I didn't know about the Quarter for the shopping cart until another shopper told me about it, but that's kinda cool to keep the prices low. The lines are long sometimes at check out, so I like to shop in the morning when they first open. This location is super clean too. I also found out Aldi is a brother company to Trader Joe's...so I'm a fan of that too. Oh, and don't forget your shopping bags, you'll need those to pack up your groceries.

One of our favorite farmers markets…read more We first came here by accident a year or so ago. We were on our way to family in Ocala early in the morn when i knew it was time to stop for some coffee(the wife doesnt do wel without her java). I did a quick search for a spot, and saw a dunkin nearby. I exited the highway and headed that way. as I got closer I grinned. I had never been to the Villages. My gal didn't know what that was so as we pulled up and parked she said, "what town is this". I just played dumb. We walked into the Brownwood square and I had to tell her. She really didn't know much about the Villages so I filled her in. for my first impression it was great. The farmers market wrapped around the square and trickled out to the side streets some as well. They had the usual thing you would hope for like produce and pieces of art made by locals. But it had other things you dotn see often like some more quirky artisans, multiple flower and plant booths, empanadas, and the one that hooked me, a both that had all kind of mushrooms to eat. We swing by here about once a month for the farmers market, and enjoy it every time.
