He basically knowingly ripped us off. He collected $9000 upfront to buy materials with the understanding material would be delivered right away and work would start. Nothing happened and he mysteriously disappeared for two months. When the work started he would only work about 2 hours a day. A deck that should have taken at the most two weeks to do is still not finished after 9 months. Even worse the workmanship is of such poor quality that it will cost several thousand to redo to make it even safe. Another part of his scam is that he asked for another $6000 to finish the job we had contracted . The deck is only about half finished and he has collected about 80 percent of the agreed upon monies. Worst experience in 20 years dealing with contractors, you do not want to hire this guy to do anything at all.

The new technician told me that no reputable repair professional would ever order washing machine parts from Amazon, as doing so can cause permanent damage. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened--my washer's circuit board was fried, and I ultimately had to purchase a new machine. While he was at my home, he also left his toolbox behind. I texted him about it, and he said he was busy for the next two weeks but would let me know when he could pick it up. After a week and three days with no follow-up, I reached out again for a firm date and time. The screenshots attached show the conversation that followed. He left my home messy and did not clean up after himself. His demeanor throughout the process was extremely unprofessional. I followed up only because he said he would get back to me, and when I held him accountable, he responded poorly. If you need any kind of home service, I strongly recommend choosing another provider. Using inappropriate language toward clients reflects a lack of professionalism and respect. He accused my fiancé of "spreading toxicity," yet the only toxic behavior we encountered was in the tone and content of his own messages. This level of disrespect, especially coming from a business owner, is extremely concerning. Regarding the services requested, we initially inquired about installing a Tesla charger. Immediately afterward, we asked whether he also repairs washing machines, and he stated that he does. He was fully aware that the consultation was for both the charger installation and the washing machine repair; this was communicated clearly, and he acknowledged it. He also mentioned that his company policy prohibits ordering appliance parts from Amazon, yet he asked us to order the parts on his behalf. This alone indicates that he knew the practice was inappropriate. We ultimately had another appliance specialist come to evaluate the washing machine. That technician was visibly frustrated by the poor quality of the previous repair attempt. He explained that a reputable repair professional would never use Amazon-sourced parts for appliance repairs and was surprised by the overall lack of proper workmanship. We did pay him for what he asked for installing the charger, which he did do well. We did not pay him for any washing machine repairs as he did not repair it. We bought the part ourselves because he told us it was against his policy. Overall, our experience reflects unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and questionable repair practices. We discussed what I was looking for, which was a whole house generator hookup, not a six circuit transfer box and hookup. He said ok, I'll be there tomorrow at 9am. So, I told my wife that there wouldn't be power for about 4hrs. So, she planned to be gone running errands during that time. 9am came no show. At 10am I called his number and I immediately got a text from him saying I'll call you right back. Now, it's 3pm and no call, no tex, no nothing. I stated to him I needed to get this done today January 22, 2026. I could have hire someone else to do the job if I had known he was going to not show up and not call. It was very unprofessional and just disrespectful. Even if he couldn't because he had an emergency job or something, a text saying I couldn't make it would have made all of the difference. It would have given me the option to get someone out her to do it. I just believe if you give someone your word, you keep it. If you can't you own up to it. I recently purchased a house in Springfield which was built in 1965. The wiring was ummm, creative…read moreto say the least as the fuse box was built into the rock fireplace wall, right next to the fireplace itself. It was a 100 amp coming off the street to a 60 watt fuse panel, so I needed a 200 amp upgrade, with the fuse box upgraded to a breaker panel and relocated to the far side of the house. A fan and new can lighting needed to be installed throughout. A new circuit also needed to be dropped into the kitchen and every single switch and all the plugs needed to be checked with the majority of them needing to be changed out. New smoke detectors had to be installed and tied together. Oh, and the original fuse box had a dead mouse wedged between the fuse panels just for good measure. Let's just say it was just a super bad scene overall. Fortunately I knew in advance of buying the house that this would need to be done, so I was aware going into it that it was going to cost some coin, but even I was surprised at how bad the electrical issues were. Levi Bonnivier came to the rescue without a minute to spare. He reviewed the situation, went through the costs and requirements of fixing the situation, and then spent the next four days straight rewiring the house and installing the lights. He explained what was required by code, what the inspection process with the city would be. The cost of doing all of this was considerable, but not nearly as significant as I thought it would be, and certainly less than the cost of replacing my house due to an electrical fire. While I was chasing down my painter and other contractors, begging, pleading and using the whip to get them to do what a I paid them for, Levi just kept trucking on, arriving each morning at eight and working through the day until he went home. He never blew off showing up. He never needed checking up on. He was professional, polite, and cleaned up after himself AND my painter who just left debris laying about. I am telling you this guy is a total rock star. Check out his Facebook page, as he documented the work on my house there and he has multiple other videos showing his work. I just can't recommend Levi enough. Best contractor I have ever had bar none!

It's either because he is not knowledgeable or plain lazy…read more Yesterday, the painter I hired explained to me that Levi cut the holes for my recess light halfway to the rafters which is why my lights are not sitting flush with the ceiling. I then went to my shed to show him some more work I needed done in the shed and one of the lights that Levi fixed in the shed is no longer working. The work was done mid April of 2023. It hasn't even been a year. He also was not successful in installing the Ring Camera/Transformer at my home. He had to come back several times to re-do the work that he said he completed in April after I arrived home in July. $21,000 I paid Mr. Bonnivier was not well spent.
