Anytime that we come to the side of town we typically stop in here as we love that They actually have a bar inside the grocery store. In this particular trip, they didn't have anything on tap that was standing out to us and I do wish they would offer more than one cider option on their tap list. They also have a wine tap so you do have the option between beer or wine as you shop for your groceries. Their produce selection here is pretty good, but because it is a smaller Publix their options are limited. We've gotten some really great seafood from here and in fact, we saw some amazing very large lobster tails that had we not been going to other locations. We definitely would've picked up. We've also found that their bakery items always tend to look really good. Our local Publix bakery most things tend to look like they're burnt or that they've been out for too long. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. This particular location is an older style Publix and is located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. Despite being an older location, it still has a pleasing ambiance. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

Although Publix has just about anything we could want, their prices have become untenable. Other stores offer equal quality at much lower prices. I used to shop there all of the time but now will go out of my way to support smaller, local businesses for the same prices. I also now shop at Aldi which is iffy sometimes. But with a careful eye you can find what you need. read more

We have been shopping at this Publix for many years and had our prescriptions filled there as well. However due to their decision to allow open carry of weapons in their store we will be shopping elsewhere and have transferred our scrips to another pharmacy. Many others I've talked to feel the same. This policy is a disaster waiting to happen...accidental firings, dropped guns going off, and some hot head getting into a violent argument with the deli....it's happened several times...and drawing his gun is not what I would consider a pleasurable shopping experience. read more

I realize there aren't many grocery stores in the area, but this Publix is almost always out of stock of something we need. Seriously, once a week, out of at least one thing. Today it was Zyrtec D, earlier in the week it was a particular sausage, several weeks it was root beer, then it was Tikka Massala sauce, then it was potstickers, it goes on and on. There are only so many times I want to go to customer service to ask for things or get rainchecks. They are also often missing regular price tags and sale signs for items like BOGOs. The staff is always nice ND helpful, but I would prefer not to continually have to ask for things or spend time looking at the circular to verify sales items because they don't have signs up for things. Also, I'm a thin person, but for some reason their front doors aren't wide enough to let multiple people in or out at the same time. It's a very tight fit and often causes congestion getting into the store. read more

I don't think I've ever left a review. And probably won't again. But this was the worst service I have ever seen. 30 mins in line for a sub with two people in front of me. Nelson and Sandra were beyond slow and rude. I asked for a little buffalo and she poured so much and said oops and continued to make my sandwich. slow service is one thing. Publix front desk workers are not paying attention to customers walking in without masks on. These days when the infection is at an all time high around the country, masks should be required. Other businesses are requiring customers to wear them. I have witnessed people coughing, sneezing, and wiping their noses with their hands while not wearing masks. I will go to places that are cheaper where customers wear their masks. I'd rather wear a mask for a few minutes than a respirator for days or months, suffer lifelong consequences, and/or die! read more

Worst publix ever. These employees make you feel like your bother them. Online orders are never on time. Apology is never offered. But can we talk about all the flies in the deli department? I now make sure that on my commute to altamonte springs I get my cold cuts there instead of groveland. What's the point in advance ordering something with a pick up time if you still have to wait 20 minutes past the pick up time? Today I went in at lunch time to pick up some chicken - noon on a Sunday and no chicken was ready. They seriously need some new management to explain stocking for peak times. I'm pissed I wanted a Greek salad, you'd think that the Publix deli would have a nice, yummy Greek salad but they didn't. I've been craving a Greek salad for days now and I was told they had them. I feel betrayed and heartbroken because I wanted a Greek salad sooooooooo bad. I could cry. Tears are genuinely welling up in my eyes because they didn't have them. Deli is constantly slow and terribly unaccompanied. I have worked in a deli before and my entire family works for Publix in the Deli, so I can say this deli is terrible. I call for a sub ringer 3 hours in advance and all I hear is whining about how it's supposed to be 24 hours in advance. Please... I ask for extra cheese and the associate tells me it's extra and I say I'm fine with that. She slouches off like I just told her she had to work hours more. Grocery is rarely stocked of sale items. My husband and I go there and whatever we want, it's out of stock or barely has anything. The whole Publix convenience thing is a joke- I go there to get 2 subs and sides and it takes a half hour! We literally go out of our way to not go there unless we have no other choice. read more

The assistant manager continues to verbally assault me and said she does not care about our nonprofit that they didn't want to see the paperwork. 5/28/22 I ordered On line/ Curbside pickup. Got Home got 3 packages of Hotdogs 2 Boars Head and 1 pack of organic turkey dogs. 1 Boars Head Dated 5/15/22 the Turkey Hotdogs Dated 4/02/22. brought Back to Store. i had to go get them 3 organic turkey hotdogs left were 2 Dated 5/21/22 and 1 was 4/02/22 handed them to meat counter asked if they had anymore these are dated read the dates "Those are okay" and went to put them back on the shelf I replied No they were dated beginning of April last month and 2 weeks ago got the manager "oh yes those are dated 4/02/22 but these are fine glancing at the date I replied again there 2 weeks past due date "oh yup there dated too". Proceed to the deli for Boars head 3 left 2 we're dated 6/04/15 and 1 5/15/22 took last 2 boar head went to customer service had to pay $3.10 extra for it. They said it was Insta Cart fault no one was sorry, no discount. I guess I will be going to the new Publix in Minneola. read more

By far, a great overall experience. I always feel extremely exuberant to go grocery shopping, especially when I'm not broke. On this occasion, I was looking to get myself some cookie dough, however, I'm quite new to the area, and each public is a little bit different so I asked an employee (his name was Matt) where I could find the cookie dough. As he told me, he said raw cookie dough is the best way to eat cookies. At that moment, I knew that Matt is my kinda people. After that, we had a short conversation and I greatly appreciated is amazing sense of humor and eagerness to help. Quite a remarkable experience if I do say so. read more

We bought a sirloin steak from the meat case 11/3. It was a good LOOKING piece of meat. Tonight we discovered that it had so much gristle as to be inedible. Looks like takeout burgers for dinner. I don't know who supplies Publix meat, nut it really has gone down in quality.. read more

I have never had any issues with this store. In fact, they even started stocking an item I requested. I have ordered online from the deli and items were ready for pickup as promised. I have never used their pharmacy, so have no opinion on it, but every interaction with other departments has been up to Publix high standards. read more

Grocery shopping can be a chore for me but not at this Publix. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. Walking through the store, employees often ask if you need assistance and are very knowledgeable about the products carried by the store and where they are located. The pharmacy staff acknowledge you with a smile and some by name. At busy times management jumps right in and opens more registers to keep the flow going at a comfortable pace. The pharmacy is ridiculous there. The store itself is ok, clean, not too long of a wait anywhere...except the pharmacy. I had a pharmacy tech lie to me and tell me they had my 3 year old's medication in stock and could fill it. Of course when I got there they didn't have 1 of them and tried to make me purchase over the counter (and over priced) items instead of another one they couldn't fill. When I asked why I was told that they were done when they obviously were not, the pharmacist blew right over it with no explanation. The staff is rude and I cannot trust a pharmacy that misleads customers. Shame on you Publix Pharmacy. read more

I have been coming to this Publix location since it opened and the bakery dept is by far the best in our area. I utilize them for work and for personal events. Our office orders at least one to two cakes a month and we are NEVER disappointed. We are lucky to ALWAYS work with the talented & courteous Jessica as she goes above and beyond to exceed our quality expectations.
