders on malpractice. Secondly, when I was asked, I told them that I expected to be walking without a cane after surgery. I had been forced to use a cane for about 5-6 years prior to surgery due to safety concerns and the need to preserve what I could of being able to use the knee. My expectation of being able to walk normally was completely ignored. Instead, when I tried to walk without the cane, I was told to keep using the cane. This continued throughout my entire time in rehab. Somehow they thought that using the cane was going to help me be able to walk without it. Even I don't think that's right!! This means that I couldn't really walk when they decided to dismiss me from their care. They didn't care about getting to the correct place; all they cared about was that I could stand and waddle around a little with the cane. That is not good rehabilitation. It is coming up on a year since my surgery and I still cannot walk normally because they never appropriately addressed the problems in my hips that were caused by the use of the cane. Basically they expected me to figure it out on my own. I am going to have to go to a different doctor (not one who is part owner of this facility) and a different PT place in order to get proper medical care. I find that disgusting. I will never recommend this PT facility to anyone. At this point I am unsure if I will ever be able to return to my sport. They do not care about performance. Do they even know what that word means? They only care about money.

I was greeted by a support group of individuals who like me were interested in helping veterans. What I got that I didn't expect was a treatment for my neuropathy. I had stem cell treatment from KS Regenerative Medicine in Overland Park, KS. The procedure was…read moredone May 18, 2022 after processing my stem cells they started the injections. Dr Sigler was the Dr. performing the procedures. I had treatment on my cervical and lumbar spine and both hip joints. The procedure is not pain free and took all day long. I followed their recommendation and took it easy for the first 2 weeks as suggested. Then slowly started my normal activites within the restrictions as stated on the discharge papers sent home with me. I was advised, not to return to normal activies for at least 6 weeks. After a year I have had no significant improvement in my low back and I still have pain in the areas that were treated. I did have some improvement in my cervical spine area, it's still stiff but the pain did improve in this area only. I went back yesterday for an appointment with Dr. Sigler and his suggestion is to try treating the areas again with additional stem cells injected to my SI joint, as it wasn't treated last year. They are now treating the SI joint along with the low back treatments, and again treat my low back and hips. My SI joint is one of my cronic problem areas, I wish it would have been treated last year. Of course this would be at an additional cost of $12,000.00. Needless to say I did not get the results I hoped for!

At our first meeting--as well as all subsequent ones--as the spouse, he addressed me first, shaking my hand, before turning his attention to the patient (my wife). His description of the situation was spot-on. Description of the options we had, and potential outcomes, spot-on. Each subsequent appointment with the doctor follows the same solid and empathetic reading of the patient visit and the options for outcomes. You always have the right to direct the treatment, but he has a guiding hand that is both experienced and attuned to the patient and the patient's family members. Highly recommended. I've learned that after the first of the year he's moving to the Menorah Health System off of 119th in Leawood. Well grounded, honest, experienced in Ortho proceedures.

Both were very patient with me and were able to answer any questions or concerns I may have had as well as solutions. The entire office was very friendly ..making it a comfortable place to go when you may not be feeling the greatest. There were days I didn't feel like doing the therapy, but staff was supportive in pushing you through your therapy in order to assure I was staying on track for recovery. Can't thank them enough!!! Hopefully I won't have to go back ..but if I need therapy again for something, SERC would be my choice as they are sincere in wanting you to succeed!
